Five years later

~ 3rd Person POV ~

" And that will end our meeting," Jungkook confidently said as he bowed and said goodbye to his fellow interns. The sound of his laptop closing made him release the breath that he didn't even know that he was previously hold. He was just a nervous wreck

Skipping five years into the future and now Jungkook was fresh out of college, and now has struggled dearly but successfully became a Cloud Engineer, working his ass off in college to study in tech

" I see you have a smile on your face, did it go well?" his fellow coworker said as she leaned against the wall of his office. The male, who's wipes the line of sweat from his forehead, rolled his eyes at his friend and nodded his head. Happy within himself

" Yes actually...they were staring at me like they were hoping that I would screw up but I did it! I think they really liked my idea " Jungkook said with a smile, reaching over his desk and placing his thing in his work bag so that he could go home

" I think you've got it, just me know what they say tomorrow morning. Remember, we have that meeting at Noon, Mrs.Moon wants everything to be perfect" she chimed out as she turned around

Jungkook smiled and grabbed his things and said goodbye to his coworkers as he walked down the sidewalk to get his favorite snack before he goes back home to do a little bit of work and relax

The sound of the door bell of the door opening always made Jungkook smile. This was his favorite place and he always wondering if he could saw Tae- well, he didn't really know his relationship status with him

One day, maybe two years ago, they both were having such a simple day over the phone, out of nowhere and out of sight, they ended up having a stupid ass arguing because Jungkook thought that Taehyung didn't love him anymore and it ended up with the older male hanging up the phone

The second Taehyung cut the line, Jungkook has never heard from him again. They didn't text, talk, or anything after that stupid argument and Jungkook blames his self every time. Taehyung probably really didn't love him a lot but it's clear that no one wants to be accused of cheating over and over again

no one desires to be baselessly accused of infidelity repeatedly

Jungkook knew that he was at fault and since then, knew that he was the that fucked up his relationship. He sighed as he walked into the small yet busy cafe and stood in line. He was coming to get his usual, a banana nut muffin with a side of milk

He smiled and order his phone, getting it pretty quickly as the workers were pretty quick with making his food and he would always leave a tip for the person who was always so nice to him even thought they were extremely busy. They deserved it

He took a step down in front of a very large window and got out his laptop, he might as well get a little bit of work done now so that he didn't have to do it later at home and he could have the day to himself

" I never stop working now do I?" Jungkook said to himself. He started to get to work, wanting to do this quickly so that he could have some time to himself when he got home. Going home meant going to bud empty apartment with his goldfishes

When the male was close to being close to finished, he sighed and looked outside

Jungkook placed his hands on his face as he looked out the window, seeing all the kids just now getting out school for the summer. " Yes, can I get a blueberry muffin and iced coffee to go please "

Jungkook stopped what he was doing. His eyes glued to the window as the sound of someone's voice hit him like a train, almost knocking the wind out of him

That deep yet calming voice, that sweet and gently voice that had Jungkook in a choke hold five short yet long years ago. Jungkook slowly closed his laptop and turned around to wear he heard the voice coming from. His eyes were purely directed on top a tall make with soft and light silver hair

" Tae..." Jungkook said, his voice barely even above a whisper as he looked at the male who had his back facing him, most likely paying for his food before walking towards the direction of the exit

Jungkook didn't even know if this man was his boyfriend or ex boyfriend but he quickly stopped what ever the hell he was doing and walked after him

He heart stopped as he saw the man going towards his car

" TAEHYUNG!"

Jungkook yelled, almost begging to see a reaction coming from the male, the male who he still didn't know what he looked like. He might be embarrassed if this man wasn't Taehyung but he couldn't just give up that change, he needed to know

" Come on..." Jungkook mumbled to himself as he man gave him no reaction. He sighed, his shoulders dropping as he turned back around, feeling embarrassed and stupid that he thought some random dude on the street with a deep voice was his ex. He might have just missed him too much

" Jungkook?"

