THE BIG BANG
━━━━━∙⋆⋅⋆∙━━━━━

Fourteen years later...

Hollie slowly woke up slightly groggy after the late night she and Amy the day before, sharing stories, and wine and celebrating the big day ahead for Amy Pond.

It was finally here, her wedding day.

Hollie blinked slightly and frowned, something wasn't right, maybe she had just drank too much wine the night before and it was still going to her head, nevertheless, she turned to Amy who groaned and rolled over on her bed, opening her eyes and spotting her friend looking up at her from the spare mattress on the floor.

The two girls giggled before they looked up as a woman holding a tray entered the room.

"What are you two giggling at this early in the morning?"

"You're my mum." Amy gaped at her, " Oh, my God. You're my mum."

"Well, of course, I'm your mum." The woman Hollie could strangely remember being called Tabetha frowned at her. "What's the matter with you? And this is your breakfast, which your father made," she placed it on the bed, "so feel free to tip it out of the window if it's an atrocity." Hollie smiled slightly. "You two downstairs, ten minutes. Big day!"

Hollie frowned at Amy who stared at the two plates of food on the tray. "Of course, she's my mum. Why is that surprising?"

"Strange..." Hollie frowned before shaking her head and biting into the toast before grimacing and swallowing the piece in her mouth a second before putting the toast back on the plate. "Toast is burnt Ames."

Amy giggled and shook her head. "Come on!"

The two headed downstairs and Amy froze as a small plump bald man, dressed in a suit turned around.

"Ah, Amelia, Holliaet. I fear I may have been using the same joke book as the best man."

Amy suddenly grinned and launched herself at the man. "You're my tiny little dad!" She exclaimed.

Hollie frowned at Amy's rather odd behaviour but did have to agree, after all the time she had spent staying at Amy's which was almost as if she permanently lived there something with the ginger's parents didn't sit quite right. She didn't feel right either...

"Amelia, why are you behaving as if you've never seen us before?" Tabetha asked.

"I don't know. It's just." She frowned and looked at Hollie, practically pleading for the blonde to say something.

"Amy we better get dressed if you want any help with your make-up." The blonde shook her head. "I won't have time to do mine and yours if we keep standing around chatting."

"Of course." Augustus - Amy's father nodded. "Go get ready."

Amy nodded and followed Hollie upstairs. "Thank you." She sighed as they entered Amy's room.

"You're welcome." Hollie grinned. "Now come on you need to get ready, I wasn't joking!"

Amy shook her head and grabbed her phone. "Let me call Rory first."

Hollie rolled her eyes. "You'll see him later, hell you'll see him all night." She smirked.

"Holls!" Amy lightly shoved her friend, her cheeks burning up at the comment.

"It's true though." She shrugged. "Knowing you too, you won't be able to keep your hands off each other."

Amy rolled her eyes. "When you fall in love you'll understand."

"I have," Hollie replied before she blinked.

Where the hell did that come from?"

Amy stared at her. "What?" She frowned. "When?"

"I don't-" She muttered, the concern on her face clear as day as she tried to think why she said that. Hollie looked up at Amy slightly worried. "Why don't I know?"

Amy looked at her friend for a moment and shook her head. "I'll get it out of you later." She pointed and dialled Rory's number.

"Hello!" Rory happily answered.

Amy looked at Hollie for a moment before talking into the phone. "Do you feel like you've forgotten something really important? Do you feel like there's a great big thing in your head, and you feel like you should remember it, but you can't?"

"Yep," Rory answered while Hollie slowly nodded, having the exact same feeling.

"Are you just saying yes because you're scared of me?" Amy replied.

"Yep."

Amy grinned. "I love you."

"Yep." Hollie heard the man reply, she snorted and could picture Rory's eyes widening at his slip-up. "Er, I mean, I love you too!"

Hollie shook her head and grabbed the phone from Amy. "Sorry to cut you two lovebirds short but unless you want Amy turning up to her own wedding in her nightdress we're going to have to go."

"Okay." Rory chuckled. "Bye Holls."

"See you later, Rory." She replied hanging up the phone before walking to the bathroom.

She froze in place as her eyes landed on the mirror. Who the hell was looking back at her because it most definitely was not her face?

Hollie slowly raised a hand up and lightly touched her cheek. Her eyes widened in horror as she took in features that were completely different to those she knew she had the day before, either she had forgotten what she looked like and was going insane or she changed her face... but why was no one else noticing and she couldn't have possibly changed her face? Hollie ran a hand through her hair which was still blonde and roughly the same length as before but now a slightly lighter tone. Her eyes looked different too but again they were still blue, possibly a different shade of colour. Panic began to set in the longer she looked at herself and her eyes widened as she realised she wasn't even the same height as before! She had somehow grown a complete three inches.

