pt 2, ep 4

[as the screen fades from black, now showing the - empty - special room. after a moment, the trainees entered the room from two seperatae doors. this time - there are no chairs or anything in the room, so the trainees either stand up or sit down on the ground.]

[IU then walks into the room through a third door, and the trainees who sat down get up to bow to her.]

💬 IU | mc / judge :
⠀ No, you can sit! I'm going to talk for a bit, so please sit back down, okay? It's okay!

[the trainees replied with soft "okays", before they sat back down.]

💬 IU | mc / judge :
⠀ First off, uh, sorry for you guys not having any chairs! Some of the chairs ended up breaking when they were being moved, they were low-quality fold chairs so I mean it makes sense!

💬 IU | mc / judge :
⠀ And we're currently trying to get better chairs, so that they - well, wont break!

💬 IU | mc / judge :
⠀ But I hope you'll survive for now!

[the trainees chuckled lightly, a few of them also saying something along the lines of"its okay!"]

💬 IU | mc / judge :
⠀ Anyways, you're all here to, finally, get to meet the mentors!

💬 IU | mc / judge :
⠀ You will then get to go back to your respective areas to keep training, and the mentors will be walking in to help you and give you feedback!

💬 IU | mc / judge :
⠀ So, we will start with one half of the mentors, one vocal-, one dance- and one rap mentor!

💬 IU | mc / judge :
⠀ They're going to come in one by one, then they'll stand here - next to me. Okay?

[the trainees nodded.]

💬 IU | mc / judge :
⠀ Now, if you want to you can stand up - but sitting down is okay too. 

[almost all the trainees got up, but a few stayed sitting down.]

[after a short while, the door was opened and the first mentor walked in through the door.]

[they bowed to the trainees, and the trainees quickly bowed back - the majority already .]

⠀ Hello! I'm WENDY, the main vocalist of Red Velvet! 

💬 Kit Heo | Love Zone trainee, #01 :
⠀ Oh, woah... damn...

[other trainees, as well as IU and WENDY, chuckled at their reaction.]

[WENDY smiled and nodded towards Kit, who practically died. ri was a huge reveluv, and ris ult bias just happens to be Wendy.]

⠀ Anyways! None of you have to use those long honorifics, just call me unnie or something, and everythings okay! 

[the trainees nodded, smiling at the idol with big smiles on their faces.] 

[WENDY walked and stood next to IU, and after just a few seconds, the second mentor came crashing in through the door.]

💬 LISA | dance mentor :
⠀ Sorry unnie! So sorry! 

[almost all trainees can be heard either yelping - because they watched youth with you, they know how scary she can be - or letting out loving sighs.]

[but LISA isn't turned towards the trainees, she's facing the door which she just came tumbling out of. soon enough, she closes the door and faces the trainees]

⠀ Sooo! Hey! I'm Lalisa Manoban of BLACKPINK, but most of you probably know me as LISA! I'm also a mentor on Youth With You and, uh, yeah!

💬 LISA | dance mentor :
⠀ And, yeah, right! I'm one of the dance mentors, nice to meet you!

💬 LISA | dance mentor :
⠀ Uh, also, I wasn't supposed to come out second, it's supposed to be vocal, rap and then dance, but I thought they said it was go time for me, but it was go time for the rap mentor, and yeah, sorry!

💬 Zhong Yueqing | Friend Zone trainee, #23 :

💬 Celine Hwang | Friend Zone trainee, #20 :

[the camera zooms in on Zhong Yueqing and Celine Hwang, the two were having a whisper conversation that - apperantly - wasn't that silent.]

💬 LISA | dance mentor :
⠀ Yall are scared? Why?

💬 Zhong Yueqing | Friend Zone trainee, #23 :
⠀ Nothing, sunbaenim! Well, yeah, no, it's something, but nothing you have to care about... yeah, no, it's nothing... yeah...

💬 LISA | dance mentor :
⠀ There were way to many 'yeah' and 'no's in that sentence, but aye! Come on! And don't be so uptight with the honorifics, Lisa works just fine!

