"SANTA KLAUS!" I call out as I step inside his house – Klaus bought a big house here in Mystic Falls while his mansion is getting built. He decided to stay here for a while before going back to New Orleans. It is now 2010, I think? I'm not really good with dates. Anyway, Caroline is following behind me as I call out to my favorite hybrid.

"WHAT?" He growls as we see him come downstairs.

"Nothing." I simply say innocently. "Oh, Nick, I brought Care, I hope you don't mind."

"Not at all, love." He says charmingly as he looks at Caroline who blushes slightly. "We do have to be careful, they may be hungry when they wake."

"Oh, I took care of that already." I wave him off as he smirks slightly – I put a spell on her.

I walk up the stairs as Klaroline starts to talk to each other. I really don't want to be in the middle of their small chat and eye-fucking, so I make a beeline to the room where the coffins lie. The room is pretty large. It has white walls and the three coffins are laid evenly on the floor. There is a human by each of them, who I assumed were compelled to be their "blood bags". Elijah is already there sitting on a couch by the window, so I go to sit next to him.

"Are you nervous?" I ask and he looks at me blankly.

"No."

"Right." I scoff, "You know you can be nervous, right Eli?"

"Thank you, Ellie." He nods, "How is Miss Claire getting along?"

"Oh, everyone loved her. She's blunt but sweet. Kind of like me. I'm not that sweet though. I can see she's one of us already."

"I'm glad," Elijah says with a small smile. During our trip to New Orleans, Eli and Davina created this weird brother/father bond that they don't want to admit they have. Talk about weird...

"You should talk to Finn when he gets out." I tell him, "He's been suffering through the years. He became more aware of the daggers and had time to dwell on his thoughts that vamps are abominations. You should show him how important he is to all of you."

"He's been hurting?" Elijah asks with a look of panic.

"Yeah... It's not your fault 'Lijah. Just talk to him. And tell him Sage is alive and looking for him."

"I will. Thank you, Ellie." Elijah smirks and I again turn to him.

"Also, you should talk to Kol. All of you, actually."

"Why?"

"He and Finn, at least from what I know. I don't really know them personally. Feel left out of the 'Always and Forever. You should show them that they are important too. Besides, Kol, like Klaus doesn't have a part of himself. From what I know he used to have magic and he misses it a lot."

"You're getting shrink like El," Elijah says in amusement but with an underlying thoughtful tone.

"Well, if I can't solve my problems, I'll solve others'" I smile at him, "Everyone deserves a chance at happiness. This is my second chance, so I'm not worried about myself."

"I hope you'll get happiness too, Ellie." Elijah smiles then sigh, "I'm glad we're friends."

"Me too. I'm amazing, after all." I smirk and he chuckles, "I mean you can literally say you're friends with a Goddess. That must be so cool." I sigh.

"Ellie, you can say you are a Goddess." Caroline laughs as she enters the room.

"Oh, you're right! I never thought about it like that." I mutter and Klaus laughs. Laughs! Jerk.

"Well let's make haste and take my siblings out of their misery," Klaus announces.

"Make haste?" I snort.

"You're really that old, aren't you?" Caroline laughs and Klaus scowls.

"I don't look old, love."

"You're right. For someone who is 1000 years old you look pretty fine." Caroline smirks and Klaus smiles smugly.

After me, Klaus, and Elijah each go for one coffin and open it. My lucky coffin revealed to be... Drum rolls... Bekah! I'm so going to be friends with her. Klaus opened Kol's and Elijah Finn's. I sent a look to the brothers to ask for permission and when they both nodded we took the daggers out. But it was really boring. They didn't wake up instantly. Instead, it took time. A lot of time. Maybe I'm exaggerating but it was enough for me to lay on the couch with my head in Care's lap and fall asleep. I woke some minutes or hours (Who cares?) later by Care Bear shaking me.

"What?" I groan.

