CRACKS OF THE
UNIVERSE
━━━━━∙⋆⋅⋆∙━━━━━
"Cracks." The Doctor explained. "Cracks in time. Time running out." His eyes widened ever so slightly. "No, couldn't be. Couldn't be. But how is a duck pond... a duck pond if there aren't any ducks? And she didn't recognise the Daleks." He looked at Hollie. "And yet you did..." His frown deepened further. "Okay, time can shift. Time can change. Time can be rewritten. Ah. Oh!" His eyes widened.
×××
"It's like, I don't know, a curtain of energy, sort of shifting. Makes you feel weird. Sick." Marco explained to Amy.
"And you think it scared the Angels?" Amy asked.
Pedro shrugged. "What could scare those things?"
Amy held her hands out and shifted slightly in the same spot. "What are you doing?" Marco questioned.
"Point me at the light."
"You can't open your eyes."
"I can't open them for more than a second, that's what the Doctor said." She repeated his words. "Still got a bit of countdown left."
"Ma'am. you can't." Marco urged.
"I need to see it." Amy pleaded. "I'm I looking the right way?" She asked. "I have to be quick."
Marco turned Amy ever so slightly right by holding onto her shoulders. " Very quick."
"Okay." Amy nodded, sucking in a breath before opening her eyes, she gasped slightly at the site. "It's the same shape. It's the crack in my wall."
"Close your eyes, now." Marco ordered.
"It's following me!" Amy exclaimed. "How can it be following me?" She fell to her knees, Marco placed his hand over Amy's eyes, forcing her to close them.
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah." She breathed. "It was the same shape."
"Marco, you want me to get a closer look at that?" Pedro asked.
"Go for it. Don't get too close."
"Hang on." Amy frowned. "What about the other two? Why not just wait until they're back?"
"What other two?"
"The ones you sent before."
"I didn't send anyone before." Marco looked at the ginger with his eyebrows drawn together.
"You did,", Amy nodded. "I heard you. Crispin and Phillip."
"Crispin and who?" Marco asked.
×××
"Amy, there never was a Crispin or a Phillip on this mission, I promise you." Marco told her. Amy shook her head.
"No, I heard you. Before you sent Pedro, you sent Crispin and Phillip, and now you can't even remember them." She frowned. "Something happened. I don't know what, and you don't even remember."
"Pedro?" Marco questioned.
"Yeah, before you sent Pedro." Amy nodded.
"Who's Pedro?"
×××
"Doctor Song, Miss Aria, get through, now." River nodded and climbed through. "Doctor?" Hollie looked at the Time Lord who stood still, staring at the forest.
"Doctor." Father Octavian added.
"Time can be unwritten." He repeated before looking at the three. "It's been happening all around me and I haven't even noticed."
"Doctor, we have to move." Father Octavian pushed on.
"The CyberKing." He continued. "A giant Cyberman walks over all of Victorian London and no one remembers."
"We have to move it. The Angels could be here any second."
"Never mind the Angels. There's worse here than Angels."
"Doctor!" Hollie yelped as the lights went out for a second, the next an Angel had hit's arm around Father Octavians throat.
"I beg to differ, sir." Father Octavian commented.
"Let him go." The Doctor ordered it.
"Well, it can't let me go, sir, can it? Not while you and Miss Aria are looking at it."
"We can't stop looking at it, it'll kill you."
"It's going to kill me anyway. Think it through. There's no way out of this. You have to leave me."
"Can't you wriggle out?" Hollie whispered.
"No, it's too tight." You have to leave me, miss. There's nothing you can do.
×××
"Something's happening. Pedro was here a second ago and now you can't even remember him."
Marco sighed in annoyance. "There never was a Pedro. There's only ever been the two of us here."
"No, there were five of us. Why can't you remember?"
"Listen. I need to get a closer look at that light, whatever it is. Don't worry, I won't get too close."
"No." She shook her head. "No, you can't. You mustn't."
"Here." He placed a device into her hand. "Spare communicator. I'll stay in touch the whole time."
"You won't, because if you go back there what happened to the others will happen to you."
"There weren't any others."
"There won't be any you if you go back there!"
"Two minutes. I promise."
"Please," she huffed. "just listen to me!"
×××
"Sir, there's nothing you can do." Octavian told the Doctor.
"You're dead if we leave you."