💬 Zhong Yueqing | Friend Zone trainee, #23 :
⠀ Well then, uh, sunb- Lisa, it was just like... y'know, second mission! Scary!

💬 LISA | dance mentor :
⠀ Mhm? Okay then.

💬 IU | mc / judge :
⠀ Lisa-ssi! Stop scaring my children!

[IU, jokingly, glared at LISA]

💬 LISA | dance mentor :
⠀ Unnie, I wasn't scaring them!

💬 IU | mc / judge :
⠀ Uh, yeah you were!

[Jieun and Lisa chuckled, and Lisa walked over to the other two.]

[after a minute or so, the door opened again.]

[this time, a tall person with short hair walked out and a few of trainees let out small gasps.]

💬 K LU | rap mentor :
⠀ Hey! Uh... I'm one of the rap mentors!

💬 K LU | rap mentor :
⠀ I'm a member of the group FANXYRED and a member- a former member of THE9!

💬 K LU | rap mentor :
⠀ One thing before I like... I don't know, just one thing, yeah?

[the trainees nodded.]

💬 K LU | rap mentor :
⠀ I just have to complement the group of four who did my song, our song, during the first mission! You literally did really well, and I'm very happy to see... well, to see my group's song performed! 

[the trainees turned to look at the four trainees, Liang Mingyue, Kit Heo, Fang Huiyi and Liu Mingxia. the four had gigantic smiles on their faces and bowed towards their idol.]

[Fang Huiyi can be seen lightly punching Liang Mingyue in the side, before whispering something to them with a big smile on their face.]

💬 Liang Mingyue | Love Zone trainee, #10 :
⠀ Uh... I... thank you! Thank you so much sunbaenim! It means a lot for us to hear that, yeah, thank you!

💬 K LU | rap mentor :
⠀ Don't call me sunbae! Keran, Keke, Jie, noona, unnie? Okay? Anything, yall!

[K LU started with directing it towards Liang Mingyue, but then - at saying unnie - she turned towards everyone, to let them know that she didn't care too much for the fancy 'titles'. they wanted to be seen as the trainees friend, not a higher mythical being or something like that.]

💬 K LU | rap mentor :
⠀ But, eh, you're welcome! Keep up the good work, guys! 

[Keran then walked and stood next to Lisa, who seemed to be whispering another apology to her.]

[within just a few seconds, the door opened again and the second vocal mentor walked out, holding their hands up like in the Elmo hell meme.]

[microseconds after the door had opened multiple excited squeals could be heard. one of the alliances, who were sitting with each other, was practically dead.]

💬 BAEKHYUN | vocal mentor :
⠀ Hello! I'm Byun Baekhyun of the boy group EXO! 

💬 BAEKHYUN | vocal mentor :
⠀ I'm going to be the second vocal mentor, and I really look forward to being here, with you all. I really think we're gonna' get along nicely!

[he smiled, which made alliance six almost pass out. imagine being that close to someone from your ult group? even better - or worse - when that someone is your ult bias.]

⠀ Wait a minute, you three! Your alliance was, uh, that we, EXO I mean, are your role models? Right?

💬 Chen Haiyún | Love Zone trainee, #34 :

[Baekhyun smiled towards the trio, who practically passed away. he then bowed towards all the trainees and walked up to stand next to Lu Keran.]

[the door then opened again, and another mentor walked out.]

⠀ Hey! I'm Mingi of ATEEZ, and I'm the second rap mentor!

💬 Arson Hwa | Love Zone trainee, #26 :

💬 Li Hui / Lee Sunoo | Love Zone trainee, #25 :

[the two KQ trainees, Arson Hwa and Li Hui, quietly whispered to each other.]

[the two looked at each other with scared expressions on their faces, and Marie Ahn proceeded to lightly punch Arson Hwa in the arm. Celine Hwang, the fourth and last KQ trainee of the show, also tensed up.]

💬 MINGI | rap mentor :
⠀ You know, you four being on this show and, like, thinking that we'd just let you go alone? Nu-uh! We swore that, if any of our children were to be on a show - one of us would manage to get on there too!

