Mina ended the encore of her concert with a beautiful cover of Day6's "예뻤어"; a song that Haeyoung and Donghyuck enjoyed listening to a lot these days. Especially Haeyoung loved the soft ballad. And with Mina's soft voice it sounded even more dreamy and beautiful. Almost tragic.

Donghyuck tilted his head, a soft smile on his lips. "Haeyoung?" He asked and his cousin looked at him shortly before paying attention to the girl on the stage once again. "Am I stupid for falling for Seo Mina after all the stupid things I've done?" He asked nonetheless and now Haeyoung turned around and looked at him in disbelief. "You are now falling for her?" She asked and Donghyuck looked at the Noona on the stage. "I guess I am," Donghyuck said.

The concert ended with Seungcheol shooting glitter to the audience that screamed and wanted more as if Mina was a popular Idol. Haeyoung and Donghyuck were still clapping when the people started to leave the auditorium, grabbing the last few pieces of merchandise and then disappearing into the cool summer night.

Donghyuck quietly followed Haeyoung back to the dressing room where Mark was hugging Mina, wishing her a wonderful night and good luck on the school song contest. Mina patted his back and watched him leave, her eyes shortly lingering on Donghyuck and Haeyoung before she turned back to Bohee and Seungcheol.

Mark smiled at his friends when he arrived at their position and the three started heading home as well. On their way to the subway they were quiet but suddenly Donghyuck stopped walking. "I think I start liking Mina-noona," Donghyuck confessed and Mark cocked an eyebrow before starting to laugh.

"Took you long enough."

Donghyuck couldn't stop looking at Mina, who was only getting her lunch. She was beautiful. Her short hair complementing her petite face, while she smiled and paid her lunch taking a vacant chair and working on music once again, shoving spoonfuls of rice in her mouth from time to time.

She was a different kind of beautiful than Lee Minyoung had been. Lee Minyoung had obviously been beautiful, while Seo Mina was the type that was hiding her beauty. And Donghyuck could only understand now that Seo Mina was actually caring for him all the time.

She wouldn't have warned him about Minyoung otherwise.

He sighed before continuing his lunch, looking at Mina from time to time with a sad smile plastered on his lips. He sighed. How could she give him a chance now after messing around with Minyoung? Would she even be interested in getting to know him as a boy?

The song contest was coming up and with Mark and Bohee's help, Mina had written a beautiful ballad that covered all her emotions from the past months. Lee Minyoung brought the pain back into her life. Lee Donghyuck was a charming young boy that made her fall in love all over again after she had promised herself not to get attached to someone after getting hurt by Doyoung so badly.

But here she was, preparing a song that was mostly for Donghyuck. And she was about to sing it infront of her school.

Mark visited the nervous girl backstage. "Ready?" He asked but when Mina shook her head he laughed. "Don't worry. Everything will be fine. Here is the thing you asked me for." Mark continued and handed her a usb drive. "Haeyoung managed to get baby pictures of him as well. And I spoke to Yoogeun, he's going to dim the lights for your show. Everything will turn out perfectly fine. You can do it!" Mark smiled and patted her back before leaving.

Mina nodded and took her guitar. She was the last one to perform today and she was nervous. She repeated the lyrics she had sung so often in her head before she heard Mr. Seo, the principal call her name.

Mina walked on the stage with light steps. After her fantastic concert a few weeks prior a lot of classmates and Hoobae's became a fan of her and started cheering for her loudly. She bowed and nodded to Yoogeun in the back of the auditorium who dimmed the light and plugged in the usb drive.

The screen behind Mina glowed up saying her name and the title of her song; "Endlessly".

Mina started strumming the guitar and in the background a picture of Baby Donghyuck appeared. People in the audience were gasping when the lyrics softly left Mina's mouth, while a slide show of Lee Donghyuck was playing in the background.

"And there's no guarantee, That this will be easyIt's not a miracle ya need, believe me; Yeah, I'm no angel, I'm just me, But I will love you endlessly, Wings aren't what you need, you need me." Mina belted out the chorus making the people in the audience stand up. Mina's eyes wandered over the faces until she found the one she wanted to see.

The bridge started and Mina loooked at Donghyuck only.

"I'm not perfect but I swear I'm perfect for you." Mina sang, not realising a tear rolling down her cheek. She finished the song with a perfect strum of her guitar and turned around looking at the screen where a bright smiling selca of Donghyuck was fading out into the black and the words "LEE DONGHYUCK I HAVE A CRUSH ON YOU" were slowly appearing.

The stage was turning black and Mina walked backstage. The other contestants looked at her in awe, while the audience were still screaming because of the performance and the confession.

Mr. Seo walked back on the stage, trying to calm down the children that were all excited and cheering. "This was our last contestant of this years Song Contest. The judges will now decide who'll win." The principal exclaimed and walked off the stage.

Donghyuck was still staring at the stage, Mina's voice, the song, the slideshow and the confession still stuck in his head. He couldn't explain how he felt but he felt incredibly proud. 

A while later Mr. Seo appeared on the stage again, a golden envelope in his hands. He announced a name, Donghyuck couldn't quite catch and then a boy rushing to the stage accepting the price money and thanking his family and friends. 

Donghyuck felt himself stand up and walk out of the auditorium and towards the backstage area of the theatre. He found the door quickly opened it and entered the hallway. Crying filled his ears as some contestant cried for loosing, but soon he found the contestant that took part in this contest almost every year.

"N-Noona!" Donghyuck yelled and Mina turned around, a happy smile spreading on her lips. She tilted her head and cocked her eyebrows when she realised Donghyuck was running towards her, crushing her in a hug. Her heart leapt and she gasped, not moving an inch, while Donghyuck hid his face in her shoulder, embarassed.

"The song was so beautiful, Noona!" He said and then Mina melted, slowly her arms wrapped around the body of the younger boy and she hugged him back. "I'm sorry how mean I was to you, Mina-noona." He apologised and Mina shook her head. "It's okay, it's okay." She mumbled. "Kids do mistakes when they're young." 

Donghyuck let go of Mina. "I don't know how to have a proper relationship. And I don't know what kind of dates you like. But I hate parties. And I hate beer and weed." Donghyuck rambled and Mina laughed. "I like watching Action movies with a lot of guns and strong men!" Donghyuck explained and Mina smiled. "I like going to concerts and I still want to have time to spend with my friends. But I also want to have you in my life." 

Donghyuck looked down. "I realised too late that you were always there for me. Caring for me." He said and looked up. "Mina-noona!" He smiled. "Please let me go on a date with you."

Mina giggled like a young school girl and softly hit Donghyuck's shoulder. For how long had she wanted to hear this sentence? She sighed. "I'd love to go out with you." Mina said and ruffled Donghyuck's hair.

"After all I fell for you the first second I saw you."