Suddenly an image of a man with floppy brown hair wearing a tweed jacket and a bowtie of all things pooped into her head. She tilted her head in wonder as she tried to picture his face and what that even meant before she was snapped back to reality as Amy popped her head into the bathroom. "Can you help me do my hair?"

"Of course." The blonde smiled at her friend, her smile disappeared the moment Amy had turned away, and a puzzled look filled her face as she wondered what she had been so deeply worried about moments ago. She shook her head and turned away, the memory of the Doctor along with her regeneration and the change in her appearance gone too.

As interesting as weddings were Hollie grew bored in the church while Amy and Rory got married, she huffed in annoyance at the space next to her which was empty after quickly learning that Mels as always was not going to turn up after being imprisoned again... The annoyance eventually passed though and she cheered happily as it was announced the groom may kiss the bride. Hollie clapped away along with the rest of Amy and Rory's friends and family, her smile slowly fell through as she suddenly saw a flash out of the corner of her eye, she turned her head slightly and frowned, swearing that three people were standing at the edge of the church a moment ago.

Time quickly pressed on and everyone soon found themselves in the village hall, the room decorated for the reception. Hollie sat at the head table next to Amy's father, wearing a dark blue, strapless dress that fanned out from her waist to her knees. Amy's father read the paper in his hands for over the fifteenth time, using the blonde as his test audience for his speech that was still not 100 percent finished.

Hollie groaned lightly hitting her head on the table as Augustus frowned and crossed out a line while Amy laughed with Rory and Tabetha.

"Ladies and gentlemen," the master of ceremonies announced, "the father of the bride, Augustus Pond!"

Augustus stood up. "Sorry, everyone." He apologised. "I'll be another two minutes. I'm just reviewing certain aspects."

Tabetha laughed and leaned over to talk to Amy. "Your father, Amelia, will be the absolute death of me. Unless, of course, I strike pre-emptively."

Amy laughed before stopping and watching a curly-haired blonde woman walk past a window, Hollie was mid-head whacking the table again before she stopped and stared at the woman when she caught her eye, the woman walking past smiling ever so slightly at Hollie.

Amy stood up, tears forming in her eyes while Rory frowned. "Amy? You okay?"

"Yeah," Amy nodded, "I'm fine."

"Right. Er, you're crying." He pointed out.

Amy carefully reached up and wiped a tear rolling down her cheek. "So I am. Why am I doing that?"

"Because you're happy, probably. Happy Mrs Rory." He nervously smiled. "Happy, happy, happy."

"No, I'm sad." She replied. "I'm really, really sad."

"Great," Rory muttered.

Hollie sucked in a shaky breath and shook her head, trying to get rid of the horrible feeling in her stomach, she swallowed hard, the words Augustus read off his page just mixing in with the rest of the laughter and chatter of the people sitting at their tables. Something was definitely wrong.

"Why am I sad?" Amy asked before noticing a small blue book with a red ribbon tied around it. "What's that?

"Oh, er, someone left it for you. A woman." Rory explained.

"But what is it?"

"It's a book."

Amy carefully undid the ribbon and frowned, flicking through the pages. "It's blank."

"It's a present."

"But why?"

"Well, you know the old saying. The old wedding thing. Huh?" Amy slowly looked down at her lap before scanning the people in the room. "Amy, what? Hey."

Hollie frowned and felt a tear roll down her face, carefully wiping it away she reached into her small bag for a tissue before frowning and feeling something cold and metal, pulling it out she frowned at the long device with four claws at the end and a green tip. "What the-" She muttered staring at the oddly familiar device.

"Ready now." Augustus stood up, smiling and holding a piece of paper. "Sorry about that. Last-minute adjustments to certain aspects. Now then, it hardly seems a year since..." He began but of course, Amy or Hollie weren't listening, they were too interested in the guests. Amy quickly noticed one of the guests wearing a bow tie before she spotted another wearing braces.

Hollie's eyes snapped down to the device in her hand. "Sonic..." She muttered before looking up and noticing, a fez? Why on earth was there a fez of all things at Amy and Rory's wedding reception and why did it remind her of the faceless brown floppy-haired man?

"At the age of six Amy announced that the new head teacher wasn't real because she looked like a cartoon."