"Yes." Father Octavian sighed. "Yes, I'm dead. And before you go-"
"I'm not going." The Doctor cut in.
"Listen to me, it's important. You can't trust her."
Both the Doctor and Hollie frowned. "Trust who?"
"River Song." He added. "You think you know her, but you don't. You don't understand who or what she is."
"Who is she?" Hollie asked.
"I've told you more than I should." He sighed. "Now please, you have to go. It's your duty to your friends sir."
"Just tell me why she was in Stormcage?" The Doctor asked.
"She killed a man. A good man. A hero to many."
"Who?"
"You don't want to know, sir. You really don't."
"Father Octavian, who did she kill?" Hollie questioned as she sniffed wiping a tear from her eye.
"Sir, Miss Aria, the Angels are coming. You have to leave me."
"You'll die." The Doctor reminded.
"I will die in the knowledge that my courage did not desert me at the end." He replied. "For that I thank God, and bless the path that takes you to safety."
"I wish I'd known you better."
"I think, sir, you know me at my best." Father Octavian replied.
"Hollie, go."
"But-" Hollie whispered.
"Please." He swallowed hard, taking her hand and squeezing it for a second. "I'll be right behind you, I promise."
Hollie nodded and headed to the hatch, climbing through.
"Ready?" The Doctor asked.
"Content." Father Octavian replied, the Doctor quickly ran to the hatch and climbed through, closing it with Hollie's help as soon as he stood up.
"There's a teleport." River briefly looked over at the two as she continued to work on the computer system. "If I can get it to work. we can beam the others here." She looked at the Doctor and Hollie again. "Where's Octavian?"
"Octavian's dead." The Time Lord replied. "So is that teleport. You're wasting your time. I'm going to need your communicator."
×××
Amy held the communicator Marco had given her up, her eyes still closed. "Hello? Are you there?" She frowned when there was no reply. "Hello? Hello?"
"I'm here." She heard Marco reply after a moment. "I'm fine. Quite close to it now."
"Then come back. Come back now, please." Amy begged.
"It's weird looking at it." He added, completely ignoring her request. "It feels really..." He stopped talking. Amy swallowed hard:
"Really what? Hello?" She added after there was no reply from Marco. "Really what? Hello? Hello? Hello? Please say you're there. Hello? Hello?"
"Amy?" The Doctors voice came through the communicator. "Amy? Is that you?"
"Doctor?"
"Where are you?" Are the Clerics with you?"
"They've gone." She whispered. "There was a light and they walked into the light. Doctor, they didn't even remember each other."
The Doctor closed his eyes in annoyance. "No, they wouldn't."
"What is that light?" River asked.
"Time running out." He replied, glancing at the blonde woman for a moment. "Amy, I'm sorry, I made a mistake. I should never have left you there."
"Well, what do I do now?"
"You come to us. The Primary Flight Deck, the other end of the forest."
"I can't see." She shook her head. "I can't open my eyes."
"Turn on the spot."
"Sorry, what?" Amy frowned.
"Just do it. Turn on the spot."
"When the communicator sounds like my screwdriver, that means you're facing the right way." He pointed his screwdriver at the communicator and activated it. "Follow the sound. You have to start moving now. There's Time energy spilling out of that crack, and you have to stay ahead of it."
"But the Angels, they're everywhere." Amy protested.
"I'm sorry, I really am, but the Angels can only kill you."
"What does the Time energy do?" Hollie asked.
"It doesn't matter."
"Doctor, what does it do?" Amy asked.
"Just keep moving!" The Doctor snapped.
"Tell me."
"If the Time Energy catches up with you, you'll never have been born. It will erase every moment of your existence. You will never have lived at all."
Hollie gasped, her eyes wide as her hands flew to her mouth while she stepped back slightly. "No!"
"I'm sorry." The Doctor lowered his head for a moment. He then raised the communicator to his mouth again. "Keep your eyes shut and keep moving."
"It's never going to work." River spoke up.
"What else have you got!" The Doctor turned to her, his eyes narrowed and jaw clenched. "River! Tell me!"
"Doctor!" Hollie shouted at him, stepping between the Time Lord and other blonde. "Don't argue, please. We need to focus on Amy." She swallowed hard. "I cannot have my best friend disappear."
The Doctor sighed and nodded. "Sorry River."