"They're waking." She murmurs and I nod in understanding and sit up. As I do I see Kol, Finn, and Bekah all slurping the bloody life out of their personal blood bags. I grin as I see them. I know, I know, they're killing someone... Who cares? When they all finish the humans fall limp and their souls are probably be gifted to Thanatos so... How bad could it be. Really?

Me and Caroline stand up but stay near the couch far from the three originals. We don't want to mess with their Kardashian family drama. One by one each looks around the room and then their gaze turns sharply on Nick. Oopsie. Bad Nicklaus.

"Long time, Brother!" Kol grins maniacally and I'm fangirling then Finn grabs the dagger and stabs Klaus and I'm fangirling again.

"Finn, no." Klaus groans in pain. After a while of 'Nooo' or 'You fucking left us in the coffin' or 'I really need to take out on someone', yadda, yadda the siblings calm down.

"Who are the bimbos?" Bekah asks looking at us with a condescending look and I raise an eyebrow at her – she didn't even recognize me as one of the doppels! Yay! Neither of them did.

"Who are you calling bimbos?" I ask her.

"Who are they, Nick?" She asks turning to Nicky. Klaus smiles (genuinely) and looks at us and then at his siblings.

"They, my dear sister, are Caroline Forbes and Ellie Gilbert." He introduces us.

"Does the brunette look like Tatia to you too?" Kol asks with his head tilt to Finn and the latter nods in agreement. "Who are you darling?"

"Are you deaf? I'm Ellie." I say with confusion and Klaus snorts as Kol scowls.

"She's the doppelganger." He says simply and the three siblings all glare at me. Jeez.

"Why isn't she dead?" Rebekah asks.

"Cause I'm gorgeous." I huff and I can see Klaus and Elijah looking in amusement.

"Oh for God's sake, don't tell me both of you fell for her." Rebekah groans and I start laughing as Caroline snorts and Eli and Nicky are shaking their heads in amusement. The other three originals are just confused.

"God no. Santa and Noble are much more like my brothers than lovers. Believe me. Even though they do look hot." I add the last part in thoughtfulness.

"Thank you for that, Ellie," Klaus smirks and I grin back.

"You still didn't answer why she wasn't dead." Kol points out.

"I was dead. Twice, actually." I say and they look at me weirdly and I scoff, "Seriously? I say I died twice to a bunch of Original Vampires and you look at me like that?"

"Touché, darling," Kol smirks and I smirk back.

"Why did you free us, Nicklaus?" Finn finally asks, "And how is it that she's alive but yet you seem to have broken your curse?" Klaus looks ready to start off a whole long ass lecture on the science of... something. So I yawn and pull Care down on the sofa laying again in her lap, not noticing a certain Original glancing at me in amusement.

"About a few months ago I received a badly crypted message-" I cut him off.

"Badly crypted?! You, Nick, don't have any sense of humor." I huff in disbelief and he glares at me (but it isn't his murderous glare, not that he could kill me anyway...) I take out my phone ignoring the curious looks from the box vamps and search until I find the message, "I'll even read it." I announce.

"You don't have to Ellie." Caroline sighs from behind me and I snort.

"Of course I have to." Then I turn to three very confused originals, "I am really sorry to interrupt your brother's annoying lecture, but I will need your honest opinion on my apparent "badly crypted" message" I say.

They nod uncertain but with amusement and Kol says, "Very well, darling."

I clear my throat and begin, "Dear Santa Klaus" They snort at that and I grin, " I hope this reaches you. If you're tired of having half of yourself locked up. Like a wolf out of his pack. This is for you. I know about a wolf who's waiting to be impaled. A bat is in a street waiting to be turned. Then we have the stone from the moon, that really just looks like soap, and finally the piece that's missing in order to set you free. The doppelbitch. That's me BTW. Come to the falls that are mystic where it all started. I'm willing to volunteer as a tribute. Fear not, I will not kill you. I'm not crazy. Sometimes." They're chuckling along with the message as is Care-Bear who never heard it and Elijah is just amused along with Finn (he doesn't laugh). Klaus is sulking. "So I call upon you, Santa Klaus. And I hope you'll grace me with your presence. AND hear what I have to say before I get drained from blood in the circle of fire. You know you need me, XOXO – Doppelbitch (who's way prettier than Kitty Kat.)"

