GOODBYE
HOLLIAET ARIA
━━━━━∙⋆⋅⋆∙━━━━━
Leadworth 1996...
Seven-year-old Holliaet Aria sighed and turned to face Amelia Pond, her best friend who currently knelt on the floor, she was praying on her bed. Holliaet nervously turned towards the crack behind her on the wall of her best friend's bedroom, she always got an uneasy feeling whenever she happened to look at the large 'w' shaped crack in the gingers wall. "Come pray with me Holliaet," Amelia ordered, opening one of her eyes for a second only to close it again when her friend nodded having been pulled out of her thoughts, her curly dark blonde hair bouncing as she hopped off the bed, standing on her sleeping bag before joining Amelia on the floor.
"Dear Santa." Amelia began while Holliaet closed her eyes and put her hands together to pray. "Thank you for the dolls and pencils and the fish." Holliaet giggled at her friend, having only been told about her pet fish that sadly didn't manage to live very long earlier that day. "It's Easter now, so I hope I didn't wake you, but honest, it is an emergency. There's a crack in my wall. Aunt Sharon says it's just an ordinary crack, but I know it's not, because at night there's voices, my best friend Holliaet has heard them too so please, please, could you send someone to fix it? Or a policeman. Or a—" Amelia stopped and Holliaet opened her eyes as the wind whistled through the window. "Back in a moment," Amelia muttered before she and Holliaet stood up. They ran to the gingers window and looked outside only to sigh when nothing was there, the garden empty.

A few days later...
Holliaet sighed in her empty bedroom, the other girl she had been sharing with had just moved to another foster home. She looked at the bare white walls and sighed sadly. No matter how much she moved around she always ended up back at the same place not long after leaving, it was like something was keeping her there, whatever it was, it was annoying as hell. She was never there long enough to truly set in before being moved again.
Holliaet was pulled out of her sulking thoughts as the doorbell rang ring. She ran down the stairs a moment before it opened and the little red-haired girl ran in. "Amelia!" The girl's aunt scolded while Holliaet giggled.
"Oh, it's alright." Vanessa, Holliaet's foster mother smiled. "Just don't do it again, okay?"
Amelia nodded before running over to her friend. "We're going to the museum today!" She grinned.
"That's nice," Holliaet replied trying not to sound too disappointed. "I hope you have fun."
Amelia frowned. "Aunt Sharon said you can come."
Holliaets eyes widened. "Really?"
"Mhm." Amelia nodded and whispered in her ear. "I saw a leaflet go through the door a couple of days ago and begged her to take us."
"Wow." Holliaet gasped before the girls both giggled.
"Alright, you two." Aunt Sharon cut into their conversation. "We best get going."
"Be good Holliaet!" Vanessa told the girl as Holliaet followed her best friend's aunt out of the house, Vanessa handed a small bag over to the woman.

"Why did you beg Sharon to bring us here?" Holliaet whispered to her friend as they wandered through the National History Museum in London.
Amelia shrugged at her friend. "The note said we had to come here and it seemed like fun." She replied before running off. "Come on, Aunt Sharon!"
Holliaet followed her ginger friend through the Museum, the two of them managing to squeeze past a crowd of people before they reached a large box. Holliaet blinked as Amelia's drink suddenly disappeared in her hands, they both looked around before turning back and staring face to face with a post-it note. The pair looked at each other after reading the note with the words: 'Stick around, Holls, Pond." in red writing.
Holliaet grinned at her friend and the two quickly took off again as Aunt Sharon slowly moved through the crowd to catch up with them' Amelia! Holliaet!" She shouted to the girls.

Hours passed with the two girls hiding behind the penguin display in the museum, the main lights in the building eventually went out and no footsteps echoed in the museum. Amelia and Holliaet crept out of their hiding space. The blonde girl giggled at her friend as she accidentally knocked over a few penguins in the display. Holliaet and Amelia walked to the Pandorica, the Post-it still stuck to it. Amelia ducked under the red rope around the box and removed the post-it. "What does it mean?" he ginger asked.
