After Sam had gotten his things and kissed Malaika and Spencer goodnight as Spencer didn't want to leave her father as she was a Velcro baby and didn't want to leave her Daddy. With a lot of reassurance that he will be okay, Spencer agreed of letting her father go out of her sight. But she knows that she isn't going to like it.
"I promise I will be back baby." Sam says to his five-year-old daughter, as she sleepily nods her head before leaning forward and giving her dad a big hug. Which made him smile, when Spencer released the hug Sam kissed her forehead, even if part of him didn't want to leave his daughter. But he knew that he had to either way, and it broke his heart a little.
After bidding a goodbye/goodnight to his daughter, Sam walked to him and Mal's room, and she was spread out asleep. He walked towards his girlfriend, as he couldn't help but smile at the sight of her sleep with her head on his pillow. He is guessing that she plopped herself on his side of the bed purposely.
He managed to find her head as it was buried under some of her hair, and he gently used the padding of his thumb to move the strands of her hair out of her face. When her face was cleared off of her blonde hair, he leaned down to her head and placed a tender kiss on her forehead.
"I'll be back in a couple days." He says more so to him, reminding him of what he has when he comes back to the apartment, after his trip with Dean.
Sam went to the kitchen and grabbed a couple of granola bars that will last for a couple of days, not really knowing when the next meal that actual food is going to be. Knowing that he probably won't have actual food other than snacky food, for the next couple of days.
He also grabbed a couple snacks for Whitney, knowing Dean hasn't been feeding her actual food with nutrients and healthy minerals that she needs. He most likely feeds her junk food, and or food that he eats.
After he got his granola bars and some other snacky food he then walked out of the apartment, he turned around and took one last look at the apartment before he leaves for a couple days. He turned back around and saw that Dean and Whitney were in the Impala with Eye of the Tiger on full blast, and the two don't have a single care in the world they were awfully dancing making the Impala slightly move from their dance moves.
When Sam got to the passenger side, that is when Whitney turned and gave her uncle a look it was as if looks could kill at least for a six-year-old. He knocked on the door and Dean jumped at seeing his brother standing there. He motioned for Whitney to get in the back, and she did with a pout on her face.
It was going to take some getting used to, but Dean had promised her that once a week she could sit up front and be his passenger princess again, and she agreed so after Dean had to bribe her a little to say that.
He may have lost thirty bucks along with his peanut m&m's but he's not going to talk about it. She kept going higher with the amount, but the more that she would go higher, the less money Dean would have for food gas and other stuff. She wasn't going to say that willingly either, because if it were up to her, she wouldn't have to share her father. Also, if God forbid Spencer joins in the club, then might as well put a bullet in Whitney.
When Sam got in the car. Whitney was glaring at her uncle with her arms crossed over her chest and a little huff left her mouth. She wants to sit up front. Her Uncle can sit in the back and or strap him to the roof of the car. The front seat is Whitney's throne, and kingdom.
Not her uncle's.
Sam put his bag beside Whitney and gave his niece a small smile at seeing her grumpy. which made her look cuter than she already is. Sam turned to his brother with a small, amused smile on his face. "Whit, looks like she wants to kick me out of the car." Sam says as Dean looked through the mirror and saw Whitney looking grumpy. He raised his brow slightly at his daughter, he reached his free hand and patted her foot, which made her look at her dad. Even if she wanted to avoid eye contact and not look at him.
"Munch, it is only probably going to be for a couple days. Then you can be 'passenger princess', okay." Dean says to his daughter as she nods her head without looking up at her dad, hoping that he is right. Sam turns his head to his brother.
"You do realize that a six-year-old, isn't supposed to be in the front seat, right?" Sam asked his brother, as Dean groans at his brothers answer. "Okay, and? She likes it. She picks the music, which is something you don't have the power to do. Because you aren't cute and adorable." Dean says to his brother as Sam gives him a look with a sarcastic raised brow.
"It isn't safe, Dean. What if she gets hurt?" Sam asked his brother, as Dean rolled his eyes at his younger brother, before he can object Whitney pipes up of course with a sarcastic remark much like Dean. "I know how to wear a seatbelt dummy."
Dean immediately turns to his daughter with a scolding look but in reality, he wanted to laugh at her joke, but since Sam was here, he couldn't. Well, he could but he would get smacked for it. "Whitney, we talked about this. He isn't a dummy.... he is stupid." Sam gives his brother a look for encouraging this behavior. Then again, no one said Dean was smart of getting Ophelia pregnant.
"I am no dummy nor stupid." Sam objects as Dean shrugs his shoulders at his brother which made Sam shake his head at his brother. He followed the shake of the head with an eye roll.
"So, he is an idiot?" Whitney asked as Sam leans in his seat, knowing that he won't be winning against these two. "He is an idiot." Dean says as Sam let out a groan at his niece and his brother, more so at his brother for condoning this behavior around a six-year-old.
Dean shifted the gears and started backing up as Whitney held onto her stuffed bunny, as there was a song playing on a cassette tape as it was Enter Sandman by Metallica. Despite her mood, Whitney was mouthing the words to the song, but she wasn't having a full out jam session like her father was. Which she would join but she wants to throw a tantrum instead.
A couple hours later and Whitney is still not happy, she wants to leave but she can't sadly. All she has been hearing is her dad and Uncle Sam arguing about which bands are better, and she is tired of it. She has been stuffing the candy that was in her dad's car, as she eventually fell asleep from a sugar coma.
"Giving a child that much sugar isn't healthy Dean." Sam says as he turned his head towards his niece sleeping in the backseat. Dean looked through the mirror and saw his daughter who was holding her bunny that Sam had gotten her when she was a baby.
"She is fine. Now stop worrying, sheesh." Dean says pushing the topic to the side. "Besides you aren't the one raising her. I feel bad for your kid. Which why did you never tell me about?" Dean says which made the younger brother turn to his older brother.
"What are we after anyway?" Sam asked changing the subject for the better. Deans give his brother a look along with a roll of his eyes. "A woman in white that is a spirit of some sort who is pretending to be stranded along the side of the road and then luring the men and then killing them. At least that is what I'm assuming." Dean explains as Sam nods his head.
"Okay, let's stop somewhere for the night and then start searching first thing after we wake up." Sam says as Dean nods his head as he turned his head to make sure that Whitney was still sleeping as she is a light sleeper. He sighed a little when he saw that she was still asleep.
"That is what I was thinking genius." Dean snarkily remarked which made Sam give him a side-eyed look.
