Prologue
"The goddess walks around on land, the goddess is not known to man, she who has died can't be spoken to but, in this day, she's reawakened among mortal fools"
So bored, so bored, so bored, so unbelievably bored. The girl leaning against the gold railing stomped and fumed, puffing out her cheeks so much that her icy pale skin grew red.
She turned quickly jumping down from the gold railing. Being careful enough so she wouldn't fall as a fall from this height, would be a pain in the ass. Ugh she hated falling from the clouds. As she stomped to a touring golden door, she recalled the time when she was younger.
When her and her older brother would run against the railings at that time the beautiful long-haired girl had not thought about falling...... Until ofc she fell face first over the stupid gold beams. she had tried to use her powers to save herself, being a young goddess and all but that was no use she was falling too fast, and she knew this was going to hurt.
Instead, she tried to brace for impact as even though it would hurt, she was immortal and a goddess at that surely a fall from this height wouldn't kill her.
She squeezed her eyes shut BUT just when she thought she'd hit the hard rocky terrain, the wind wrapped around her body, elevating her in the sky and stopping her from falling to a painful doom. Had it been any other day she'd have been surprised but not today. Like every other century or so today was the meeting of the titan gods, which only meant
Anemoi, the wind god
He had saved her; she thanked the heavens, and she viewed the worried floating figure zooming to her hanging body in the air.
That thought made her grimace, she could still hear the lecture her mother had given her and Helios (older brother). It was terrifying, very funny but absolutely terrifying.
She came to a thundering halt in front of the huge gold doors.
And took in her surroundings, the beautiful shimmering solid gold floors, everything in this hallway was lined with gold.
She rolls her eyes slightly thinking 'of course the god of the sun would drown his house in gold so typical '
she laughed silently thinking about how much her older brother loved gold.
Breathing in a sigh and letting out a shaky breath she took in her appearance on the reflective surface by the door.
She was thin, everything about her was small in size, her floor length white hair draped nicely around her icy pale skin, nothing on her body had an ounce of color except for her strawberry kissed lips of course.
There was obvious fear in her eyes as she prepared to walk beyond the door.
She wasn't allowed in, and she was tired of it.
Not wanting to give up she pushes open the big gold doors with a huff, startling the gods and goddesses inside slightly.
Her determined gray eyes scanned the room hurriedly before landing on her confused brother.
"I want my own people", she spoke firmly ignoring the wandering looks as everyone in the room gave their full attention to her.
She was known for drawing attention.
"Selene-", the man at the head of the table stood an annoyed expression clear as day on his face he was ready to shut her motion down.
.But the goddess was quick, she stomped her feet so hard that it sent shockwaves through the gold castle resting on a rather unstable cloud. Her gray eyes zeroed in on her now fuming brother as she once again made her demand.
"Helios, I'm not a child", she started rushing around the room to get to her brother "even Hecate has her own people now", she crossed her arms and stomped once again puffing out her cheeks, "why can't I Heli I wanna I wanna I wanna make my own people", this time tears streamed down her face as she stared into her older brother eyes.
Helios sighs running a flaming hand over his face he gives in, "fine but it's not my choice Cece, its Zeus and if he says no then it's no"
Selene piped up, a huge grin spreading across her breathtaking skin, she squealed, wrapping her thin hands around her brother's neck.
Finally, after years and years she was finally going to be so much more than just the moon goddess.
A very long 100 years later
"This took longer than I thought", Selene whispered, sighing as she recalled all that she had done just to get approval for this.
She sat near the edge of her moon pool, dipping her timid fingers into the flowing water to bless it. Tonight, the moon was at its highest point and that only made her stronger.
Her eyes glowed a bright white as the night sky darkened, the moon pool before her bubbling and lightening up as she dipped deeper into the water. Finally, the water stilled, and her eyes went back to a soft gray and this time when the moon came out it shone a glistening bright blue.
Reaching to her side she took up the wooden wolves and humans she had spent years hand craving. One by one she had made them all, they were all her babies and had she been alone tonight she would have cried but the Olympian gods and goddesses stood merely 10 feet behind her, and she refused to let them see her like that.
She gently put her creations into the now still waters of the moon pool. Standing quickly, she glanced her head to the side where a three faced deity stood looking intently at her motions.
Selene walked to her, reaching a handout for the goddess to take.
She took it and Selene led her to the moon pool.
The moon goddess was breathing timidly, this felt so unreal all of her dreams were coming true.
"Thank you, Hecate,"
The three faced deity still holding her hand gave it a slight squeeze offering reassurance.
Selene breathed one more deep breath before the chanting began.
Her and Hecate weaved their hands together, both of their eyes glowing brightly as the moon pool bubbled over.
"In ancient times at deathly hour, we call upon an ancient power, in darling nights and with flashing light we bless you know our shifter kind"
"เภ คภςเєภt tเ๓єร คt ๔єคtђlא ђ๏ยг, ฬє ςคll ยק๏ภ คภ คภςเєภt ק๏ฬєг, เภ ๔คгlเภﻮ ภเﻮђtร คภ๔ ฬเtђ Ŧlครђเภﻮ lเﻮђt ฬє ๒lєรร א๏ย кภ๏ฬ ๏ยг รђเŦtєг кเภ๔"
As they chanted, they grew louder and louder eventually so loud that their chant echoed through time itself and then everything stopped.
With their eyes still glowing the goddesses stepped back.
And from the moon pool they emerged, Selene's first creations, the first of their kind, the first wolf shifters.
Selene beamed, finally it was her time to lead.