"I don't know." Holliaet shrugged as her friend placed her hand on the box.
They stepped back as the box began to glow green on its circular faces before a bright white light shone out as it slowly opened. A ginger woman sat in the box, her arms, shoulders and torso held in place. "Okay, kids." She looked at them. "This is where it gets complicated."

Roman Britain, 102 AD...
Nova paced back and forth, the universe was in the final process of being deleted, her brother and sister were in the middle of the explosion, the Doctor was in the Pandorica and Hollie-
She swallowed hard at the thought and continued to pace as she tried to remember the story while Rory was focused on Amy lying lifeless in his arms. "So the universe ended." He spoke the ginger. "You missed that, in 102 AD. I suppose this means you and I never get born at all. Twice, in my case. " He chuckled lightly. "You would have laughed at that. Please laugh." He sighed slightly. "The Doctor said the universe was huge and ridiculous, and sometimes there were miracles. I could do with a ridiculous miracle about now."
Nova stopped pacing and Rory looked up as the Doctor suddenly appeared out of thin air. Nova tilted her head, noticing a fez on the Time Lord's head and a mop under his arm.
"Rory!, Nova!" He cheered looking between them. He pulled his attention back to the human man. "Listen, she's not dead. Well, she is dead, but it's not the end of the world. Well, it is the end of the world. Actually, it's the end of the universe. Oh, no. Hang on."
The Doctor then vanished, appearing again without a mop this time. "You need to get to Hollie." He pointed at Nova before pointing at Rory as the blonde quickly headed to Pandorica's chamber. "And you need to get me out of the Pandorica."
"But you're not in the Pandorica," Rory stated factually.
"Yes, I am. Well, I'm not now, but I was back then. Well, back now from your point of view, which is back then from my point of view." He waved his hands about, "Time travel, you can't keep it straight in your head." He tossed the Roman his screwdriver. "It's easy to open from the outside. Just point and press. Now go." He ordered before disappearing again only to reappear seconds later. "Oh, and when you're done, leave my screwdriver in Amy's top pocket. Good luck."
"What do you mean?" Rory asked the air. "Done what?"
Silence surrounded him and Rory used the blanket Amy had been using for warmth to cover her body when he laid her down. He then walked down the stone stairs to the chamber, he suddenly froze, his eyes widening in horror as his face went pale. "Hollie!" He cried out, running to the blonde who was lying limp on the floor, her head resting in Nova's lap, his heart broke at how pale and lifeless she had become and he wondered how long she was lying there alone. He swallowed hard. "What happened?"
"A Cyberman shot her," Nova replied pocketing her screwdriver after reading its results.
"And he's in there?" Rory guessed, looking up at the box ahead of them.
Nova slowly nodded while she kept her eyes on the blonde in her lap. Rory slowly nodded and activated the Doctor's screwdriver, opening the box.
The Doctor looked blankly ahead of him and swallowed back the lump in his throat. He looked in confusion when the Pandorica slowly opened. Only minutes had passed since it closed. Rory watched the Time Lord who sniffed and quickly wiped at his eyes as his arms were freed from the box.
Without saying a word the Doctor stood up from the Pandorica and slowly walked towards Nova who continued to hold Hollie, he carefully knelt down and closed his eyes, bowing his head and took in a deep breath. 'I'm sorry Hollie.' He thought to himself. He still had the Universe to save and he knew Hollie wouldn't let him live it down if she somehow found out he had failed at that because he was upset about her.
"What do you want to do?" Nova gently questioned, looking up at the Time Lord.
The Doctor swallowed hard before he replied: "I'll carry her. But first." He looked at Rory. "How did you do that?"
"You gave me this." He held up the screwdriver.
The Doctor frowned deeply. He dug his hand into his pocket before retrieving his own screwdriver and he held the device up for emphasis. "No, I didn't."
"You did." Rory nodded. "Look at it."
The Doctor shifted slightly and cautiously let the two screwdrivers touch, he jumped back as they both sparked, confirming his theory. "Temporal energy." He stated before continuing to explain: "Same screwdriver at different points in its own time stream. Which means it was me who gave it to you. Me from the future."