"Shut up, Dad!" Amy stood up, shouting at the top of her lungs, everyone gasped, their eyes widening in shock.

"Amy?" Rory frowned.

"Amelia?" Augustus looked at her, quite shocked himself at her outburst.

"Sorry, but shut up, please. There's someone missing. Someone important. Someone so, so important.

Hollie's eyes widened as everything suddenly snapped into place all at once and the image of him suddenly came back, ridiculous chin and all, how the hell did she forget about him?

"Amy, what's wrong?" Rory asked.

How hadn't she noticed when looking into Amy's mirror? She realised something was wrong but she didn't question it further but she had regenerated just like he explained to her before.

"Sorry." She apologised. "Sorry, everyone. But when I was a kid, I had an imaginary friend."

Her smile grew and the horrible feeling in her stomach disappeared as her hand tightened around the sonic screwdriver in her hand.

"Oh no, not this again." Tabetha groaned while everyone looked around, muttering to one another.

"The raggedy Doctor." Amy finally announced and looked at Hollie, grinning when seeing the blonde smiling just as widely and also stood up. "Our raggedy Doctor. But he wasn't imaginary, he was real."

"The psychiatrists we sent her to," Tabetha muttered.

"I remember you," Amy spoke up. "I remember! I brought the others back, I can bring you home, too. Raggedy man, I remember you, and you are late for my wedding!"

Everyone looked around as glasses started to gently rattle on the tables. Hollie laughed and brought the sonic screwdriver to her face before she kissed it. "We found you. We found you in words like you knew we would. That's why you told us the story of the brand new, ancient blue box."

Hollie looked around as a strong gust of wind made balloons move around in all directions, only staying where they were supposed to by the strings attached to chairs and tables.

"Oh, clever." Hollie laughed. "Very clever."

"Hollie?" Rory frowned. "What is it?"

Amy looked at Hollie grinning. "Something old. Something new."

"Something borrowed." Hollie smiled, taking her best friend's hand and stepping onto the table with her. "Something blue."

The two best friends along with Rory, Augustus, Tabetha and the rest of the guests watched in amazement as the TARDIS materialised in the middle of the room.

"It's the Doctor." Rory stared at the box as he remembered. "How did we forget the Doctor?"

Hollie and Amy grinned as they jumped off the table, marching straight towards the box. "I was plastic." Rory looked at Tabetha before he blinked and blurted out: "He was the stripper at my stag." He told Amy's mother before quickly adding: "Long story."

"Okay, Doctor." Hollie smiled. "Did I surprise you this time?"

The Doctor suddenly poked his head out, a black top hat on his head while he was dressed in a black suit and tails instead of his usual tweed. "Honestly yeah." He replied, smiling at her. "Completely astonished." He remarked with a smirk. "Never expected that. How lucky I happened to be wearing this old thing." He lightly pulled at the cuffs on his wrists as he stepped out of the TARDIS. "Hello, everyone." He smiled as the guests gasped. "I'm Amy and Hollie's imaginary friend. But I came anyway."

"You absolutely, definitely may kiss the bride." Amy walked up to him.

The Doctor held a finger up to her lips, stopping her, Hollie slightly chuckled at her friend as the Doctor wiped his finger on Rory's jacket as he walked to them. "Amelia, from now on I shall be leaving the kissing duties to the brand new Mister Pond."

Rory's face fell. "No, I'm not Mister Pond." He shook his head. "That's not how it works."

"Yeah, it is." The Doctor remarked. Hollie giggled as the Time Lord raised a brow. "Told you, you could do it didn't I?" He winked at the blonde.

Hollie nodded and smiled before she blinked as she remembered. "You might be needing this now that you're back."

The Doctor raised a brow before he took his screwdriver from her and kissed her cheek. "Thanks for looking after it." The Doctor then looked around at the people staring at the four, some of the people's mouths gaped open after watching the Doctor and Hollie. "Right then, everyone. I'll move my box. You're going to need the space. I only came for the dancing." He winked at Hollie.

The blonde laughed and followed the Doctor into the TARDIS, Amy and Rory looked at each other grinning.

"So!" The Doctor loudly announced, dancing up to the console, the blonde woman following behind him.

"So?" Hollie repeated puzzled as he happily moved around the console and pulled a lever.

"Firstly, thank you again."

"Thank you?" She repeated.

"You saved me, again." He replied, emphasising the last part as he looked around the rotor at her. "It's becoming a habit of yours."

Hollie shrugged. "Your Rescuer."

The Doctor winked at her. "Wouldn't change it for the Universe."

