Tony decided that he'd want to rebuild his suit from Afghanistan. The one he built so that he could get out of the cave that he was temporarily living in. "JARVIS, you still up, or did Lindsey tire you out?" Tony asked as Lindsey gave him a look. "Sorry, that wasn't funny."

"For you sir always." JARVIS replies. 

"I'd like to open a new project file, index as Mark Two." Tony says to JARVIS.

"Shall I store this on the Stark Industries Central Database?" JARVIS asked Tony.

"Actually, I don't know who to trust right now, besides Linds. Till further notice, why don't we just keep everything on my private server? The only people who can have access is me and Lindsey, no one else." Tony says as Lindsey was eating Cheeto Puffs. 

"Working on a secret project are we sir?" JARVIS asked.

"I don't want this winding up in the wrong hands. Maybe mine or Linds', it can actually do some good." Tony says while eating a slice of pizza.

Tony is working on the boot for his new suit. Lindsey is at the worktable halfly paying attention as she is starting to doze off. She is bobbing her head. Tony is wearing the boots for a first test flight. Casper the arm robot is filming it as Dum-E is in charge of the fire extinguisher.

"Okay let's do this. Start mark, half a meter, and back and center. Dum-E, look alive. You're on standby for fire safety. Casper roll it. Okay. Activate hand controls. We're going to start off nice and easy. We're going to see if 10% thrust capacity achieves lift. And three, two, one." Tony says as he immediately flings back and hits the upper wall and Lindsey jumps awake. She rubs her tired eyes before putting her head back in her hands and going back to sleep.

While Lindsey is sleeping, Pepper comes in the workshop with a box wrapped and a cup of something for Tony.

"I've been buzzing you. Did you hear the intercom." Pepper asked as she is walking towards the billionaire.

"Yeah everything's...what?" Pepper asked as she saw Lindsey sleeping at the corner of her eye as Tony is dealing with his flight stabilizer making sure it is up to his standards. Lindsey would be helping but she is currently sleeping her life away, at eleven in the evening.

"Obidiah's upstairs." Pepper says as Tony groans a little when he heard the name of his colleague.

"Great." Tony says with a bored expression, as he isn't enthuastic about Obidiah. 

"What would you like me to tell him?" Pepper asked as Tony is figuring out the stabilizer almost forgetting that Pepper is still in the room.

"I'll be up." Tony says.

"Okay, I thought you said that you were done making weapons." Pepper asked confusing as she took notice of the flight stabilizer.

"It is. It's a flight stabilizer. It's completely harmless." Tony says as the flight stabilizer shoots, which flung Tony backwards which scared Pepper. "I didn't expect that." He said somewhat to himself.

About twenty minutes later, Tony comes back as Lindsey was still sleeping as he picks her up bridal style as her head leans back as her mouth is gaped open. After he dropped Lindsey off in her bed, he went back downstairs so at least he wouldn't hear her snoring. Though he told JARVIS to tell him when Lindsey wakes up.

the next night

The two Starks have their suits on and are ready for a test flight. Well, technically Lindsey's suit is ready, but Tony's isn't ready quite yet, as he hadn't done a test flight.

"JARVIS are you there?" Tony asked his AI.

"At your service sir." JARVIS replies.

"Engage hands-up display." Tony tells JARVIS.

"Check." JARVIS replies.

"Import all preferences from home interface." Tony says to JARVIS, as Mira is getting her suit on, and she stands next to her dad.

"Will do sir." JARVIS replies.

"All right, what do you say?" Tony asked his AI as he notices Lindsey standing next to him as he smiles in the suit.

"I have indeed been uploaded sir. We're online and ready and Miss Lindsey's AI is connected for you." JARVIS says as Tony turns to his daughter confused.

"You have an AI, and you didn't tell me."

"You never asked." Lindsey commented as she wasn't entirely wrong.

"Can we start the virtual walk-around." Tony says getting back to the assignment at hand.

"Importing preferences and calibrating virtual environment." JARVIS says as Tony starts walking around the room.

"Do a check on control surfaces." Tony says.

"As you wish. Test complete. Preparing to power down and begin diagnostics." JARVIS says to his boss.

"Uh, yeah. Tell you what. Do a weather and ATC check. Start listing it on the ground control." Tony tells JARVIS as he looked at Lindsey as he was getting bored.

"Sir, there are still terabytes of calculations needed before an actual flight is..." JARVIS says as he raised his voice slightly at Tony.

"JARVIS! Sometimes you got to run before you can walk." Tony says before looking at his daughter and smirking in his suit.

"Ready?" Tony asked as Lindsey nods her head.

"In three, two, one." Tony and Lindsey say in unison as they begin to hover, and Lindsey flies out of the garage and into the night sky. "How does it feel, Linds?" Tony asked his daughter who is a little behind him, but she caught up to him.

"Feels good." Lindsey says to her father.

"What's the SR-71 record?" Tony asked JARVIS.

"The altitude record for fixed wing flight is 85,000 feet sir." JARVIS replies to the billionaire.

"Records are made to be broken!" Tony says as he and Lindsey fly higher.

"J, how much do you want to bet that he is going to fall?" Lindsey asked JARVIS, as Tony didn't hear her say that.

"He's for sure going to fall." JARVIS says.

"Keep going! Higher!" Tony says as he went into the sky as Lindsey's eyes widened when she saw ice building up on the suit as her dad was ignoring it.

"J, break the ice on dad's suit. NOW!" Lindsey ordered as the ice that build up on her dad's suit came off but some of its Lindsey's which made her suit start to shut down.

"This isn't good." Lindsey says as she slowly starts to slow down before it completely shut down. "THIS ISN'T GOOD! SHIT!"

"Sir, it appears that Miss Lindsey's suit has shut down due to ice falling on her suit." JARVIS informed the father of Lindsey.

"Shit Linds." Tony says as he went flying after Lindsey he went to grab her, but he wasn't fast enough to catch her, as he just barely grabbed her before her hand slipped out of his. When he got Lindsey, the house was getting closer at a dangerously fast speed.

"Kill power." Tony says as his suit shut down and he falls through the roof, hits the piano and down to his workshop landing on the car that Lindsey had crashed into earlier as Lindsey slips out of her dad and she falls on the floor and Dum-E uses a fire extinguisher on Tony.

Lindsey's helmet retracted as she took a deep breath. "Oh, thank god." Lindsey says as she leaned her head on the ground.