The Doctor frowned spotting something in the corner of his eye before he turned to face it properly and walked over to a fossilised Dalek. "Interesting..." He hummed.
Rory looked at the fossilised Dalek in confusion. "What are they?"
"History has collapsed." The Doctor explained. "Whole races have been deleted from existence. These are just like after-images. Echoes. Fossils in time. The footprints of the never-were."
"Er, what does that mean?" Rory asked.
"Total event collapse. The universe literally never happened."
"So, how can we be here?" He questioned. "How comes we're all okay? What's keeping us safe?"
"Nothing." He shrugged in reply. "Eye of the storm, that's all. We're just the last light to go out." He sighed and looked down at Hollie again before he carefully picked up the blonde's body, carrying her bridal style in his arms. The Doctor then frowned "Amy." He whispered, mentally kicking himself for how caught up in his own feelings he had become. His eyes fixed on Rory who he had known was with the ginger last. "Where's Amy?"
Rory swallowed hard.
×××
After moving up top Rory led the Doctor and Nova over to where Amy lay on one of the stones, a blanket over her face "I killed her." He whispered.
"Oh, Rory." The Doctor whispered knowing similarly the pain the human currently was feeling.
"Doctor, what am I?" He questioned.
"You're a Nestene duplicate." He replied. "A lump of plastic with delusions of humanity."
"But I'm Rory now. Whatever was happening, it's stopped. I'm Rory."
"That's software talking." Nova sadly shook her head.
"Can you help her? Is there anything you can do?" He asked.
"Yeah, probably, if I had the time."
"Careful," Nova said, shooting him a warning look.
"The time?" Rory questioned, sending him a glare.
"All of creation has just been wiped from the sky. Do you know how many lives now never happened? All the people who never lived? Your girlfriend isn't more important than the whole universe."
Nova winced as Rory punched the Doctor across the jaw, almost enough to cause him to stumble to the ground. The Blonde quickly steadied the Time Lord.
"She is to me!" The Roman stated.
The Doctor let out a small laugh as he straightened back up, not really that bothered by the punch. "Welcome back, Rory Williams." He smiled as the man frowned. "Sorry. Had to be sure. Hell of a gun arm you're packing there. Right, we need to get her downstairs." He nodded at Amy. "And take that look off your plastic face. You're getting married in the morning."
Rory frowned at the Time Lord while Nova raised a curious brow, closely watching Hollie's body in the Doctor's arms as her fingers twitched slightly. 'Here it comes...'
×××
The Doctor finished walking down the stone stairs to the chamber before freezing, he felt Hollie's body suddenly warm up in his arms at an extremely quick rate. He tensed as her eyes fluttered open. "Doctor?"
"Holls?!" He exclaimed telepathically, his eyes darting to Nova and Rory who hadn't noticed anything was wrong just yet before his eyes met hers again. "You died, you're dead!"
The blonde winced at the loud shouting in her head, the Doctor continued to stare at her in shock, his eyes wide and mouth open not actually believing what was happening. "Feels like it." She chuckled nervously. "What happened?"
"The big bang, I'm not complaining but how are you alive?"
"I don't know." She winced and clutched at her chest feeling a burning sensation.
Rory turned around to talk to the Doctor after setting Amy inside the Pandorica, he looked at the Time Lord stunned as Hollie clutched at her chest with one hand, the other holding onto the Doctor. "She died!" He exclaimed pointing at her.
"I know!" The Doctor snapped, Nova turned around too from where she stood and looked between the Time Lord and the human. "I'm very confused! I watched it happen!"
"I'm the one who died here!" Hollie snapped at them, her eyes darting between the three before she swallowed hard and her grip on the Doctor tightened as fear finally kicked in and she whimpered. "Doctor, I'm scared."
The Doctor snapped himself back to reality and looked down at her. "Whatever this is I'll fix it, I promise you Holls," he stated determined as he tightened his grip on her. "I'll find out what's going on."
"Everything hur-" She began, stopping mid-word to cry out, her grip on the Time Lord so tight her knuckles turned impossibly white. "Everything burns."