Jungkook snapped his head around to see the taller male. He felt tears in his eyes as he saw that the male was indeed Taehyung. Still as handsome as ever, all that was different was that his hair was silver down

" T-Tae...it's really you" Jungkook muttered as he stepped towards, almost falling because of how emotional he was when he finally saw Taehyung after all of these years. It was really him

" Yes..it's really me " Taehyung stated, looking down at Jungkook who he also missed dearly. He missed him as well but, their little disagreement really did upset Taehyung to the point where he didn't want want to speak to him anymore

It wasn't like he didn't love him anymore, but, being accused for cheating when all he ever did was love Jungkook really did have his heart laying heavy

" I-I..." Taehyung mumbled, not really knowing what to say. He has always planned on what to say when him and Taehyung reunited but now, it's like his words were stuck in his throat

" I don't know what to say "

" Then don't say anything " Taehyung stated, looking down at his boyfriend or what ever he was towards him. He didn't really know what they were either

" I'm sorry....about what happened with you and me...I didn't mean to make you upset that day..I really didn't mean it " Jungkook quietly said

Taehyung nodded his head. Thinking back to the time where they quit talking. It was the hardest thing that Taehyung had to go through

"Taehyung, do you still love me?" Jungkook asked hesitantly. Not really knowing if Taehyung still had feelings for him or not. Jungkook himself already knew that he still loved Taehyung's dearly

"Of course, I do. I never stopped loving you," Taehyung replied, looking into Jungkook's eyes. Yes, Taehyung still loved the younger male with all of his heart. He never quit loving the younger male

Jungkook felt a weight lifted off his shoulders, a feeling of relief and happiness that he had never experienced before. But then, he remembered something that had been bothering him.

"Taehyung, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to accuse you of cheating on me. It's just that I couldn't believe that you still loved me after all these years..." Jungkook said apologetically, really wanting Taehyung to know that he didn't mean to accuse him of cheating

" I told you over and over again that I wasn't going to just forget about you...I think you forgot that you were also my first everything ...my first kiss and my first time...my first love " Taehyung softly muttered, feeling hurt that Jungkook would suggest that he'd cheat on him after those two years

Jungkook regretfully bit his bottom lip, feeling insecure about his emotions. He didn't want to believe that Taehyung would be unfaithful, but he questioned why someone would wait for five or more years when they had only been in a relationship for a few days, maybe just under a month

" I'm sorry, I just thought-"

Taehyung shook his head in disappointment. " No you didn't think Jungkook, I just thought you knew me better than that. I told you over again that I loved you with all of my heart and that I would never in my life forget about you...did you just forget all of what I told you?" He questioned with hurt in his voice

" Im sorry...I-I didn't mean to hurt your feelings" Jungkook mumbled sadly, upset that he hurt his boyfriend...if that was what they were right now

Taehyung sighed, looking away from Jungkook. He didn't want to believe that Jungkook would even consider that he was a cheater but, he still loved him. Even after they quit speaking to one another two years ago, Taehyung still always thought about him

He would always want to text him, hold him and make sure that he was okay but, his pride got the best of him and thats when they quit speaking

" I know..I know that you didn't...I just thought you knew me better than that but, we already knew that the whole distance thing was going to be an issue so...I guess it didn't work out for us " Taehyung quietly stated as he looked away Jungkook

The younger male wanted to hold him, he wanted to touch him and just be near him. That feeling that he missed oh so dearly

" I love you...I still do and I have for the longest time...I told you that you were my first love. I kept my promise when I told you that I'd never hurt you...I would just hope that you'd believe me when I said that I loved you " Taehyung whispered

" I know that you love me because I love you...are we still together? Please tell me you still want to be with me " Jungkook slightly begged, not purposely trying to beg for Taehyung to continue to want to be with him. He really loved him, he spent all this time only ever wishing Taehyung wanted him

" Of course I do "

Jungkook felt tears in his eyes as he wrapped his arms around his neck, holding him close and never wanting to let him go again. He never wanted Taehyung to leave him once more. He had him now and he didn't think that he could truly let him

" C-can I kiss you?"

" Since when did you ever have to ask to do that?" Taehyung questioned with a soft chuckle. Jungkook didn't waste any time before placing their lips together. The euphoric feeling of their lips touching after such a long time of being far apart

" I love you so fucking much " Taehyung muttered softly as he pulled away from the kisses, caressing his boyfriends face as he missed it so much. His missed the feeling that he felt when he was held by him

" I love you too" Jungkook softly said, around a wrapped around each other and the younger male didn't even ask on why he was here. He frankly didn't really care, he could ask him about that later

Taehyung kissed the top of his head, running his hands up and down his boyfriends back. Feeling the younger male holding on to him for dear life

" Don't go " Jungkook mumbled

" Well we can't just hug in the middle of the sidewalk " Taehyung mumbled softly, pulling Jungkook to the side and just letting the younger male hold him. He knew he missed him and he missed him too. He missed all the memories he shared with him

Now that Taehyung was with him, for how ever long, he felt like he himself was now completely. Their relationship seems like it would continue to work out as long as they trust one another. They were going to stick together and never let each other go

Jungkook could truly say he found his first and true love back in that summer camp, back in those fun and enjoyable Summer Days