Hollie giggled at him before her laughter died down and she looked at the ground almost nervously. "Doctor?" She called making him look up from the console at her. His face became serious. "Why can I regenerate?"

Hollie watched the Doctors face closely as he avoided her eyes and began to play close attention to the console, the silence in the air deafening before he quietly answered her question. "I wish I knew." The blonde sighed shaking her head and hugged herself.

She was scared, no actually, she was terrified.

Everything had happened so fast and her head was still pounding. "But I'll figure it out." He added after seeing the uneasy look she had acquired. He walked around the console and gently took hold of her arms, crouching down slightly to be at eye level with her as he spoke to her with as much determination as he could give. "I promise you I will get to the bottom of it and I'm sorry." He swallowed hard looking at her almost sadly.

Hollie frowned for a moment confused and opened her mouth to question him before she blinked as the Doctor quickly engulfed her in a large hug, he huffed slightly in frustration unable to tuck her head under his chin with her new height. "How do you feel?" He murmured.

"My head's pounding." She replied, closing her eyes while breathing in deeply before letting it all out. "And I'm really scared."

"I know." He whispered, his eyes looking down at her for a brief moment before he squeezed her slightly, desperately hoping to bring some form of comfort. "Believe me, I know."

×××

She still felt uneasy about the whole thing but the distraction of Amy and the Doctor ridiculously dancing to different songs as she sat beside Rory at the wedding reception certainly helped cheer her up. She laughed loudly at the pair as they danced along to 'Crazy Little Thing Called Love' by Queen, the Doctors hands waving about wildly. "Come on!" The Doctor called, waving her over to them.

Hollie shook her head at him, giggling quietly at the pair, her eyes widened and she yelped as the Doctor grabbed her hand and pulled her onto the dance floor, she stumbled slightly and fell into him, blushing furiously as she straightened, the Doctor's face was looking no better as Amy laughed louder at them leaning into Rory after she moved over to her new husband. The man chuckled at the Doctor and Hollie, the two of them looking just as uncomfortable as each other.

×××

Not long after Hollie had escaped the Doctor and his dancing Time Lord found new entertainment and stood in front of a bunch of children who were enchanted by the energetic Time Lord, his arms wildly moving from left to right above his head. "That's it." He praised them as they copied him. "That's good. Keep it loose."

×××

It finally was nearing midnight and not many people remained at the reception as it began to play more relaxing and slow songs the Doctor stood by a wall, quietly watching Amy and Rory slowly sway to a song after Hollie had disappeared somewhere. "Two thousand years." He murmured with crossed arms as he watched them. "The boy who waited. Good on you, mate."

Hollie smiled and walked up to the Doctor and stood next to him watching her friends. "I didn't think I'd ever get to see Amy get married after Rory was erased from the Universe."

"Well, you and Amy saved him." The Doctor replied, his eyes looking over at her as he warmly smiled. "Just like you saved me. You are my rescuer, I mean it, Hollie."

She didn't reply and smiled at him before she fought against herself and decided to rest her head on the Doctor's shoulder, making the Time Lord blink slightly before the look changed to somewhat nervousness as he fought with himself back and forth, on one hand, and in part of him he believed she was still her, his ridiculously mysterious and impossible yet incredible Hollie but on another, she was a stranger, she wasn't the Hollie he knew with her warm smile. She couldn't fit her head perfectly under his chin.

It was frustrating because she looked so similar and yet so different at the same time.

She looked up at him curiously a moment before he suddenly asked her: "Do you want to dance?"

She blinked, removing her head from his shoulder as she stared at him in shock and her cheeks reddened slightly. "With you?"

"You don't have to." He quickly added, his eyes wide for a second as he nervously chuckled at the look on her face. "I just think after everything you should relax so please Hollie dance with me, you deserve a break. You saved me after all."

Hollie bit her lip and thought for a moment before slowly nodding, glancing down at her shoes as her cheeks became an even darker shade of red making the Doctor smile at her nervousness and he took her hand. He slowly moved over to the dance floor with her following behind him. "How are we doing-" the Doctor began only to cut himself off when Hollie gently wrapped her arms around his neck. The Doctor swallowed hard and gently set his hands on her waist. "Is this?"

"Okay?" She finished with a small giggle. "Yes Doctor, it's fine."

"Good." He grinned and copied her movements as she began to sway from left to right. The Doctor smiled the two of them staying in silence for some time, watching each other carefully.

After some time the Doctor tilted his head a little as Hollie looked deeply in thought up at him. "You okay?"