River slowly nodded letting out a small sigh as well. "I'm sorry too."
The communicator in the Doctors hand suddenly started to slowly beep. "Doctor, why is the communicator doing that?"
The Time Lord closed his eyes and took in a deep breath. "The Angels running from the fire." He let out his breath. "They came here to feed on the Time Energy, now it's going to feed on them." He used his sonic on the communicator again. "Amy, listen to me."
"I'm sending a bit of software to your communicator. It's a proximity detector. it'll beep if there's something in your way. You just manoeuvre till the beeping stops because, Amy, this is important. The forest is full of Angels." He looked at Hollie for a moment before he focused back on the communicator. "You're going to have to walk like you can see."
"Well, what do you mean?"
"Look, just keep moving."
"That Time Energy," River looked at the Doctor, "what's it going to do?"
"Er, keep eating."
"Doctor, how do we stop it?"
"Feed it."
"Feed it what?" River asked.
"A big, complicated space-time event should shut it up for a while." He shrugged.
"Like what, for instance?"
"Like me, for instance!" He shouted back, River swallowed hard, her eyes meeting Hollie's for a moment before they both looked at the communicator in the Doctors hand, the device beeping in a different tone to before.
Amy stopped walking. "What's that?"
"It's a warning." The Doctor replied. "There are Angels round you now. Amy, listen to me. This is going to be hard but I know you can do it. The Angels are scared and running, and right now they're not that interested in you. They'll assume you can see them and their instincts will kick in. All you've got to do is walk like you can see. Just don't open your eyes. Walk like you can see." The beeping continued and the Doctor sighed. "You're not moving." He paused for a moment, waiting for the communicator to make a different noise. "You have to do this. Now. You have to do this!" He shouted louder, hitting the equipment near him."
The three listened as the beeping slowed down before speeding up again and then slowing down again as Amy walked past the angels, a moment later they heard the gingers voice, quieter as if she was further away. "Doctor? I can't find the communicator. I dropped it. I can't find it, Doctor. Doctor." Hollie squeezed her arm as she hugged herself, her arm hurting with how tightly she was squeezing. "Doctor. Doctor!" She grabbed the communicator and slowly rose to her feet as River worked on the controls in front of her, a moment later Amy appeared in a flash and River grabbed her. Don't open your eyes. You're on the Flight Deck. The Doctor's here. I teleported you. See?" She smirked at the Doctor. "Told you I could get it working."
"River Song, I could bloody kiss you." The Doctor laughed.
"Ah well, you'll end up regretting it when you're older."
Hollie giggled at Rivers cheeky wink she gave the Time Lord before she threw her arms around her best friend.
"Holls?" Amy questioned.
The blonde smiled. "It's me, Ames. Are you okay?"
"Better now." The ginger replied a moment before an alarm blared.
"What's that?" River asked.
"The Angels are draining the last of the ship's power, which means the shield's going to release." The Doctor replied as the bulkhead rose in front of the four, a large array of angels stood on the other side, one angel standing in front of the others scattered around.
"Angel Bob, I presume." The Doctor addressed it.
"The Time Field is coming. It will destroy our reality." The voice of Angel Bob echoed.
"Yeah, and look at you all, running away." The Doctor crossed his arms. "What can I do for you?"
"There is a rupture in time. The Angels calculate that if you throw yourself into it, it will close, and they will be saved."
"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Could do, could do that. But why?"
"Your friends will also be saved."
"Well, there is that."
"I've travelled in time." River cut in, looking at the Doctor. "I'm a complicated space-time event too. Throw me in."
"Oh, be serious. Compared to me, these Angels are more complicated than you, and it would take every one of them to amount to me, so get a grip."
"Doctor, I can't let you do this!"
"No, seriously... get a grip."
Hollie blinked as the Time Lords words sunk in and she giggled.
"You're not going to die here!"
The Doctor rolled his eyes. "Hollie figured it out, come on River, Amy, get a grip."
"Oh, you genius." River smiled.
"Sir, the Angels need you to sacrifice yourself now." Angel Bob stated.
"Thing is, Bob, the Angels are draining all the power from this ship. Every last bit of it. And you know what? I think they've forgotten where they're standing. I think they've forgotten the gravity of the situation. Or to put it another way, Angels." He grabbed hold on the handles on the console, Hollie copied him, grabbing onto the handles near her.
