The Hogwarts Express acts as a mode of transport for the students from London's King's Cross Station to the Hogsmede station. It makes this run 6 times a year at the start and end of every term. On September 1, the train leaves platform 9 3/4 at 11 am sharp for its journey to Hogsmeade station. Though the train appears to run on steam, but in actuality it exclusively does on magic.

The slytherin compartment

Scorpio's POV

I was looking out the window as the scenery changed in front of my eyes. My mind was currently filled with certain thoughts. I was thinking about that wicked girl I met at the train station. Pisces said her name was Taurus, even hearing her name makes my blood boil. How dare she talk to me like that after all she was the one who crashed into me.

"Hey Scorp" I heard a familiar voice. I turned my head away from the window and came face to face with Cancer, her green eyes concerned. "Were you zoning out like Pisces too? Cause I was calling you for quite a while" she said "Huh, did you say something Can?" Pisces asked at that very moment , clearly in his own world. I laughed and ruffled Pisces' hair while Cancer just shook her head but there was a small smile on her face too. "No Pisces, I just wanted to know what was going on in Scorp's pretty head" Cancer answered to Pisces.

Pisces and Cancer than both faced me expecting an answer "Nothing, just wondering when we'll get to Hogwarts", I lied through my teeth. Cancer smirked "Really, or were you thinking about how you were ridiculed by that girl at the station?" she asked teasingly and Pisces giggled beside me. My face instantly turned red "Do not talk about that she-devil in my presence" I said angrily. Cancer's smirk grew bigger if that's possible "As you wish" she stated simply.

I just want to wipe that smirk off her face.

Than a light bulb seemed to glow over my head and an idea came to me. When Cancer turned away from me, I quickly took out my wand and without anyone noticing, mumbled "Silencio" under my breath and watched her face carefully.

After sometime Cancer faced me again and looked like she was about to say something but was unable to speak because her tongue was stuck to the roof of her mouth . She was confused for a minute but than glared at me. I laughed, that's what she gets for teasing me like that."Hey Cancer did you SAY something?" I asked smirking. Her face became red and she was pouting.

Pisces than seemed to understand what's happening. "Not again" he shook his head "Scorp why do you always gotta use magic?" he questioned "Because its fun" I simply answered, he smiled at that. "It sure is but you shouldn't use it on Can to get revenge" he told me. "But it's funny " I said. He did not seem amused "Oh c'mon Pisces, you've to admit it's a little funny" I said pointing at Cancer.

He looked over at Cancer and was really trying hard to fight back his giggles but was failing miserably. Cancer's cheeks were red and she had her bottom lip out pouting like a kid. "Okay.. okay, I'm fine now" Pisces said composing himself but still smiling. "Scorp, let Cancer speak" Pisces said with authority but I could hear the silliness in his voice.

I looked over at Cancer smugly "Hmm...lemme think, I guess you've served your punishment" I than took out my wand again and said "Finite Incatatem" which seemed to do the trick as Cancer instantly sighed and started yelling at us.

Meanwhile

The Gryffindor compartment

Sagittarius' POV

Leo, Aires and I were talking about how we spent our breaks. "...and than Sag screamed like a little kid" Aires filled in Leo about an incident which happened back at home. Leo laughed "Wow Sag thought you were tougher than that" Leo said teasingly. "I was just surprised" I defended myself. "Yeah, sure" Aires said sarcastically. I just rolled my eyes.

"Hey! Don't roll your eyes at me young lady" Aires said in a demanding tone. "Whatever you say dad" I replied giving him a scornful smile. He just looked at me and shook his head.

We than heard Leo erupting in a fit of giggles "Oh, how much did I miss you both" Leo said wiping a fake tear. I chuckled, does he always have to be so dramatic?

"Very much" Aires said replying to Leo "yeah Leo what did you even do without us both?" I added teasingly.

We talked for quite sometime and than I realised I was craving coffee. Now, I would've gotten up and made myself coffee but my wand was in my bag and I didn't wanna get up, not because I'm lazy but because if I did than Leo would take my seat by the window and I really didn't wanna give up my seat. So the only thing I could do was call Aquarius. I would've texted her but the chances of her seeing the text is 0.

