"Mom!" Lindsey yells for Pepper as it's the first time that she's called her mom since she showed up claiming to be Tony's daughter. Now isn't the time to celebrate the happy occasion, as it's time to defeat Obidiah. They will celebrate the happy occasion later.

"Lindsey!" Pepper replies.

"This isn't working. We're going to have to overload the reactor and blast the roof. It is the only option that we have." Lindsey tells Pepper as she follows Obidiah.

"Well, how are we going to do that?" Pepper asked.

"You're going to do it. Go to the center console, open all the circuits. When I get clear of the roof, I'll let you know. You're going to hit the master bypass button. It's going to fry everything up here." Lindsey explains to Pepper as Tony is coming up breaking some class along the way.

"Okay, I'm going in now." Pepper says.

"I never had a taste for this sort of thing, but I must admit, I'm deeply enjoying the suit! You finally outdid yourself, Tony! You'd have made your father proud!" Obidiah says to Tony as Lindsey was behind him.

"It's ready, Lindsey! Get off the roof! Tony! Lindsey!" Pepper exclaims to the two Starks.

"How ironic, Tony! Try to get rid the world of weapons, you gave it it's best one ever!" Obidiah says as he grabbed Tony by his throat.

Lindsey tried using her blasters and tried blasting Obidiah to let go of Tony, but it wasn't working.

"Pepper! Tony yells as he tried fighting Obidiah.

"And now I'm going to kill your precious daughter with it! You two ripped out my targeting system!" Obidiah says as he went to grab Lindsey, but she disappeared. "Where did she go?" He asked.

"Ice him Linds." Tony says to Lindsey, as Lindsey used as much of her powers as she could as her eyes changed to the dark blue color as it happens when she uses her powers. Slowly but surely, Obidiah starts freezing. Just before the place exploded into a fireball of fury, Lindsey kicked a frozen Obidiah, and just after she did that the place exploded, immediately killing Obidiah.

Tony and Lindsey got out safely with some bruises but what else is new?

"You've all received the official statement of what occurred at Stark Industries last night. There have been unconfirmed reports that a robotic prototype malfunctioned and caused damage to the arc reactor. Unfortunately, a member of Tony Stark's personal security staff Obidiah Stane was pronounced dead at the scene. He will be missed." The news reporter says as Lindsey scoffed as he will definitely not be missed.

"Iron Man. That's kind of catchy. It's got a nice ring to it. I mean, it's not technically accurate. The suit's a gold-titanium alloy, but it's kind of evocative, the imagery anyway." Tony says as he wrapped his arm around Macy.

"At least it's better than gold-titanium alloy man." Lindsey says as she laughed a little as Tony put down the newspaper that he was holding as he wrapped his arms around Lindsey.

"Here's your alibi." Agent Coulson tells him, and Peyton handed them their respective alibi's.

"Okay." The two Starks say in unison.

"You were on your yacht." Peyton says as Tony slowly nods his head, as Lindsey turns to her father confused.

"You have a yacht?" She asked as Tony just patted her head.

"We have port papers that put you in Avalon all night and sworn statements from 50 of your guests." Phil says. 

"All right." Tony says.

"Just read it, word for word." Peyton says to Lindsey and Tony.

"There's nothing about Obidiah here on both of them." Tony says as he looked at both of his and Lindsey's and they both don't say anything of Stane.

"That's being handled. He's on vacation. Small aircraft have such a poor safety record." Phil says.

"But what about the whole cover story that isn't a bodyguard? He's my...I mean is that.... That kind of flimsy, don't you think?" Tony says as he stuttered a little.

"This isn't my first rodeo, Mr. Stark. You two just stick to the official statement, and soon, this will all be behind you." Peyton says as Lindsey gave her a weak smile.

"You've got 90 seconds."

"Agent Coulson? I just want to say thank you very much for your help." Pepper says to Coulson and Peyton.

"It's what we do. You'll be hearing from us." Peyton says to Pepper as Tony kissed Lindsey's head.

"From the Strategic Homeland..." Pepper says trialing off a bit to remember the full name of SHIELD.

"Just call us SHIELD." Phil says correcting Pepper as she nods her head as he and Peyton walk out of the room.

"Right. Let's get this show on the road." Pepper says as Lindsey nods her head.

"You know, it's actually not that bad. Even I don't think I'm Iron Man." Tony says as he grabs Mira's hand.

"You're not Iron Man." Pepper says to Tony.

"Am so." Tony says to Pepper as Lindsey rolls her eyes at them having their pity argument.

"You're not." Pepper says.

"All right, suit yourself. You know, if I were Iron Man. I'd have this amazing assistant who knew my true identity and had a daughter who could basically become my sidekick."

"Nah, you'd become my sidekick."

"Why, so you can boss me around?" Tony asked his daughter as she nods her head. "Nice try, kiddo." He says as Lindey frowned at hearing that.

Tony started talking as Lindsey stood behind her dad letting him talk to the people as talking in crowds aren't Lindsey's thing at all. She gets all clammy, and it's not a thing that she wants to do.

Tony continued talking about what happened and stuff like that as Lindsey wasn't really paying attention to what was being said.

"The truth is...I am Iron Man, and my daughter Lindsey is Mystify." Tony says as everyone stood up as Lindsey and Tony walked out hand-in-hand.

.....

later that night

Tony and Lindsey are in the playground upgrading Lindsey's suit so it could be waterproof, so if she is in water she won't either drown or sink. Lindsey also doesn't know how to swim either.

"I am Iron Man and Mystify. I think you're the only two superheroes in the world. Mr. Stark, and your daughter have become part of a bigger universe. You just don't know it." A man and another shadow say as Tony tightens his grip on Lindsey who finally fell asleep in his arms.

"Who the hell are you two?" Tony asked as he lowered his voice so that he wouldn't wake up Lindsey as he walks towards the two Fury's.

"Nick and Desiree Fury. I'm the Director of SHIELD and she is the co-director." Nick Fury explains to Tony as Desiree waves a little at Tony.

"Ah." Tony says.

"We are here to talk to you and your sleeping daughter about the Avengers Initiative." Desiree Fury says.

just like that i am done writing, at least for the first part of this book.

i also wouldn't be lying if i said i wrote the entire iron man one, in under three days. hehe. i have a lot of time on my hands, and because i get bored easily.