After some more chuckling from Bekah and Kol, Kol asks me, "You sure we're right, darling, Nick does not have a sense of humor." And I grin.

"So you called, Nick? She called you?" She asks in a bit of respect and utter confusion. Who can blame her?

"Yes." Nick says in exasperation, "Now may I continue with the story?" He asks and we all nod, "As I said, after receiving the message, I decided to show up in Mystic Falls. But in order to spy on the doppelganger-"

"Ellie."

"In order to spy on Ellie, I made a witch put me into her and Caroline's history teacher." He informs the and I beam at him after he mentioned Care (she blushed! Aw!). "No matter, at the end of my first class, El stayed behind and started talking to me."

"Isn't that normal? She's his student after all?" Rebekah asks with confusion.

"She talked to me. As in she knew who she was talking to." He says and the three vampires widen their eyes, "With this simple conversation she got me to undagger you, destroy the daggers and concede Katerina her freedom."

"With a simple talk?" Rebekah asks skeptically.

"Well, not simple. But yes." Klaus smirks.

"You honestly expect us to believe that, Nick?" Kol asks in amusement as he looks sideways at me.

"Of course you are." I scoff, "Honestly, best talk me and Nick ever had." I say with a smile. "He even threatens me and my loved ones."

"And you're fine with it?" Rebekah asks in shock.

"Ellie is... different. She probably told Klaus to piss off." Caroline grins at the originals and I sent her a 'you're the best friend in the world' look.

"She wouldn't be standing here if she told, Nicklaus to... piss off." Finn says and I can see the underlying 'we're monsters' mindset of his.

"Maybe not piss off. But something along the lines of, killing me now would be counterproductive Nick and dial down the threats." I smirk and they're looking at Klaus like he grew two heads.

"Ellie is now considered a friend. And so are her friends. We would even go as far as a family in some cases." Elijah says with a smile on his face.

"Father is dead," Klaus announces and their eyes bulge out of their sockets.

"WHAT?!"

"We killed him." Elijah nods.

"How?" Rebekah asks in a mix of awe, relief, and a hint of sadness.

"The bastard was dissected in a coffin. We used a white oak stake on him." Klaus says.

"So there's no more white oak?" Kol asks.

"There isn't, indeed, brother." Elijah says and I look at him with a pointed look, "Ellie burned the rest of it. The bridge and the sign."

"You burned a bridge, darling?" Kol asks and I can see a glint of something in his eyes. Ooh, maybe he wants to go and burn stuff with me!

"Of course I did. Pretty fun." I smirk as I feel Care run her hand through my hair (I'm still with my head on her lap).

"How do you know so much?" Rebekah asks curiously.

I sit up and shrug, "Story for another time, Becky." Then I sent a message to Caroline through my mind "Let's leave, I'm sure they have tons to talk about." She nods so I turn back to the Mikaelsons who are looking at us curiously, "We'll be taking our leaves. You surely have a shit ton of things to talk about." Then me and Care start heading to the door downstairs with Klaus following behind walking us to the exit like a fine gentleman.

"See you soon El. And you sweet Caroline." He smirks and Care blushes a bit. "And before I forget, sometime this week the mansion will be ready, and invitations will be sent. We're having a Ball." Both me and Caroline beam.

"I, I mean, we'll be there for sure," Caroline says and I grin after saying our goodbyes we went to my house where Care spent the night over talking my ear off about how cute and handsome Klaus is. I just smiled at her and let her talk, listening to everything the lovey-eyed blond talked about.