Hollie must have snapped back to reality from whatever she had been thinking about as she blinked and looked at him sheepishly. "Sorry." She apologised, her cheeks reddening again. "I was thinking about what you said."

"When?"

"When you were in the box, just before you went to restart the universe, you said there were some things you wanted to tell me. I didn't want to question it then, not when you had so little time left but now you clearly have all the time in the universe."

"Ah." The Doctors eyes widened as his cheeks burned up at the memory and his foolishness for listening to his hearts in that moment. "That. Right, yes." He swallowed hard. "Well..."

Hollie giggled at the speechless Time Lord. "It's okay, take your time," she smirked at him slightly, "Time Lord."

"Very funny." He pointed out with a small grin before he closed his eyes for a moment and sighed, pausing his movements as he collected his thoughts and decided how best to explain himself. "I shouldn't even have had that thought going through my head, I've lived for too long but something about you intrigues me, you're mysterious and so, so confusing all at the same time and to put it simply I adore you..." He watched her closely, his own hearts no doubt echoing in the room at how fast and hard they were beating. "I-" He paused and shook his head. "Changing your face hurts because I was finally sure of myself but I think I love you." He said with a sigh before his words sped up and he began to ramble to her. Hollie's eyes widened as he continued as her mouth fell open as he continued to speak. "I never told you before because I was terrified about losing you one day but after today realising what I had lost I decided to say screw it to the Universe and admit my feelings to you and I'm sorry if you believe it's wrong for me and I promise you I can put whatever feelings I have aside and we can just be friends but I needed to tell you. I owe you that much after everything you have done for me."

She stayed silent for a long time and the Doctor shifted uncomfortably under her gaze as she took in everything he had just said before her face fell at the use of past tense as she simply said:

"Oh."

The Doctor looked down at her with nervousness she had never seen on the Doctor as Hollie looked up at him sadly. "I see." She forced a small smile as a lump forced itself in her throat and her heart shattered at what she could only describe as sadness in his eyes. The Doctor suddenly looked alarmed as her eyes glossed over with tears and the Doctor looked in shame before he found himself involuntarily moving his head towards her, ducking down to gently press his lips against hers softly. Hollie's eyes widened in shock before she relaxed against him as she kissed him back, her hands wrapping themselves around his neck as he found her waist.

Hollie pulled back away from him and she frowned slightly. "I thought-"

"If I loved you before I can love you again." He cut her off. "I'm a Time Lord, it doesn't matter what you are on the outside, whether you're still her or not I have really loved you. Ever since I first kissed you."

Hollie looked at him with hope. "I'm confused."

The Doctor sighed, shaking his head. "I want us to at least try whatever this is because a part of you is still in there and it is ridiculously contradictory for me to always say I'm still me when I change but it to be different with you." She frowned at him as he looked visibly torn as part of him wanted to hold her in his arms and kiss her senseless while the other wanted to run away and mourn for her. "I'm an idiot." He grumbled to himself.

"Yeah, you are." She pointed out and then smiled slightly. "Okay."

"Okay?" He frowned.

Hollie huffed. "Are you finally asking me to be your girlfriend or not?"

The Doctor blinked at the forwardness of her question. Was this how she was now? Rude? She wasn't even ginger either! "I guess so?"

"You guess?" Hollie replied and dropped her arms from around his neck before crossing them. "It's a simple question."

The Doctor groaned, he needed to make his mind up and quick, was or wasn't this woman Hollie, his rescuer? "I'm sorry." He finally admitted it and looked at her softly. "I'm a stupid, stupid idiotic old man."

Hollie smiled slightly at the love suddenly in his eyes as he leaned his head against hers and took her hands. "Yeah, you are." She told him, except this time she had a teasing tone to her voice.

He huffed dramatically. "You didn't have to agree." She let out a small giggle at him and, hugged him tightly as the Doctor forced himself to hug her back. "I've loved you ever since you surprised me with a kiss when we met the Angels." She announced before shoving him slightly. "And thanks for the scare with that Doctor!"

The Time Lord laughed at her and shook his head. "I'm sorry you had such a kissable look on your face then."

"Oh shut up." She murmured.

The Doctor chuckled. "But back onto the subject." he removed his hands from her waist before taking hers in his. "Time Lords didn't usually have girlfriends and boyfriends, it was usually arranged marriages which I personally never agreed with, I did fight them on that one a couple of times, you should have seen the full-"

"Doctor." Hollie smiled, giving him a pointed look as she cut him off.

"Yes?"