The Doctor kissed her forehead and winced at how hot she felt. "I know Holls, I know." He whispered and looked at her hands squeezing his arms and his jaw dropped impossibly further.
Why was she glowing?
More importantly, how was she glowing with regeneration energy of all things?
"Umm..." He licked his lips, looking down at the blonde. "I don't mean to alarm you, Holls..." He began, trying to figure out where to even begin. He didn't even have an explanation for it himself. "Your hands are glowing."
Hollies head shot down to look at her hands, Rory's mouth fell open and Nova watched on closely as Hollie's eyes bulged in a mixture of shock and horror. "What the-" She stopped herself, her head snapping up to the Doctor, eyes now more fearful than he had ever seen them before. "What is going on?!"
"Holls..." He gently began to set her down, holding onto her shoulder to help her balance before he stepped away from her.
"You're regenerating."
"What!" She snapped at him, looking furious now as the Doctor backed further away, pulling Rory and Nova with him. "Doctor!" She pleaded.
"It's okay." He tried to give her a reassuring smile. "Hollie I promise everything will be okay, I swear." The Doctor watched Hollies face and quickly thought of something else to say when she didn't look any closer to any sort of reassurance. "Do you remember when I told you about regeneration?"
"But you said only you could do that!" She exclaimed. "I'm human! I'm not like you!"
"Apparently so can you." He chuckled dryly. "Please just trust me Holls. Just let it happen." She stared at the Doctor for a long moment. "Trust me." He whispered he would get on his knees and start to beg her soon if he had to. There wasn't enough room in the Pandorica for both her and Amy. If she didn't regenerate now there was a chance she'd actually die for good.
Hollie whimpered as she slowly nodded and the pain she had been feeling since waking up suddenly got more and more intense as she allowed her body to do what it needed. She cried out with a loud scream as the chamber suddenly glowed brightly Hollie's whole body was engulfed in regeneration energy as her arms suddenly flew outwards and her head threw itself back uncontrollably as the energy poured out of her.
The Doctor, Rory and Nova shielded their eyes as best as they could from the light that continued to shine before it died down and Hollie, or rather the new Hollie suddenly fell to the floor with a loud thud.
Rory blinked as the Doctor gently knelt down beside her and tucked a strand of her new blonde hair away from her face. While it was still blonde it was much lighter than previously. It was also slightly longer than before. He wasn't even surprised she was out cold the second the regeneration had finished. The Doctor looked down at her body and he tilted his head slightly, it was clear she had grown a couple of inches with how her clothes looked slightly too small on her new frame.
"And here I thought today would be hard on its own." The Doctor remarked to himself while picking Hollie up as her head lolled to rest against his chest. He smiled slightly at her calm and steady breathing. At least she was resting.
Rory looked at the Doctor looking somewhat lost as to what was going on. Nova smiled reassuringly as Rory looked in her direction. "We better sort Amy out now." She commented, glancing at the ginger lying in the Pandorica.
"So you've got a plan, then?" Rory questioned Nova.
"I don't but he does." She nodded at the Doctor, who sighed and reluctantly rested Hollie against the side of the Pandorica before standing in front of Amy.
"Amy Pond is not an ordinary girl. Grew up with a time crack in her wall. The universe pouring through her dreams every night. The Nestenes took a memory print of her and got a bit more than they bargained for, like you. Not just your face, but your heart and your soul." He explained and placed his fingertips on her temples before closing his eyes. "I'm leaving her a message for when she wakes up, so she knows what's happening."
He then stepped away and used his screwdriver on the doors of the Pandorica to seal it shut. Rory's head snapped to the Time Lord as he stepped closer to the box. "Whoa, whoa. What are you doing?"
"I'm saving her." He answered. "This box is the ultimate prison. You can't even escape by dying. It forces you to stay alive."
"But she's already dead."
"Well, she's mostly dead." He shrugged. "The Pandorica can stasis-lock her that way. Now, all it needs is a scan of her living DNA and it'll restore her."
"Where's it going to get that?"
