A/N: This takes place after the fight against the Demon King, I think you can already see by reading the sentence below this

It had been a couple of weeks after the fight with the Demon King and all was quiet at the Boar Hat, and everyone wanted it to stay this way. But after all that fighting excitement, it was a bit boring, just sitting around twiddling their fingers and staring at the ceiling.

It stayed like this for a couple of minutes, until a Holy Knight broke through the door-literally- huffing, and puffing. 

"The..king... requires-" he took a moment to compose himself before starting again, "The King requires your services, he wants to meet you in the castle at once!".

The sins were quite confused about why he had called them instead of his Holy Knights, and assumed this must have been very important on that he had called them on such short notice.

Seeing how dire the situation was, Merlin transported all of the sins ( including the knight  ) into the throne room, in which they saw the king pacing around the room in a worried manner with servants running after him, trying to calm him down.

Since teleportation is silent, he didn't notice the new members in the room, so Elizabeth walked over and tapped his shoulder,

"Aaahhh!-" he shouted out in surprise before realizing who touched him,

"- Ah, Elizabeth and the Seven Deadly Sins, thank you for coming here on such short notice, and you're probably wondering why you're here on such short notice anyway." he chuckled slightly before turning serious.

"I've been getting reports of mass murders in a village north of here,  so I sent a troop of my best knights to find out who the murder is, and to capture the person so they can be brought here for questioning, the thing is... the knights never came back, " a shiver of fear went down his back before continuing,

"I fear that the person who is causing this may come to the capital and do the same thing, that why I called you to find who is behind this and to stop them"

He looked at them with pleading eyes,

"Please"

The sins looked at each other and nodded,

"You have our help!"
