Cancer's POV

I was strolling down the great hall looking for a familiar face because for some odd reason, Pisces wasn't anywhere to be seen, I worry for that boy sometimes, he's someone who could be easily kidnapped. And Scorpio is too busy living the dark academia life and reading Frankenstein for the 7 billionth time, plus he's not the nicest person in the mornings so whatever.

Looking around as discreetly as I could, I noticed seated at the farthest end of the long table was the girl from the station, I couldn't remember her name but she appeared to be in need of company. She seemed fun, I have to admit I was impressed the other day when she stood up to Scorpio.

Feeling social for once, I walked up to her with a calculated smile, tapping her lightly on the shoulder.

She tilted her head upwards, her brown eyes filled with confusion. She examined me and seemed to pause for a while, her brows knitted together in deep thought. I stared at her amused.

Her eyes finally lit up in recognition. "You're the angel who saved me from that devil back at the station."

I couldn't help but laugh out loud at that, how direct

Regaining my composure, I replied "Funny you should say that because I remember Scorpio calling you a she-devil not long ago," I reply with a smirk

She frowns at the mention of his name but recovers and extends her hand, with a bright smile, she introduces herself "I'm Taurus,"

I take her hand softly and instead of shaking it as she expected, I bring it to my lips, gently kissing the smooth skin.

I inspect her face through my lashes and find her blushing, her face full of surprise

I've never seen a person turn this red this fast

I let go of her hand and smirked "Cancer,"

Her mouth made an O-shape and she looked as if I've stupefied her. I chuckled internally        
How adorable

"So, can I sit here?" I asked with a raised eyebrow

"Ye-es, of course..." she replied dazedly

I took the seat beside her, close but not touching.

"So Taurus, what brings you here so early in the morning?" I ask, looking at her sideways, face in my palm while resting my elbow on the table.
She won't meet my eyes

"Umm well, yesterday I was very tired after dinner and went to bed early, so today I woke up at the crack of dawn which is a rare occurrence for me. I looked around for my roommate, Virgo, who I knew should be up by now but she was nowhere to be found... " She rambled on. I could see she was quite comfortable talking to me as she went on, her initial shyness fading away as her brown eyes shined in the dim light of the chandelier. She became more animated with her movements, and her face reflected all of her emotions.

She seems like someone who wears her heart on her sleeve

I listened to her as she spoke and as I had predicted she was sitting here and feeling lonely, I felt glad that I made the decision to approach her, She's cute, I internally mused

"Cancer, Cancer..." I heard, a hand came into my line of vision, waving in front of me, getting me out of my stupor.

I jerked my head up "huh"

Taurus was looking at me with concern
"You zoned out there for a second," she chuckled

I blushed in embarrassment but controlled it when I realized I was doing so.

Taurus stared at me, I could detect that she was intrigued, I have to change the topic

I cast my eyes downward and subtly inspected the book in front of her, she followed my eyes, her hand moved to remove the object but I was quicker.

"Accio!" It flew and fell right into my hands.
I smirked

"Hey give that back," Taurus whined
I like it when she begs

"Hmm..." I put my finger on my chin as if contemplating

"No!"

I looked down at the book, my back turned to Taurus who was trying to retrieve it but to no success.
I looked at the cover
"Taurus' cookbook of delicious treats"
I was surprised to say the least, I expected a diary or journal

While I was distracted Taurus managed to get the book from me, her lips forming a pout, the sight of which made my heart stutter.

"You like cooking?" I asked earnestly

"Yes" she sighed after a while

I opened my mouth to say something but then she asked "What do you like to do in your free time?"

I brought my right hand up, inspecting my nails
"I like matchmaking." I replied easily

"Matchmaking," she said warily

"That reminds of that character from that book whose title was the name of the character in which she meddled in other people's lives..." she started rambling again and it was fun to watch her do so

"Hmm are you talking about 'Emma'?" I said with a smile

"Yes yes that one!" She replied excitedly but calm in a manner, her presence is just so comfortable

I smirked "So you're calling me conceited and self absorbed?" I teased her looking offended

She panicked "Noo...of course not!"
Then softly "It's just that Emma was described as really pretty and so are you," she finished looking away.

I couldn't help but blush outwardly, nothing which I couldn't control though.

I plastered my signature smirk and looked at her face to find her staring the other way, but as I did so I noticed two people in the background

As much as I enjoyed Taurus' company, I couldn't help but let my curiosity get the best of me so I got up off my seat, and bent down to gently tip Taurus' chin upwards, meeting her eyes. I tucked a strand of hair behind her ear as I smirked at her dazed expression.

"Well, it looks like it's time for me to leave." I said easily and strutted my way towards where I saw Goshwick and his little friend

I could feel her gaze on my back as I walked

Gemini's POV

"Bye Sagittarius," I waved at her with a bored expression. I have to admit the time spent with Sagittarius wasn't bad nor was the shrieking shack but you'll have to make me the king of the entire wizarding world to make me go there again.

I really want to take a shower now

"Well, well Gemini Goshwick," Clearwater's perfectly practiced taunting voice reached my ears

"Cheating on your girlfriend with her bestfriend, I knew you were a player but even I didn't expect this from you," She continued in her fake disappointed voice

I sighed but met her with a fake smile of my own "Oh! how highly you think of me but Aquarius is not my girlfriend," I said in all my fake niceness

She smirked victoriously "I didn't even mention Aquarius' name," my eye twitched in irritation at the slip up

"Well you always try to set me up with Aquarius in one way or another so i figured it was her you were talking about," I rationalized

She sighed and almost looked sincere when she asked "Gemini where are you going anyway?" Almost

Changing the topic huh, she even used my first name

"Ravenclaw common room ," I said without glancing back at her.

Near the fireplace in the dim lighting I found Aquarius sleeping. She looked peaceful but I cringed when I noticed the awkward way her neck was placed. I gently shook her but she didn't even budge.

I sighed and tried again. After the third time, I decided to play dirty. I brought my mouth near her ear and gently whispered "I got coffee!" she shivered
"Mmm where?"

"I'll tell you if you wake up,"

I saw her blink and tilt her head to stare at me.

She looked confused for a few seconds, having just woke up, but she quickly put the pieces together and glared at me. How lovely

"GEMINI!"

I'm back after a year yay!
The chapter is a little short but I'll try to make them longer. Oh and remember how I said no lgbt, well 2021 me is better and there is definitely going to be lgbt.

I kind forgot the plot I was going for but I have so many new ideas. I might change things but I didn't write too much last year so I'm not going to change the earlier chapters but if I do I'll let you know. This story is going to be way different but I hope you'll stick around.