I took out my phone and searched for Aquarius in my contacts. "Who are you calling?" Leo asked "Aqua" I replied meeting his eyes. "Why?" He questioned, his eyebrows knitted. "I'm craving coffee" I stated simply. Aires than looked at me incredulously "You're craving coffee...You had like 3 cups at the station". "So?" I asked, bored. I really need coffee. He just shook his head. He seems to do that a lot

I hit call and waited for Aquarius to pick up. After sometime she finally did. I sighed "What took you so long? I'm dying here without coffee!" I exclaimed. "Hello to you too Sag" Aquarius replied sarcastically. "Heh, sorry I'm in desperate need of coffee" I said sheepishly "you understand right?" I added. She sighed " I do...but can't you make it yourself and plus didn't you have like 3 cups at the station". I gasped "You're turning into Aires" "I'm what?" I could hear Aqua's voice laced with confusion.

From the corner of my eye I saw Aires look at me with a raised eyebrow, I just waved my hand at him, dismissively. He gave me one last look and looked away.

"Nothing, I'll tell you later" I replied "but please Aqua, get me some coffee" I said in a baby voice. Aqua chuckled "Fine, I might get some for myself too" She said. "Yay! Thanks, you're my saviour", I heard another chuckle "Yeah,yeah whatever...bye" "bye" and she hung up.

I sighed.
Now all I've to do is wait for Aquarius.

Ravenclaw compartment

Libra's POV

I am so bored

I love Gem and Aqua but sometimes, they can be such a bore. I mean we're here together after a long time and all they both wanna do is read.

Don't get me wrong, I love reading myself but we have this wonderful oppurtunity to bond, why not use it.

I than had an idea.
I took out my wand and mumbled "Relashio" and the books fell out of their hands. Gemini and Aquarius both picked up their respective publications and looked at me. "Why did ya do that Lib?...'twas getting good" Aqua whined."Yeah I was reading that" Gemini complained.

I felt my temper rising which doesn't happen often. "because we're together after a long time and instead of spending this time together, you both are engrossed in you own tales" I stated. "You both live nearby so you got to see each other but I missed you both the whole break" I than spoke softly looking at my lap.

I suddenly felt a warm body against mine. I looked up and found Aquarius hugging me tightly. "I'm really sorry Lib" she apologised sincerely. I felt another warm body on the other side "Yeah, we're sorry and we missed you a lot too" Gemini hummed in my ear. Gem than pulled away and a smile made way to his face.

"Why don't we watch that film you and Aqua were talking about at the station" he suggested with a smile. Aqua looked up with excitement in her eyes "That's actually a great idea Gem" she said slowly with a hint of surprise. "What do you mean 'actually'? I have alot of great ideas" Gemini defended himself.

I broke in before these two start an all out war "That sounds awesome Gem and I really wanted to hear what you thought about it Aqua...and you too Gemini" I said with a chuckle, trying to lighten the mood.

Thankfully, the tension dissolved and we proceeded to watch the film. I took out my laptop and sat in between the two and the movie played with us three often making witty comments and laughing our asses out.

In the middle of the film, Aqua's phone buzzed. She groaned and picked it up as I paused the film. I could hear Sagittarius' voice on the other end, something bout coffee, I chuckled she must be a coffee addict too.

Aquarius got off the phone and sighed "Sag needs coffee so I gotta get her some" she stated. "Can't she get it herself?" Gemini asked irritated. "No, something bout Leo stealing her seat or something...I don't even know" She said but than smiled "Though, coffee actually sounds good...do you both want some?"

I smiled too "Yes please", we both than turned to Gemini who looked...constipated "Aquarius Elenor Adelson, you've already had like 4 cups at the station, are you trying to kill yourself?" He asked incredulously.

My eyes widened 4 cups, Wow

I looked at Aquarius and laughed "How can you drink that much coffee?" I questioned. She smiled "Coffee is kinda my fuel" she stated. "Yeah and too much fuel can make a machine malfunction" Gemini said sarcastically. "Whatever" Aquarius said, and proceeded to prepare her coffee.

Apparently she always had some coffee beans and disposable cups on her. Once again wow.

"There you go Lib" she said as she passed me a brown cup with a lid. As soon as I held the cup, warmth enveloped me, the coffee was steaming hot. "Thanks Aqua" I smiled at her. She returned my smile "No problem" and later added "I gotta go, get this to Sag, I'll be back in a few" She said and went out the door.

I looked at Gem and he stared back "Let's resume the film" he said with a devilish smile "No Gem, we gotta wait for Aqua" I told him solemnly. He groaned "Ugh fine" I grinned at that.

