I am now four – how time passes... - and looking for Hades cause he's finally showing me the gift he has for me. Yay! I found him lounging in the top of the pyramids (one of them) – the Diva – with another chair beside him.

"Is Persephone with Demeter?" I ask him while I sit down. (Demeter is Persephone's mother and around this time (spring) she has to go visit her.)

"Yep." He says, "One of the reasons why I'm exciting. It's bloody boring without her."

"So..." I drawl.

"So? Oh right. The gift." He clears his throat and smirks, "How would you like to have powers?"

"Powers? That's my gift?" I ask shocked. " I thought you were giving me a bracelet or some shit."

"Why would I wait four years to give you a bracelet?"

"Good point. So... what kind of powers? Can I fly, shoot lasers –"

"Calm your horses Super-girl. No and no. I God of the Underworld, brother to Zeus, Poseidon and many, son of Cronus and Rhea, Ruler of the-"

"I know who you are Hades," I tell him annoyed.

"And yet no respect." He mutters. "Fine. You're a witch."

"That's it? Hades don't get me wrong, but Bon-Bon is a witch. It's not that big of a deal." I tell him, "I mean it is better than nothing but..."

"No that's not all. You're not like Cinnabon. Firstly your power, your magic does not come from nature or whatnot. It comes from you. From your inner core. I'm gifting it to you. It's a gift from God. It's different than the normal deal."

"That's amazing! Thank you so much!" I grin at him, "But what do you mean different from the 'normal deal'?"

"I mean that it's not the same type. You can use grimoires and so on, but you don't really need them. You just need practice and to learn to control it. And I'll help with that if you need me. I know you, like me, prefer to do things on your own."

"That is really wicked. You're the best Hades!"

"Of course I am!" He scoffs and I laugh.

"So how do I use it. Do I say abracadabra, and something happens? Do I need a wand or something?"

"No, you don't need a wand or something. I just told you the magic comes from within you. You don't need a wand if you don't want to." He explains while I nod along, "The magic is simple to use but hard to control, you may find it harder in the beginning. You need to feel it, you know? Feel the magic, you need to focus on what you want to do. Really mean it. With practice, you'll gain control and that means you'll become stronger."

"I don't know any spells," I mutter.

"You don't actually need them. But I think you should use some at first. It helps you concentrate on what exactly you want to do. You can even create them."

"Create them? Do you mean that I can use some Harry Potter spells and they would work?"

"If you knew exactly what you wanted to do yes they would. You just need to focus and mean it. As you learn to control you won't need spells anymore you'll just need to think about what you want. But yes spells always help more."

"Cool, cool, cool... That's really cool. Can I do it as Ellie too?"

"Of course. That's the main reason I waited until you were four. By now you have enough strength and body mass." He tells me with a smile. "You can practice alone but be careful. Start small. If you have any questions or need a place to practice safely you always have the Underworld. And me. Or Persephone. Nyx might be able to help too."

"Thank you. Thank you so much!" I hug him, "I'm gonna go now, but don't forget our game on Friday!" And I left. You must be asking what I was talking about. Well, me, Hades, Persephone (when she's here), Thanatos (most times), Nyx, and sometimes Hypnos have a weekly poker game on Fridays. It's really cool.

I have been practicing my magic. I started with the basics as Hades said. And with the help of HP, I knew lots of spells. Hades was right it is easier. I tried without them and my mind was just all over the place. I wanted to move my cover but then I ended up soaking it in water because I was thinking that I was thirsty. My fake parents thought I peed myself. Oops. (I'm four so it's not that big of a deal).

Relationships wise I have a lot to talk about.

Firstly me, Hades and Persephone are growing a lot closer. We're like a family I dare say. Persephone reminds me so much of my mom and she's really nice (sometimes). Hades is more like me and that's why we get along so well. I mean we do fight but that's fun. So...

Anyway, Nyx has become more of a big sister to me, just like Jenna. They're both really cool. Jenna is now in high school. She's finishing it though. And is going to Whitmore to study psychology soon. But she babysits a lot of times. Nyx is the Goddess of the night. She showed me how to view the stars and told me stories. She also loves to do cool things with me. One time we explored the Amazonian forests. It didn't have any animals, but it was awesome anyway. We also explored old Egypt. Just good things.

Thanatos is starting to like me more too. He even admitted I was better than him in poker which technically means I overcame death. No big deal.... Hehe.

Jeremey is a great brother. We're always together. We and the scooby gang. Which is me, Caroline, Tyler, and Cinnabon. Right now I'm working on befriending Vicky Donovan because I feel like she doesn't deserve what happened to her. I mean the abusive mom and the whole dying situation.

I'm also making sure that firstly Caroline isn't insecure like the OG but more like vampire Caroline without being a vampire. Secondly, I'm boosting Tyler up because his dad is abusive as shit. Most parents in Mystic Falls are though. Thirdly I'm opening Bon Bon's mind, so she isn't so judgemental and racist towards vampires.

Finally, my powers are growing constantly and I'm getting stronger, and Hades says he'll teach me how to teleport (which I insist is called apparating) without getting hurt (splinched!). Which is really cool. Also, Persephone told me that she also has a gift for me once I'm comfortable with my magic. I told her I didn't need anything else that the magic was enough, but she told me that Hades can't win and that she loves me like a daughter and will treat me as such. O was so happy to hear that last statement that I cried happily while laughing and hugging her.