"You hold on tight and don't you let go for anything." River told Amy and she helped her to grab onto the controls.
"Night, night!" The Doctor laughed as an alarm started to blare and the gravity failed, causing the four to start hanging sideways as the spaceship began to tilt, the angels started to call backwards, hitting trees on their way down towards the white light of time energy.
×××
Eventually the crack closed and the backup power turned on, allowing the group to make their way back through the forest, to Amy's great disappointment with the belief that she still needed to keep her eyes closed, causing her to bump into a lot of things on the way back.
"Bruised everywhere..." Amy complained, a blanket over her shoulders as she leaned on a rock.
"Me too." The Doctor replied.
"You didn't have to climb out with your eyes shut."
"Neither did you." Hollie snorted making the Doctor chuckle in agreement as he nodded.
"I kept saying. The Angels all fell into the Time Field. The Angel in your memory never existed. It can't harm you now."
"Then why do we remember it at all?" Amy frowned. "Those guys on the ship didn't remember each other."
"You're time travellers now. Amy." He looked between both the girls. "It changes the way you see the universe, forever. Good, isn't it?"
Hollie nodded before she frowned. "What about the crack Amy said she saw? Is that gone as well?"
"Yeah, for now." The Doctor nodded. "But the explosion that caused it is still happening. Somewhere out there, somewhere in-" The Doctor was stopped in his tracks as a flash out of the corner of his eye made him, Hollie, Amy and River turn around.
"Oh, not you three." River groaned slightly as the Doctor blinked and rubbed his eyes while Amy frowned tilting her head slightly.
"Is anyone else seeing double..." Hollie slowly pointed at the two identical blonde women and the dark brown-haired man standing between them.
The blonde on the mans left huffed while the one on the right whacked the man on the shoulder. "We're late!" She snapped, her accent, clearly British, a hint of possibly London somewhere in it.
"Cass!" The man groaned rubbing his shoulder, his accent quite similar to the womans. "What was that for?!"
"I told you to let me put the coordinates in!" She huffed.
The woman on the mans left stared at the other group while the Doctor, Hollie, and Amy all stared back. River sighed shaking her head at the three. "Ori, Cass..." The woman dragged the words out.
"I'm sorry but who got us stuck last time?" The man crossed his arms at the woman.
"Guys-" The one on the right tried to cut in.
"Shut up!" River suddenly snapped making all three of them shut their mouths and look at her. "Honestly there is no mistaking you three for siblings."
"Sorry Riv." The two women apologised at once.
"Thank you." River nodded then raised a brow at the man. "Orion?"
"Sorry River." He grumbled.
River smiled at them. "Thank you." She then looked at the Doctor, who's mouth had dropped at how quickly River had defused the situation. "Ah, allow me to introduce these three trouble makers." The two identical women glared while the man huffed. "Cassiopeia." She nodded at the woman on the mans right who gave a small salute. "Nova." She nodded to the identical woman on his left who nodded slightly. "And finally their poor brother stuck in the middle: Orion." Who just rolled his eyes.
The Doctor shut his mouth finally getting his brain to work again. "Siblings?"
"Triplets." The three corrected before glancing at one another smirks on their faces. "Or to some 'the time trio'."
"Right..." He slowly nodded. "How do you know Ri-"
"Spoilers." River and the triplets replied at once.
"Doctor," Amy looked at him. "who are they?"
"No idea." The Time Lord frowned and crossed his arms. "Who are you?"
"We can't tell you," Orion replied.
"Sorry." Cassiopeia shrugged.
"We were told not to say." Nova finished.
Hollie frowned. "By who?"
"Spoilers." The triplets answered.
"So you can't tell us anything?" The Doctor guessed.
"Correct." Cassiopeia nodded before winking. "It would ruin the surprise otherwise."
"Surprise?" He raised a brow.
"Cass!" The two other siblings narrowed their eyes.
"Sorry!" She apologised raising her hands in the air. "He asked!"
River shook her head. "You three will be the death of me."
The Doctor swallowed hard. "Not so sure about that." He muttered.
"Yeah let's not mention that," Orion whispered to his sisters making them both swallow hard.
"What?" River looked at him.
"Nothing!" He replied.