We were just talking casually when he asked me a question which caught me off guard ."How do you know Aires?" I was a little suprised to say the least. "Why do you ask?" I questioned his question. "Just curious" he said, his smirk evident."Well, I met him last year in the library, he was cussing very loudly because he was failing Muggle History" I chuckled and than continued "I decided to help him out and than we became friends somehow" I smiled. "Oh" that's all Gemini said and than silence surrounded us which didn't remain for too long as Gem said "Now can we play the movie?" he asked like a kid with a toothy grin "No and showing your teeth isn't gonna work"

Meanwhile

Aquarius' POV

I was on my way to Sagittarius' compartment when I came across the trolley witch and decided to get something to eat. I was looking at the various treats displayed and was contemplating what to get when I heard two familiar voice speak beside me. "What do you wanna get Pisces?" Carmichael I instantly recognized. "I'll have 2 pumpkin pasties and 1 of those choclate frogs please" That is definitely Polkiss.

"Pisces, didn't know you ate that much" I said interrupting them,"Gee Adelson, eavesdrop much?" Capricorn said sarcastically, I just ignored him. Pisces finally looked at me and recognition filled his eyes "Oh hey Aqua, nice to see you" he said with his trademark grin. "Oh and it's all not for me, those pumpkin pasties are for Scorpio and Cancer" he said Who's Cancer? "Oh" I said and later added "Nice to see you too and speaking of him, how is Shacklebolt?"

That's when Carmichael butted in "He's good, he got roasted by Taurus at King's Cross station" he said smirking. Pisces giggled and I couldn't help but do too.
Scorpio the high and mighty bad boy of Hogwarts got roasted by a girl, amusing.
"Really?" I asked, "Yeah, 'twas hilarious" Pisces said in between giggles.

That's when I heard the trolley witch cough "Do you want anything else?" I realised I haven't got anything yet "I'll get 2 Cauldron cakes and 1 licorice wand" Capricorn said. "Ummm...I'll have Bertie Bott's every flavour beans...ooh and Drooble's best blowing gum, 2 pumpkin pasties and 1 licorice wand" Lib and Gem might want something too so I got pumpkin pasties for Lib and Sag and the licorice wand is for Gem. There you go she said handing us our treats as we passed her the money.

I than finally greeted Capricorn, "Carmichael" I said extending a hand "Adelson" he said as he took it, that's just the way we greet each other, it's not weird.

"So you both were telling me about how Shacklebolt got defamed" I said returning back to the conversation we were having "Yeah so what happened..."

"Wow, I wanna meet Taurus" I said. "I'd introduce you to her but not now cause she's hungry and that's not good" Carmichael stated and than added "Well, bye I'll see you both later" and took his leave. "Bye Capricorn" "Yeah see ya Carmichael".

I looked at Pisces as we walked down the hall "So did ya find any new magical creatures in Esnola Grove?" I asked curious
Esnola Grove is a forest nearby to Pisces' home, I once went there with him, it is filled with magical creatures and not to mention is extremely beautiful.

"Yeah and I'm dying to tell you about it" he said excitedly. I really wanted to know what peculiar creature Pisces found but I had get the coffee to Sag so I decided against it."Sorry Pisce, I would love to hear about it but I gotta get this coffee to Sag" I said holding up the cup. "Tis okay Aqua, dont worry and by the way how is Sagittarius?" He asked
such a ray of sunshine.

"She's good, a bit coffee deprived but good nonetheless" he laughed at that "Yeah you better get it to her than" he said with a grin "Bye Pisce" "Bye".

After parting ways from Pisces, I finally reached Sagittarius' compartment and knocked. Leo opened the door "Oh thank God you're here...with the coffee" he said with a sigh and let me in. Sag's eyes instantly lit up "FINALLY" I just chuckled at her.

Meanwhile

Pisces' POV

After separating from Aquarius, I made my way back to our compartment and knocked.
Cancer opened the door and I walked in "What took you so long?" Scorp asked. "I met Capricorn on the way and than when we got to the trolley witch we were met by Aquarius" I told them. "Adelson?" Scorp questioned "Yeah" I simply answered. Scorp nodded.

I than remembered "Oh here you go, your pumpkin pasties" i said handing Cancer the treats as I sat down. "Thanks Pisce" she smiled. "I'm hungry Cancer, hurry" Scorp said. "There's a choclate frog, that's for me" I informed her.

After devouring our treats, we were pleasantly talking.

"Hey Scorp" Cancer addressed him "Yeah"
"How do you know Capricorn?" She inquired. I was intrigued too, Scorp never mentioned him. "He's just an old friend" Scorpio said dissmively. "How come you never mentioned him" I asked. "I didn't think it was necessary?". Than Cancer's eyes widened "He's your drug dealer, isn't he?" she asked but I could hear the playfulness in her voice.

We both looked at Scorpio, waiting for him to say something. He hit Cancer on the head lightly "Are you crazy? Do you really think I do drugs?". Me and Cancer both burst out laughing, he though she was serious. Scorp's got this bad boy image and everything but we know he doesn't do drugs.

