~ 3rd Person POV ~

" Mr. Jeon, here are the papers for the meeting next week and the files for today," one of his employees said handing him a stake of papers

" Thank you," Jungkook said smiling and was about to walk to his office until another one of his employees stopped him at his door

" Mr. Jeon! Here are the files for the technology project and the information we gathered from last week " She said handing him the papers

" Thank you Ms. Choi "' Jungkook said bowing and walking into his office. He closed the door and placed all of the papers and files on his desk

He sighed and looked at all of the work that he needed to get started on. He stretched a little bit before sitting down at his desk and opening his laptop

He let out a small sigh and he started to type and do his work

Jeon was a working man, he loved his job with all of his heart. Every day he did the same thing. He'd come to work, everyone would give either him or Namjoon papers, then he goes to his office and spends the rest of the time filling the information out

"Mr. Jeon get this"

"Mr. Jeon get that"

"Mr. Jeon here are the papers

"Mr. Jeon here are the files"

Jungkook heard the same thing every day but, he couldn't complain. He wanted to build a business with his brother Namjoon so this is what he got

It was his responsibility and he was going to make sure he got all of his work done and it was perfect. You could say that Jeon Jungkook was a perfectionist, no doubt that it was true

He worked hard with his brother to build this company to its highest and best ability. So now, he was putting his foot forward and continuing to work hard for it

Working 12 hours a day and you'd think that Jungkook would be ready to go home yet, he didn't mind overworking himself. No one cared if he did it anyway so it didn't phase him at all

" Kook?" Namjoon said walking into his office and Jungkook smiled at his brother. Jungkook and Namjoon have always been close, they were brothers after all

" I just wanted to see how you were holding up? I saw the employees give you quite a bit for paperwork " Namjoon said eyeing the paperwork

" I'm doing okay, I know I will get this work done, " Jungkook said smiling and Namjoon looked at his younger brother

" You don't have a date or anything tonight? I'm sure you don't want to be held in this office on a Saturday " Namjoon said as looked at his brother

" Fine, I'll try to go out tonight. I won't keep myself hogged in here " Jungkook said smiling at his brother and Namjoon ruffled up his hair

" You better, I'm tired of seeing you lonely " Namjoon said smiling and walking out of his office. Jungkook sighed and continued to do the work on his laptop

~ It's now 9:58 pm ~

" What did I tell you Jungkook," Namjoon said walking into his office and Jungkook groaned like a little kid

" I don't understand why I can't just stay here and finish my work. I do it any other day, why is this day more important " Jungkook said frowning

" Because it's the new year 2021 and almost everyone is out partying while you're just sitting here working. Promise me you'll at least go somewhere tonight " Namjoon said and Jungkook nodded his head

" Okay, I'll go somewhere tonight," Jungkook said as he started to put up his paperwork and file

" Okay, see you tomorrow," Namjoon said walking over to his brother and hugging him. Jungkook smiled and hugged him back

" See you tomorrow and I'll make sure to lock up," Jungkook said putting up his files and paperwork. Namjoon nodded his head and walking out of his office

Jungkook continued to put up his things and grabbed his jacket and put it on. He grabbed his briefcase and car keys

He walked out of his office and walked down the long stairs of the building. He opened the doors, the cool air hitting him in his face. He turned around and locked up

He walked over to his car and got in. He sighed as sat in his car. He felt his phone buzzed and he got it out. He hasn't checked any of his notifications today

Namjoon
Don't forget to go pick up the Roses for the business party and put them in the water at your house. I forgot to get them from the shop

Jungkook
Okay, which flower shops do I go get them from? There are so many in this area or do you not care where they are from

Namjoon
Floral Bouquet, I heard that one of the finest flower shop here

Jungkook
Will do

Jungkook put his phone away before driving to the Flower shop that Namjoon requested. He doesn't know why Namjoon wanted to go to a specific place when all he was going to get some Roses

Jungkook arrived at the flower shop and got out of the car. He walked up to the shop and opened the doors, a bell ringing and he saw an employee walk over to him

" Hello, welcome to Floral Bouquet, how can I help you?" An employee named Emily said smiling

" Hello, could you show me where the Rose section is," He asked nicely since this was a big flower shop? It smelt like Cinnamon and Vanilla. This place smelt like home

It has light yellow lights and a big flower on display. It even had a small area where a small number of people would sit and talk. It was a beautiful shop, no wonder why Namjoon wanted him to come here

" Of course I can follow me," Emily said smiling and guiding him to the section of big rose. There was a variety of flowers, this was going to be hard

Well shit...