"In about two thousand years." He answered, going over to Hollie again.
×××
Holliaet Aria and Amelia Pond watched the ginger woman fall to her hands and knees after finally getting herself out of the Pandorica. "Are you all right?" Amelia asked. "Who are you?"
"I'm..." She looked up at the young ginger girl. "Fine." She settled on, her eyes flickering to the blonde who was frowning at her. "I'm supposed to rest. Got to rest, the Doctor says."
"What doctor?" Amelia asked as Holliaet also questioned:
"Doctor Who?"
Amy smirked at the blonde before she tapped her head. "He's in here. Left a message in my head like I'm an answerphone." She looked around the museum. "Where am I? Hang on. National Museum, right?" She guessed. "I was here once... when I was a little." She looked at the ginger girl again. "Yeah, complicated." She tilted her head at the pair as she stood before comparing Amelia's height to her own. "Let's see, it's what, 1996?"
"Yep!" Holliaet nodded and looked at Amelia. "She looks like you but older."
Amy smiled. "You're definitely Hollie alright."
×××
"Nova can I borrow that." The Doctor pointed at the vortex manipulator on the blonde's wrist.
Nova shrugged and unstrapped the device before handing it to him. "You did give it to me so sure."
"Right." The Doctor gave her a curious glance before placing the device on his wrist.
"She's going to be in that box for two thousand years?" Rory asked.
"Yeah, but we're taking a shortcut. Nova's vortex manipulator. Rubbish way to time travel," he shot the girl a look, unsure why he gave her one with how much he did hate them, "but the universe is tiny now. We'll be fine."
"So hang on. The future's still there, then. Our world."
"A version of it. Not quite the one you know. Earth alone in the sky. Let's go and have a look. You put your hand there. Don't worry. Should be safe."
"That's not what I'm worried about." He glanced at the Pandorica.
"She'll be fine. Nothing can get into this box." He reassured.
"Well, you got in there."
"Well, there's only one of me. I counted."
"This box needs a guard. I killed the last one."
The Doctor sighed. Of all the days for Rory to be this determined. "No. Rory, no. Don't even think about it."
"She'll be all alone."
"She won't feel it."
"You bet she won't." He shot back.
"Two thousand years, Rory. You won't even sleep. you'd be conscious every second. It would drive you mad."
"Will she be safer if I stay? Look me in the eye and tell me she wouldn't be safer."
"Rory, you-" He groaned.
"Answer me!" He shouted. The Doctor stayed silent and Rory huffed. "Fine if you won't answer that answer this: Would you leave Hollie if you were both in our places?"
"I-" The Doctor began before closing his mouth. He lowered his head and sighed softly. "Why do you have to be so human?"
"Because right now I'm not so sure she is." He replied.
"Look after her." Nova nodded at Rory.
The man nodded back. "See you on the other side."
"Listen to me." The Doctor cut in, holding Hollie in his arms and holding out the vortex manipulator awkwardly to allow Nova to input the time and location needed in. "This is the last bit of advice you're going to get in a very long time. You're living plastic, but you're not immortal. I have no idea how long you'll last. And you're not indestructible. Stay away from heat and radio signals when they come along. You can't heal, or repair yourself. Any damage is permanent. So, for God's sake, however bored you get, stay out of-"
Nova activated the Vortex Manipulator on the Doctor's wrist and the Time Lord disappeared mid-sentence, arriving in the National History Museum two thousand years later.
"Trouble." The Doctor appeared with Nova as a Dalek screamed 'Exterminate!" While it rolled towards them in its slightly fossilised form. "Oh. Ah, two of you." The Doctor frowned looking at Amy and then Amelia before noticing young Holliaet. "Very complicated."
"Exterminate!" The Dalek shouted again. "Weapons systems restoring."
"Come along, Holls, Ponds." The Doctor ordered, quickly running away with Hollie as she stirred in his arms while Nova, Holliaet and the two Amy's followed him.
"Exterminate!" The Dalek cried after them.