"I was just kidding Scorp" Cancer said with a smile. Scorpio than sighed "I knew you were joking, I was just playing along" he said, his cheeks flushed. "Whatever you say Scorp" I simply said. "I'm not lying" he tried to defend himself.

Scorp than smirked "While we're on the topic, would you like to tell us how you know Virgo, Pisce?" I blushed. I saw Cancer smirk too shit. "Yeah Pisces, how do you know her?" She asked her smirk still evident.

"Well..." so I started recalling what happened that day

*Flashback*

I was in the great hall, looking for a place to sit. I saw a girl sit by herself so I decided to join her. "Hey can I sit here?" I asked politely. "Yeah sure" she said a little hesitant as she looked up and her honey eyes met my green ones.

I was playing with my food, I didn't feel like eating, not after the phone call.

"Hey" I heard the girl call me, I looked up, she seemed a little nervous "I know I don't know you but if you want, you can tell me what's wrong, I promise it'll be between us and when you tell someone else, it makes you feel better, you know takes the load off your shoulders..." she was rambling, I gave her a small smile "Sure" I simply said to stop her rambling.

I took a breath and began "My mum called me a few minutes ago and informed me that...Oliver, my pet owl flew away" I said "I found Oliver about two years ago in Esnola Grove which is a forest near my home, he was wounded so i took him home and treated him...he became one of my best friends from that day on but...now he ran away" I stopped to take a breath "I don't know where he went or if he's alright, what if something happened to him" I asked, my voice strained.

"Hey, hey nothing will happen to him, he'll take care of himself and have you ever heard that quote?" She asked smiling "which one?" I asked, curiously " If you love something, let it go, if it comes back to you than it's yours but if it doesn't than it never was" she said and later added "And I'm sure it will come back to you", her eyes held determination, it seemed that she really believed what she said.

After talking to her I really felt better "Thanks" I said gratefully "No problem" she replied with a cute smile. "Pisces" I said looking at her eyes "Virgo" she beamed.

*End of flashback *

"And after a few days later, my mum called and informed me that Oliver has returned" I smiled as I finished.

Hufflepuff Compartment

Capricorn's POV

I returned to Taurus and Virgo and as soon as I went inside, the food was snatched from my hands by Taurus. "Thanks Cap" she said and proceeded to eat. Virgo shook her head at her and turned to me "What took you so long?" she asked as she unwrapped one of the cauldron cakes and took a bite from it and passed the package.

I smirked "Oh nothing, I just met Pisces on the way" I replied and proceeded to take a bite from my licorice wand. Virgo literally choked but regained herself and 'calmly' said "You did", my smirk grew even bigger "Yeah". Taurus giggled beside me and than feigned disgust "Ew, licorice" how can she not like licorice it's delicious. "Yeah, do you want some?" I asked knowing she would say no. "...No" she replied, still wearing that disgusted face. I chuckled.

Virgo than coughed "So, what did you and Pisces talk about?" she asked acting as she didn't care much, I couldn't help but smirk "Don't worry Virgo we didn't discuss anything about you, I would've loved to tell him about your secret collection of creepy dolls but I refrained" I said teasingly "I didn't mean that and those aren't dolls, they're wax figures which my grandmother gave and they're not creepy". "Sorry V but I'm with Cap on this one, those dolls give me the chills" Taurus chimed in.

"They're not dolls" Virgo repeated exasperated. "So what happened than Cap" Taurus asked me "Well, we didn't chat much and when we finally got to the trolley witch we bumped into Adelson, Aquarius Adelson" I informed them. "Who's she?" Taurus questioned. "Just an acquaintance" I replied more like a rival though.

"Isn't she one of the top students?" Virgo asked, "Yep that's Aquarius" I said taking another bite of my wand. "I know of her, we had Arithmacy together last year" I hummed in response "I don't how she gets such good grades, from what i saw she never really paid attention" i chuckled.
I don't know either

"By the way Taur-" but I trailed off when I saw her face and couldn't stop laughing. "What?" She asked, confused. Virgo than looked at Taurus and shook her head, she took out a handkerchief and wiped Taurus' face. "How many times do I have to remind you that napkins exist Taur?" Virgo said.

I stopped laughing and composed myself and looked at Taurus again. She glared at me but then a look of curiosity crossed her face "What were you saying Cap?" She asked with a tinge of annoyance to her voice. I recalled what I was about to say "Oh Aquarius said she wanted to meet you" I told her.

"Why?" She inquired with a raised eyebrow, I than said with a smile "She wanted to meet the girl who defamed Scorpio Shacklebolt"