Jungkook
Um...there are like 50 different types of Roses here, did you want a specific kind?

Namjoon
Mirabel's

Jungkook put his phone back into his pocket and started to look for the Roses that Namjoon wanted

"Blackjacks...Rubicons...Kellies...Mirabel's!" Jungkook said smiling once he saw the Roses. They were extremely pretty and nice-looking

" Mr." Jungkook heard a small voice as he looked down and saw a little girl. Maybe around four or five pulling on his pants leg

" Well hello little one, what is it that you need, " Jungkook said looking at her. He gave her a warm smile and she smiled at him

" My Mommy loves Roses!" The little girl said as she picked up a small rose and handed it to him

" My mommy said if you pick up a fresh, stemless Roses from off the ground, I'd bring you good luck," the little girl said smiling and Jungkook smiled back at her

She was adorable and her eyes lashes making her look like a little Angel

" What's your name Mr.," She said

" Oh, my name is Jungkook," He said smiling softly at her

" I'm Ellie! I have a twin sister named Lillie" Ellie said smiling and holding out her hand so that Jungkook could shake it

" That's a really beautiful name you have there Ellie, " Jungkook said shaking her hand. " It was nice knowing you Ellie, mind showing me where I can pay for my flowers?" Jungkook said and Ellie head her head

" Mommy!" Ellie yelled as she wanted to the cash register. Jungkook pulled out his wallet and he heard a soft voice

" Hello, what can I do for you, " A voice said and Jungkook looked up. He saw a male with soft brown hair and long eyelashes

Oh...This must be Ellie's older brother? Cousin?

" Oh, I'd like to for these Rose " Jungkook said smiling and placing the bundle of Roses on the counter

" Oh you have my famous Mirabel Roses, they're selling like crazy this time of year," He said smiling and ringing up the flowers

" Yeah, they're a really beautiful type of Flower, " Jungkook said smiling and handing him the money

" Lillie! This man got Roses!" Ellie said tapping on her shoulder and pointing to Jungkook. Lillie gave him a small wave and continued to play with her doll

" I gave him a Rose for good luck!" Ellie said looking up at his mom and He smiled a little then looked back at Jungkook

" I'm sorry if Ellie was bothering you, she likes talking to everyone how comes in here, " He said smiling softly and handed him the Roses

"It's completely fine, your little sisters are really sweet, it was nice meeting you," Jungkook said smiling and Ellie smiled at him

Jungkook walked at the door and smiled at the little girl before walking out of the flower shop and back to his car. He wasn't all that excited to head back home

You don't understand how lonely it is to come home to a big house and have no one to come home to. His house always felt cold and depressing

Was he married? The answer was simple and cold no. It's not like he didn't have time to date but he couldn't find the right person

He didn't have kids, oh he wished he could have kids but, he could never find the perfect someone to give him that blessing

What's the point of having so much money if you don't spend it on something more than yourself?

Jungkook sighed and walked into his house. Like always, he was greeted with no one, not even a pet or an animal to keep him comfortable

" Home sweet home I guess...." Jungkook said sighing and taking off his jacket. He placed it in the rack and took off his shoes. He went to the kitchen and started to make himself a cup of coffee

He filled up an empty vase with water and placed his Roses in the vase. He placed him on the living room coffee table so that he won't forget them tomorrow

He walked upstairs and walked into his cold and lonely room. He took off his pants and turned on his heating system

He got into bed and pulled the covers over him, drifting off to sleep like any other boring and cycled day

That is what Jeon Jungkook's life looks like. Lovely and cold. Maybe, with a wish of faith, someone can turn his life around and make it brighter