The Doctor looked around as they ran into the Middle Eastern section of the museum. "What are we doing?" Amy asked as the Doctor awkwardly picked up and set a fez he found on his head. "And who is this?" She frowned at the blonde the Doctor was carrying.
"Well, we are running into a dead end, where I'll have a brilliant plan, that basically involves not being in one." He explained. "The rest can be explained later."
"What's going on?" A man called, they turned as the light of a security guard's torch shone in their direction.
"Get out of here." The Doctor shouted. "Go! Just run!"
"Drop the device!" The Dalek ordered catching up to them.
"It's not a weapon." The Doctor shouted at the Dalek. "Scan it. It's not a weapon, and you don't have the power to waste."
"Scans indicate intruder unarmed." It stated.
The man dropped the torch on the ground and his fingers revealed a gun while the light no longer in the group's face revealed the man to be Rory Williams.
"Do you think?" He shot at the Dalek in the eyestalk.
The Dalek spun its eyestalk around as it cried out in its horrible screeching voice: "Vision impaired!" It went to shout again but its power went out before it had the chance. "Vision-"
"Amy!" Rory shouted at the ginger running over to her as she met him halfway, shouting his name.
"I'm sorry." He began to ramble as he hugged her. "I'm sorry, I couldn't help it. It just happened."
"Oh, Shut up." She ordered before pulling his head down to kiss him deeply.
"Yeah, shut up," the Doctor added, walking over to them "Because we've got to go." He ordered. "Come on."
The two separated and Rory went to continue on: "I waited. Two thousand years I waited for you-"
"No, still shut up." She ordered pulling him down to her again.
"And break." The Doctor moved from one side of Amy and Rory, looking between them as they kept kissing over and over... for way longer than he thought was possible. "And breathe." He frowned. "Well, somebody didn't get out much for two thousand years." He remarked.
Nova snorted. Oh, how he had no idea...
"Oh, my head," Hollie mumbled through a groan, her eyes slowly opened. "What have I missed?" She grimaced slightly as she looked up at the Doctor before huffing. "Ugh, my mouth is funny."
The Doctor chuckled. "Hello."
Hollie looked back up at him, blinking. "Hi." She then licked around her lips frowning thoughtfully before making funny faces with her mouth.
"I'm thirsty," Amelia complained, pulling their attention away. "Can I get a drink?"
"Oh, it's all mouths today, isn't it." The Doctor huffed, placing the fez on the girl's head. Hollie snorted slightly as she watched the little girl grow annoyed and shove it back at him. "The light." The Doctor frowned, slowly letting Hollie stand. "The light from the Pandorica, it must have hit the Dalek."
Hollies head snapped to the Dalek as the alien's weapon moved. "Doctor..." She whispered, her eyes widening.
"I agree!" He shouted sensing what she was about to say, he grabbed her hand while shoving Amy and Rory out of their kiss as he exclaimed:
"Out! Out! Out!"
The group ran out of the exhibition. Amy frowned at the strange blonde. "Hold on, Doctor where's Hollie and you haven't explained who this is?"
"Umm..." The Doctor muttered. "Nova?"
"Really?" She rolled her eyes and sighed as the Doctor shrugged.
Amy raised her eyebrows, looking between the pair as the Doctor shifted uncomfortably. "Amy, this is Hollie."
"Excuse me?" Amy blinked, staring at the strange woman. "No, it isn't."
Rory nodded gently placing a hand on Amy's shoulder. "It is, Amy she changed her face."
"What." The ginger whispered, looking back at the blonde, she looked her up and down and swallowed hard, she was wearing the exact same clothes Hollie was wearing when they were at Stonehenge. "Hollie?"
Hollie slowly nodded, swallowing hard. "It's me, hey Ames."
"Oh my god." She breathed, running up to her friend and tightly hugging her before pulling away. "How-"
"I don't know." She shrugged. "The Doctor said I regenerated. It's very confusing."
Amy frowned and stepped back slightly. "What, you're like him?"
Hollie shrugged again not completely sure what was going on as the Doctor began searching around the Museum Reception. "I wish I knew but we have bigger issues right now." He remarked before looking at Rory. "So, two thousand years. How did you do?"