💬 MINGI | rap mentor :
⠀ We cant just let you lot gay around without supervision, can we now? 

[the four KQ trainees looked at each other, before looking at Mingi.]

[the screen then cut to a MINGI solo cut.]

💬 MINGI | rap mentor :
⠀ I'm very excited to be here! Trying to teach trainees stuff is honestly so fun? And, of course, helping them improve is really great.

⠀ Is there any reason in particular you wanted to be here? Usually, we're the ones reaching out  to idols, but your CEO specifically reached out to us this time!

⠀ Well... four of the KQ fellaz are going to be on this show and, well, we - ATEEZ, our group, I mean - have said that if any of our children, aka the KQ fellaz, are on a survival show, we'll try our best to be there too!

⠀ Sure... I mean, it's more just to mess with them, but yeah also to take care of them. Arson Hwa and Marie Ahn, for example. Those two gays need both protection and someone to properly mess with them.

⠀ And like, how's the token straight of those four gonna survive if we don't keep the other at bay?

⠀ And, I mean, since Arson stopped being our background dancer I havent gotten time to properly mess with them, so I guess that's also why I'm here.

⠀ And Hui, that little rat, needs someone to make sure they don't let people walk all over them. Like, Sunoo-yah, you can rap! Stop being so modest!

💬 MINGI | rap mentor :
⠀ And, of course, if anyone misgenders any of our children - I can assure you there will be a strongly worded message from, well, probably every single member of our team and Gyuwook-nim too. 

[with MINGI showing off a big smile, the solo cut faded away and the Special Room with the trainees and mentors was back on screen.]

💬 Arson Hwa | Love Zone trainee, #26 :

⠀ Yeah! You should be!

[Mingi laughs and Arson shakes their head, Mingi then walks over and stands next to Baekhyun. the older looking at Mingi, slightly frightened.]

[after a minute or so, the door opens again and a pretty tall person dressed completely in black - the last mentor - walks in to the room.]

[as the dance mentor walked in, the screen showed one of the trainees who'd been standing up. she stared at the mentor with big eyes, before then sitting down on the ground and starting to cry.]

[the trainees looked from her, to the mentor, then back at her - whilst the trainees next to her quickly sat down to try and calm her down.]

[the mentor stood there, scratching the back of their head.]

💬 THE8 | dance mentor :
⠀ I mean, this wasn't how I pictured this goin-

💬 Xu Chunhua | Love Zone trainee, #09 :
⠀Oh my god, Gege?! Yah! Why- How- Why... gege!
gege = older brother, basically

[the trainee who'd been crying, Xu Chunhua, had gotten up from the floor and was drying her cheeks whilst still crying.]

[she walked up to the last mentor, THE8, hit him on the chest a couple of times before wrapping her arms around him and hugging him. the SEVENTEEN member smiled and looked up at the floor, blinking away tears, as he hugged the trainee.]

⠀ Hi, meimei... 
meimei = younger sister, basically

[the majority other people in the room - trainees, mentors and Jieun - were holding back tears as they looked at the siblings.]

💬 Xu Chunhua | Love Zone trainee, #09 :

[the content then speeds up, of course producers wouldnt interrupt the siblings - they may be currently working under MNET, but they have a heart! you don't interrupt a set of siblings meeting up again after four years, you just dont.]

[soon enough, Xu Chunhua took a step back and walked back to the trainees, where Everly Hong hugged her.]

[THE8 cleared his throat before drying his cheeks and fixing his shirt.]

💬 THE8 | dance mentor :
⠀ Hello! I'm Xu Minghao, also known as THE8, and I'm a lead dancer of SEVENTEEN, and here on CRUSH I'm one of the two dance mentors!

💬 THE8 | dance mentor :
⠀ I guess, uh, Xu Chunhua is my younger sister and I haven't seen that little bastard in like four years so... yeah, sorry..?

[IU was drying her own tears from watching the whole interaction whilst she spoke, and the other trainees and mentors all nodded.]

[as THE8 walked over to stand next to the other trainees the screen then fades to black, and an ad then starts to play.]