River shook her head again. "You three." She looked at the siblings. "Are horribly late." She narrowed her eyes. "I told you to be here before me not after everything was sorted!" She grumbled. "Don't make me go and tell your parents."
The three rolled their eyes. "As if you would do that."
"Okay, can you three please stop talking together." Amy pleaded. "It's spooky."
"Sorry." They all apologised before chuckling.
River shook her head. "Go. Before you accidentally spoiler something."
"Yes River." They all nodded, the two women held onto Orions arms while the man punched in a bunch of coordinates into his own vortex manipulator, the two women having identical ones on their own arms before they all disappeared.
"What now?" The Doctor asked looking at River while she placed a set of high tech handcuffs onto herself.
"The prison ship's in orbit. They'll beam me up any second. I might have done enough to earn a pardon this time." She grinned. "We'll see."
"Octavian said you killed a man."
"Yes, I did." She nodded.
"A good man."
"A very good man. One of the best men I've ever known."
"Who?" He questioned.
"It's a long story. Doctor. It can't be told, it has to be lived. No sneak previews. Well, except for this one. You'll see me again quite soon, when the Pandorica opens."
"The Pandorica. Ha!" He snorted. "That's a fairy tale."
"Doctor, aren't we all? I'll see you there."
"And what about the triplets?" He questioned.
"You may see them soon, you may not." She shrugged. "It all depends." She winked.
"On what?" Hollie frowned.
"Spoilers." She chuckled.
The Doctor shook his head. "We'll look forward to it."
"Of course you will." She then looked at Amy and then Hollie. "Goodbye you two.
"Bye, River." Amy hugged the woman.
"Oh, I think that's my ride."
"Can I trust you. River Song?" The Doctor asked.
She shrugged. "If you like. Ha, but where's the fun in that?"
The three watched as River disappeared in a flash. Amy looked at the Doctor and frowned. "What are you thinking?"
"Time can be rewritten." He replied.
×××
The Doctor, Hollie and Amy stood in the TARDIS and Amy swallowed hard before looking at the Doctor who was fiddling with the console. "I want to go home."
Hollie turned to look at Amy as the Doctor stared at the console before he slowly nodded. "Okay."
"No, not like that." Amy giggled, standing up from where she was sat on one of the chairs in the console room. "I just, I just want to show you something." She walked towards the Doctor. "You're running from River. I'm running too."
Hollie looked at Amy and nodded slightly smiling before giving the ginger a pointed look. "Amy has a lot to explain."
"Holls!" Amy narrowed her eyes. "It's not my fault."
"Yeah, yeah." Hollie rolled her eyes. "I'll catch up with you guys, I need to grab some water or something, running from those angels made me thirsty."
"Can you get me some jammy dodgers." The Doctors eyes brightened. "The TARDIS should have some in a cupboard somewhere in the kitchen. Come join us for Amy's explanation after."
Hollie giggled. "Hungry after the angels?"
The Doctor winked at the blonde. "Of course."
×××
"Well." The Doctor sat next to Amy on her bed.
"Yeah." She glanced at the wedding dress hanging on the wardrobe.
"Blimey." The Doctor replied.
"I know. This is the same night we left, yeah?"
The Doctor glanced at the watch on his wrist. "We've been gone five minutes."
Amy picked up a ring box. "I'm getting married in the morning."
The Doctor took the box from her and tapped the ring. "Why did you leave it here?"
"Why did I leave my engagement ring when I ran away with a strange man the night before my wedding?"
"Yeah."
"Hmm. You really are an alien, aren't you."
"Who's the lucky fellow?"
"You met him."
"Ah, the good looking one. Or the other one?" He gestured a large nose.
Amy lightly shoved him. "The other one."
"Well, he was good too." The Doctor shrugged. "Wait, Hollie obviously knows as well."
"Of course she does." Amy rolled her eyes. "She's my maid of Honour." She shook her head. "Can we stop talking about her for one second though."
"Who, Hollie?"
"Yes!" Amy shook her head. "It's always Hollie this and Hollie that, kind of cute really."
"Cute?" He frowned.
Amy nodded. "Yeah, so, do you comfort a lot of people on the night before their wedding?"
"Why would you need comforting?"
"I nearly died. I was alone in the dark, and I nearly died. And it made me think."
"Well, yes, natural. I think sometimes." He replies before changing his words. "Well, lots of times."