"Kept out of trouble."
"Oh. How?"
"Unsuccessfully." He answered and pointed at the Time Lord as he picked up a mop that was leaning against a wall. "The mop!" He exclaimed. "That's how you looked all those years ago when you gave me the sonic."
"Ah." He nodded. "Well, no time to lose, then."
He pressed Novas Vortex Manipulator and disappeared.
"Rory! Listen, she's not dead." He began now standing two thousand years in the past, looking down at Rory who sat on the ground with Amy who was dead in his lap. "Well, she is dead, but it's not the end of the world."
The Doctor returned, handing Nova the mop, she placed it between the door handles as the Doctor disappeared again.
Amelia looked at the blonde woman. "How can he do that?" She asked. "Is he magic?"
"I think he's a wizard." She smirked.
Nova snorted and the Doctor reappeared a second later. "Right, let's go then." He headed off before pausing and spinning around. "Wait! Now I don't have the Sonic. I just gave it to Rory two thousand years ago." He disappeared again. Hollie sighed. "You gave a Vortex Manipulator to an ADHD Time Lord." She glanced at Nova.
The other blonde shrugged sheepishly as the Doctor appeared again, without saying a word he walked to Amy and took his screwdriver out of her top pocket.
"Right then." He nodded. "Off we go!" He stopped again noticing the two young girls. "No, hang on. How did you know to come here?"
Amelia handed him the leaflet from her pocket before Holliaet showed him the Post-it.
"Ah, my handwriting." He nodded. "Okay." He disappeared again and Hollie shook her head.
"He's going to get addicted to that."
"Not when he gets his TARDIS back." She replied.
The Doctor reappeared as quickly as he disappeared, a drink in a paper cut in hand. He handed it to Amelia. "There you go. Drink up."
"How are you doing that?" Amy asked.
"Vortex manipulator. Cheap and nasty time travel. Very bad for you. I'm trying to give it up."
"Not trying very hard are you?" Hollie crossed her arms.
"Hush." He shot back before walking off, the group following behind him.
"Where are we going?" Amy asked.
"The roof." He stated turning to move up the stairs.
Just as he turned a second Doctor with scorch marks, smoking clothes and a lacking fez appeared at the top of the stairs before he tumbled down them, landing at the bottom with a loud thud.
"Doctor!" Hollie shouted, darting over to him while Amy and Rory looked at each other as the original Doctor scanned the other's body.
"Doctor, it's you," Rory stated before frowning. "How can it be you?"
"Doctor, is that you?" Amy questioned.
The Doctor read his screwdriver as Hollie gently cupped the cheek of the chard Time Lord on the ground.
"Yeah, it's me." He whispered. "Me from the future."
The future Doctor's eyes snapped open and he suddenly bent upright, grabbed the current Doctor and whispered something into his ear seconds before he fell back down again, his eyes closed and body still.
Hollie stared horrified. "Is he's..." She swallowed hard, meeting Nova's eyes for confirmation. The other blonde slowly and sadly nodded. It was the only confirmation she needed before she moved up the stairs.
"Hollie?" Amy questioned, watching the blonde who had stopped at the top of the stairs, hugging herself. "Doctor, he can't be dead?"
The Time Lord blinked. "What? Dead? " He shook himself slightly. "Yes, yes. Of course, he's dead." He checked his watch. "Right, I've got twelve minutes. That's good."
"Good?" Hollie snapped, spinning. She marched down to come face to face with the Time Lord and she narrowed her eyes up at him. The Doctor blinked still not used to her new height. "How the hell is that at all good?" She questioned studying him closely.
"Oh, you can do loads in twelve minutes." He shrugged casually, stepping away from her. "Suck a mint, buy a sledge, have a fast bath. Come on," he ordered, "the roof."
Hollie shook her but didn't push on further as she followed the Doctor back up the stairs while Rory spoke up:
"We can't leave you here dead."
"Oh, good. Are you in charge now?" The Doctor turned to face him, walking halfway down the stairs towards the human. "So tell me, what are we going to do about Holliaet and Amelia?"