"Rambling." She giggled and he blinked.

"Oh." He gave her a sheepish. "I guess I am asking you to be my girlfriend if that's what you want that is."

"Yes." Hollie smiled and rested her head on his chest, she closed her eyes and carefully listened to his two hearts beating in rhythm. "Of course, it's what I want."

The Time Lord smiled and after a few more minutes he stopped swaying with her and he gently pulled Hollie away from the dance floor and then outside. "So am I no longer an idiot now?" He questioned.

"Oh, you're always going to be an idiot." She grinned making the Doctor lightly shove her as they made their way towards the TARDIS. "Just now you're officially my idiot."

"I'm your idiot and you're my rescuer." He hummed.

"Did you dance?" The voice of River Song echoed through their ears, making Hollie smile as they both turned around to look at her. "Well, you two always like to dance, don't you?"

"You tell us." The Doctor asked.

"Spoilers." River winked.

The Doctor slowly shook his head and reached into his pocket before he brought out River's diary and vortex manipulator. "The writing's all back, but we didn't peek."

"I did have to stop him a few times." Hollie giggled.

"Thank you, Holliekins." River chuckled and raised her eyebrows at the Time Lord, giving him a pointed look.

"And Nova's vortex manipulator." The Doctor handed that to her next. "I trust you can get it back to her?"

The blonde opposite them nodded and Hollie tilted her head in wonder. "Do you have anyone to dance with when it comes to weddings River?"

"Oh, there was one person, she was one of my best friends." River fondly smiled before she hummed. "But she's got someone else to dance with now."

"I'm sorry." She apologised.

"No, it's okay, she's happy." She winked. "And now she gets to dance to all different songs."

The Doctor watched River curiously wondering what she meant by that. "River, who are you?" He suddenly asked.

"Oh, you're going to find out very soon now. And I'm sorry, but that's when everything changes." She placed her vortex manipulator on her wrist and pressed a button.

The couple watched her disappear and looked at each other. "Nah." The Doctor shrugged, kissing Hollie's forehead. "Nothing's going to change now." Hollie grinned and followed the Doctor into the TARDIS.

"Oi! Where are you two off to?" The voice of Amy Pond or rather Amy Williams echoed through the TARDIS as she stepped inside "We haven't even had a snog in the shrubbery yet."

"Amy!" Rory exclaimed stepping in after her.

"Shut up. It's my wedding." She remarked. "And I wasn't going to ask the Doctor anyway he has Hollie to snog!"

The Doctor and Hollie blushed bright red as Rory sighed at Amy as he corrected her first statement: "Our wedding."

Rory looked at them both. "Can you just admit it to each other already and get it over with."

"Actually." The Doctor began, looking down at Hollie who nodded encouragingly as he wrapped an arm around her, pulling her closer. "We have."

Amy grinned widely and ran up to the pair, pulling Hollie into a hug. "I was wondering when you would both come to your senses," Rory commented.

The Doctor nodded in agreement. "Yes well, more to the point. Shouldn't have slipped away. Bit busy, you know?"

"You just saved the whole of space and time and got yourself a girlfriend at the same time. Take the evening off. Maybe a bit of tomorrow."

"Space and time isn't safe yet." The Doctor shook his head. "The TARDIS exploded for a reason. Something drew the TARDIS to this particular date, and blew it up all moments before Hollie regenerated which is another mystery in itself, that I need to solve."

The phone inside the TARDIS began to ring as the Doctor continued to explain. "The Silence, whatever it is, is still out there, and I have to-" he paused picking up the phone. "Excuse me a moment."

"Hello? Oh, hello. I'm sorry, this is a very bad line. No, no, no, but that's not possible. She was sealed into the seventh Obelisk." He chuckled. "I was at the prayer meeting." He paused as someone replied. "Well, no, I get that it's important. An Egyptian goddess loose on the Orient Express, in space. Give us a mo." He looked at Amy and Rory. "Sorry, something's come up. This will have to be goodbye."

"Yeah, I think it's goodbye." She nodded and looked at Hollie. "Do you think it's goodbye?"

The blonde smirked as Rory answered for her: "Definitely goodbye."

Amy laughed and the two friends ran to the TARDIS doors, opening them before shouting out: "Goodbye!"

"Don't worry about a thing, your Majesty. We're on our way." The Doctor reassured as Hollie and Amy came to join him and Rory at the console.

The Doctor went to grab the leaver but stopped when Hollie placed her hand on it. "Can I?" he grinned and gestured to the console while nodding. "Be my guest."