"About what I want. About who I want. You know what I mean?"
"Yeah." The Doctor said before pausing as he watched Amy. "No."
"About who I want." She said again but slower.
"Oh right, yeah." He nodded then frowned. "No, still not getting it."
"Doctor. In a word. In one very simple word even you can understand." She leaned towards the Time Lord to kiss him. The Doctors eyes widened and he stood up, climbing over the end of the bed to get away from the ginger while she followed him.
"No! You're getting married in the morning!" He protested.
"Well, the morning's a long time away. What are we going to do about that?" She smirked, pinning the Doctor against the TARDIS and attempting to undo his shirt.
"Amy, listen to me." He pushed back on her shoulders. "I am nine hundred and seven years old. Do you understand what that means?"
"It's been a while?" She smirked.
"Yeah." He replied before quickly correcting himself. "No, no, no. I'm nine hundred and seven, and look at me. I don't get older, I just change and Hollie will be back any second!"
"Oh Hollie, Hollie, Hollie." Amy shook her head. "And you are sweet. Doctor. But I really wasn't suggesting anything quite so long term." She then kissed him and the Doctor froze. His eyes widened as he was unable to move.
After a few moments his head suddenly began working again and he pushed her away, pulling his suspenders she had slipped down back on. "But you're human. You're Amy. You're getting married in the morning... In the morning."
"Doctor?" Amy carefully watched him.
"It's you. It's all about you." He suddenly said. "Everything. It's about you."
Hollie's eyes widened as she registered the Doctors words, after hearing the whole conversation, the TARDIS kept bringing her back to the console room before somehow making the entrance to the rest of the TARDIS disappear completely, it was as if the ship wanted her to witness this. To realise how stupid she was to actually think that she meant anything to him at all? Even it was as a friend. He was right, he is nine hundred years old and she was just 21. Practically a baby in his eyes and yet he went for Amy who knew how she felt, even when it was a silly little crush.
But Rory... Oh Rory, he had no idea what his soon to be wife was doing with that nine-hundred-year-old alien.
She nearly jumped out of her skin as the TARDIS door swung open as she was caught in her own thoughts and the Doctor stormed inside
"Hollie!" The Doctor quickly switched his dark fuming eyes for bright energetic ones as he spotted the blonde while he walked inside. "Was about to come and find you, we have a slight issue."
"No we don't!" Amy shouted running in, her eyes wide with a terrified expression on her face.
"It's alright." She shrugged and headed towards the corridor that has now appeared again. "I'll go." She sniffed and swallowed hard. "You two go have your fun or whatever it is you were doing."
The Doctor watched her leave and sighed. "What's up with her?" Amy asked leaning against the console.
The Doctor narrowed his eyes at Amy. "She heard everything."
"Heard what?" Amy asked.
"Us." He growled at the ginger. "But she got it wrong." He pointed at her. "I am not doing that with you." He snapped.
"Aww, is the Doctor all upset now?" Amy mocked a pout. "Is he upset because his girlfriend is all upset."
The Doctor frowned. "What's wrong with you?" He asked. "Hollie's your best friend!".
Amy shrugged. "I never asked her to listen to our conversation."
"Don't you get it?" The Doctor snapped. "Your best friend is upset."
"No." Amy shook her head. "She's heart broken."
The Doctor stared at her for a moment before opening his mouth. "What?"
"Don't you get it Doctor?" Amy laughed. "Hollie likes you."
"Cause she does, we're friends."
"No." She shook her head at the blind Time Lord. "She likes you more than a friend, much more, always has."
The Doctor froze. "What?"
Amy sighed and crossed her arms. "What do you think got her so invested in art?" Amy asked before nodding at him. "You." The Doctor watched as Amy pulled up a photo on her phone. "She drew that." She held an image of the Doctor stood in front of the TARDIS that was surprisingly well done."
The Doctor smiled. "She's really good."
"That's because she drew non stop. Almost always it's you and the TARDIS, eventually, she got really, really good at it."
"She never told me what she drew, just said she drew a lot "
Amy rolled her eyes. "Of course she wouldn't." She placed her hands on the Doctors shoulders and spun him around before pushing him in the direction of the corridor. "Now go explain yourself to her."
The Doctor nodded and smiled as he headed off down the corridor. He had to set things right with Hollie before they could set things right with Amy.