They all looked around, their eyes looking down at the drink the Doctor had got Amelia. "Where did they go?" Amy looked back around as Rory called out to them:
"Amelia? Holliaet?"
"There is no Amelia or Holliaet. From now on, there never was. History is still collapsing." He explained.
Amy shook her head. "But how can we still be here if she's not?"
"You're an anomaly. We all are." The Doctor shrugged. "We're all just hanging on at the eye of the storm. But the eye is closing, and if we don't do something fast, reality will never have happened." He began in the direction they needed to go for the roof. "Today, just dying is a result. Now, come on!"
"You're not going to die," Hollie told the Doctor as she followed closely behind him.
"You just saw me die, Hollie." He countered as they walked down a corridor.
She froze. Hollie— She couldn't remember the last time he called her that unless it as as an introduction to someone... He never called her Hollie. She looked at him pushing it to the back of her head for now as she gave him a pointed look. "You say time can be rewritten."
The Doctor stopped walking and spun around. "There isn't enough time for it to be rewritten." He huffed before glancing over her shoulder. He sighed not hearing three different pairs of footsteps moving. "Come on!" He shouted to them before starting to climb a nearby ladder.
Hollie followed him up with Nova quickly joining the pair, Amy and Rory behind her. The Doctor soniced the hatch open and climbed out.
Hollie looked around the roof with Nova, frowning slightly as her eyes met what looked like the sun lighting up the cloudy sky. Amy and Rory climbed out with the ginger frowning as the sun hit her. "What, it's morning already? How did that happen?"
"History is shrinking." The Doctor huffed moving over to a nearby satellite dish and removing it from the pole. "Is anybody listening to me? The universe is collapsing. We don't have much time left."
"It's not the sun is it?" Hollie guessed.
"But it has to be?" Rory looked at Hollie before looking at the Doctor as he stood on the edge of the building and held the satellite dish up. "What are you doing?"
"Looking for the TARDIS." He replied.
"But the TARDIS exploded."
"Okay then, I'm looking for an exploding TARDIS." He corrected himself.
"I don't understand." Amy shook her head at the Doctor as she tried to understand. "So, the TARDIS blew up and took the universe with it. But why would it do that? How?"
"Good question for another day." He waved off. "The question for now is, total event collapse means that every star in the universe never happened. Not one single one of them ever shone because Hollie is right, that is not the sun. So, if all the stars that ever were are gone, then what is that?" He nodded up at the burning yellow ball in the sky. "Like I said, I'm looking for an exploding TARDIS."
"But that's the sun."
The Doctor looked at the human man as he held up his screwdriver to the satellite dish. "Is it? Well, here's the noise that sun is making right now."
They all listened as the TARDIS wheezing played out of the satellite dish. "That's my TARDIS burning up. That's what's been keeping the Earth warm."
Rory squinted his eyes. "Doctor, there's something else."
The Time Lord raised a brow. "Nova, help me boost the signal."
She nodded and brought out her screwdriver. She stepped up on the edge beside the Time Lord, activating her sonic and the voices became clearer.
"I'm sorry, Holliekins." River's voice echoed.
"Sorry Nova." Orion and Cassiopeia's voices mixed with the older blonde women.
"I'm sorry, Holliekins." River repeated at the same time Orion and Cassiopeia's voices came through:
"Sorry Nova."
"Doctor, that's River, Orion and Cassiopeia," Amy looked between the pair. "How can they be up there?"
"It must be like a recording or something." Rory guessed.
The Doctor lightly hit his head with his screwdriver as he stepped off the edge and back onto the roof. Nova following. "No, it's not. Of course, the emergency protocols. The TARDIS has sealed off the control room and put them into a time loop to save them all. They are right at the heart of the explosion."

Now the big secret I have been keeping for five years has finally come out. It's been so damn tough to keep it to myself.
FINALLY, I can show you the amazing cover for the second book!
The coloured version which you will not see just yet will be the cover because I can't give too many spoilers away at once, I'm not that nice ;) I made the cover myself and if I say so myself I think it's my best work yet, it's beautiful.