I am now seven. Jeremy and I are still as close as ever and still have our bedtime story tradition. Yay!. Caroline, Bonnie, Tyler, Vicky – I got her to be my friend! Yay me! -, Jeremy and I are together all the time. We're the Scooby gang! Matt sometimes joins because he and Tyler are friends, but I don't really like him. SO.... I decided to tell everyone (the Scooby gang) everything when we turn ten. By then we're old enough and I need to tell them sooner rather than later. I'll tell Jenna if she comes to live with us if our parents do die. She doesn't need to know now. She's already and college and I don't want her to worry about it.

Right now, though, I'm in Persephone's gardens and she is giving me my gift. Hades isn't here because Persephone said he would ruin the mood. I love them!.

"I don't want to beat around the bush with you Ellie. You do know we Gods are rather blunt. So I'm going straight to it. Alright?" She asks me and I nod. "I, Persephone, will gift you the gift of nature."

"Like yours?" I blurt out.

"Not exactly. I control the harvest, spring, death, life, vegetation, destruction. You, honey, have now the gift of nature. You can communicate with it and control it." She tells me.

"But I don't deserve that. I mean I already have magic and .... Controlling nature..."

"Ellie, you do deserve it. Because I said so. You have a good heart, a tad psychotic and mental but good nonetheless." She tells me and I beam at her. What being psychotic and mental is awesome! "And maybe controlling nature isn't the right wording. Will you control it? Yes but only around you. You will not be as my mother that even the weather controls. But don't worry I will help you in your path. Unless-"

"You're with Demeter?" I finish for her and she nods with a smile.

"Now, this gift, just like your magic comes from within you. Like all gifts of gods. You have to feel it mean what you want. Nature will communicate with as you will with it. It will help you too. You just have to believe in it." She tells me and I nod along.

That was how Persephone gave me the gift of nature which I may say is overwhelming. If I can touch the soil I can grow anything. But it is true it has to come from within me I have to feel nature running through me. The breeze, the animals, the plants... I can also talk with nature. The animals, the trees. It's awesome! And this way I can create a squirrel army to attack Steffy!

We're all ten now and I'm ready to tell everyone. I took them to the forest where I made a tree grow some time ago. The tree is beautiful, and the leaves are beautiful. It is also special. I planted it in the middle of the woods and placed a 'spell' on it – that Hades taught me – so only I and the people I choose can see it. It is special because it's a treehouse. Literally in the middle of the tree that is a space where I put pillows and fairy lights so we can hang out. It's awesome and it has some steps of branches that lead to it.

So I gathered them there. They were fascinated by the tree – it was the first time I showed it to them. Caroline even complimented me on the pillows and fairy lights! So it was me, Tyler, Care, Bon-Bon, Vicky, and Jeremy. Matt was not included because I don't trust him enough yet. We all sat down, and I told them everything. About my old life, the gods, how I'm not the real Elena, my powers, how I know of the past and future (I didn't tell them the future though just that when we're seventeen – and Jer fifteen – everything will start) and finally how Bonnie and Tyler are part of the supernatural.

Caroline was the first one to tell them that I was still me and that just made me cooler. I grinned at her. Bonnie also told me that and that she's looking forward to her powers being unblocked. Tyler was anxious at first about triggering the curse, but I told him that I was going to try and prevent it, and even if he triggered it we would be there for him. Jeremy was ecstasy and it finally clicked where I got my stories from. Vicky was just happy for me and promised to be there for me.

The rest of the afternoon we spent it in the woods with me showing my powers (more like bragging but who cares?). I apparated from one side to the other, with and without people (though Jer vomited the first time and Cinnabon fainted... Oops!). I also gave Tyler wolf ears, Vicky green skin which she screeched for me to take off. I also gave the girls flower crowns and asked a deer and a bear to let us ride them (the deer was named James how ironic! Next time I'm definitely going to HP and the bear was named Albert Huh we called him Al).

That was how I told my friends. I feel like a weight was lifted off my shoulder. Fucking Finally. Plus we decided to all start (plus Matt) self-defense classes. And now just a few more years to go.

That night after I told my friends I decided that I should at least plan something for when everything starts. I'm not really a person that makes plans. I mostly wing it. Because even if I do plan I usually don't follow it. So nothing is set in stone. But here are some of the things I am planning on doing:

1) Get everyone in the Scooby gang vervain tattoos, cause it's cool and practical. Take Jenna once everything starts.

2) Free Enzo cause he's awesome and doesn't deserve what the mad scientists do to him.

3) Try to save my parents.

4) Stake Mikael and kill him.

5) Burn Wickery Bridge and sign (after plot starts).

6) Befriend Kathrine when she arrives cause she's wicked.

7) Find a way to survive the ritual cause it would be a pain if I didn't.

8) Get all Mikaelsons out of the coffins + Kat's freedom.

9) Train my powers

10) Get really good at self-defense

11) Include the game Bullshit in my weekly card game with the Gods.

12) Ask Hades about Klaus's ritual and if getting a blood bag of my blood spelled to never empty would work for Nicky.
