episode 5
part one 

lets go !

[just after the episode has started, a date shows up on screen; March 9. then, words plop up on the screen, "first, let's check out the love zone!"]

[right after this, the love zone dorms show up on screen.]

[the Hwang sisters, along with Mei, Aria, Wendy, Rebecca and Chunhua, were located in the kitchen area of the dorm. it's not really possible to see exactly what they're doing because of there being quite a few people packed into the not-huge area.]

💬 Hwang Hyebin | Love Zone trainee, #7 :
⠀ Okay, okay, is it done?

💬 Xu Chunhua | Love Zone trainee, #15 :
⠀ Yes!

[Hyerim, the older Hwang sister, walked over to the "living/dining room" area of the dorm, where a whole lot of the other Love Zone trainees were located.]

[the kitchen trainees walked to the area of the dorm, where now most of the Love Zone trainees were gathered.]

[with that, the group walked up into one of the dorm rooms, slowly opened the door and... started sining the happy birthday song!]

[Daeun, who'd been almost asleep in one of the beds sat right up and stared at the other trainees gathered in the little bedroom. Yesol, who'd been standing among the other trainees, looked at the others in shock when they sang "and Yesol"]

[as the two trainees, the newly turned 19 Daeun and the turned-18-a-few-days-ago Yesol, were being celebrated the screen faded to black, then the Friend Zone dorms faded in.]

💬 Huang Yue | Friend Zone trainee, #28 :
⠀ Do you have the American muffins?

💬 Xiao Liqiu | Friend Zone trainee, #41 :

[Liqiu held up a small plate with a few american muffins, and the other trainees in the kitchen area cheered.]

[all the Friend Zone trainees, well almost all of them, then got together in front of the door to one of the bedrooms before lightly knocking on the door. since there was no reply, they opened the door, filled the room and started singing the happy birthday song.]

[Dabin, the birthday-child in person, started laughing, and the other Friend Zone trainees joined in. then, the view moved to an overview of the kitchen and living/dining room area and the footage speed up.]

[dates then showed up on screen, starting at march 9th and stopping once it reached march 13th.]

[then, the camera showed the corridor between the Love Zone and Friend Zone dormitories, as speakers played a little intro tune before the sound of IU clearing her throat could be heard.]

[IU laughed, before seemingly shaking her head as there were rustling sounds.]

⠀ So, lovers, do you lot remember the way to the special room?

💬 IU | mc / judge :
⠀ I wont hear your answers, but I hope you do! If you don't... you can simply ask staff! They're all willing to help!~

💬 MARK | judge / co-host :
⠀ Anyhow, when you get to that corridor where that room was, you wait there for me and Jieun-noona... and then, well, the rest'll be explained there really. 

💬 IU | mc / judge :
⠀ Well then, you should get moving by... eh, 10 o'clock!

💬 MARK | judge / co-host :
⠀ See you soon, lovers~

[soon, as the clock probably hit 10am, the trainees from both the Love and Friend Zone started walking through the big doors.]

[a camera filmed them leave that corridor, and it then switched to a different camera in a different corridor. a few moments later, that corridor was filled by the forty-eight trainees of CRUSH.]

[then, when they were all gathered in the corridor, Mark and IU walked in though different intersecting corridors.]

⠀ Well, hello there!

[the trainees smiled, and most of them either said hello back or laughed.]

💬 MARK | judge / co-host :
⠀ Friend Zone trainees? Come with me!

💬 IU | mc / judge :
⠀ And Love Zone lovelies? You come with me!

[the twins hugged, before the Love Zone and Friend Zone trainees separated and walked along with either IU or Mark.

the screen split into two, one following the Friend Zone trainees with Mark and the other one following the Love Zone trainees with IU.

as the two groups walked through different doors, the camera view shifted. one showed the Friend Zone group and the other showed the Love Zone group, both in nearly identical rooms. the Friend Zone part of the screen got bigger, and as Mark and IU started talking ; the Love Zone part with IU was muted.]

💬 MARK | judge / co-host :
⠀ So, okay, today we'll be making the teams for our third mission!

[a few of the trainees let out small gasps, and a few others let out "ooo"s]

💬 MARK | judge / co-host :
⠀ And how will we be doing that? 

[a quiet "i dunno" was heard, and then quiet chuckles from the other trainees.]

💬 MARK | judge / co-host :
⠀ Iseul-ah, control your kids~

[Mark then also laughed, before shaking his head and continuing the explanation]

💬 MARK | judge / co-host :
⠀ Anywaysz, the teams! So, I hope you guys know the people you're sharing bedrooms with.. because that'll be kind of important for this!

💬 MARK | judge / co-host :
⠀ You see this like... wall behind me?

[Mark pointed towards a blue-esc wall a little bit behind him which had eight fancy-rectangle-esc shaped holes in it, and the trainees nodded.]

💬 MARK | judge / co-host :
⠀ Almost all of you guys will be located in one the room opposite to this one, but one person from each bedroom will be in the room next to this one searching through photos... of the other two in their room. 

💬 MARK | judge / co-host :
⠀ That, of course, means that this person will have to run back and forth between the rooms to try and find the right pictures. 

💬 MARK | judge / co-host :
⠀ Then, when a room has finished finding the pictures, they'll go put up their picture frame-thing in the first available spot, so if you finish first you'll put your frame in the first spot, and yeah you get it!

💬 MARK | judge / co-host :
⠀ The rest of the team-making will be explained after this has been done!

[the trainees nodded; some clearly excited, and others looking kind of scared.

then, Mark led the trainees out from that room into one of two rooms opposite the one they'd just been in. there, the Friend Zone trainees separated into groups of three and seemingly were discussing who'd be the photo-collector and which ones would stay behind and wait.]

💬 MARK :
⠀ When you're done with the, uh, deciding... i dunno, put your hands up? Or something?

[the trainees either nodded, chuckled or just said yes.]

💬 MARK :
⠀ Great!

[soon, all the trainees had their hands in the air and the "designated collectors" were ready to go find their bedroom-members photos. Mark opened the doors to the room, looked at the trainees and....

💬 MARK :
⠀ You are free to... run!

[as the photo-collectors ran towards the door, the screen "got stuck" and it started loading... ugh, your wifi is crap]
