~ 3rd Person POV ~

Taehyung changed into a sweater and some fluffy shorts. He sat down on his bed and turned on the TV. He didn't know why he was upset at Jungkook but he felt as if the other same was embarrassed by him

Is he embarrassed to be seen with me? What if he doesn't want people to know we are dating because I'm young. Is he ashamed to be with me? What if-

Taehyung threw his stuffed animal across the room as he sighed. The smaller boy looked up as he heard a knock on the door. He knew it was Jungkook

" Baby? "Jungkook said as he opened the door and closing it behind him. Jungkook was a little disappointed that their fun eventing resulted in an argument

" What is it?"  Taehyung said as he played with the tips of his fingers. Jungkook had already taken a shower and changed into some warm clothes

" I'm sorry about earlier...I didn't mean to sound pushy about you telling your parents about us..you should be comfortable and tell them when you are ready" Jungkook said as he sat down beside him

" But, you have to realize telling your parents before you are of legal age can  be a little risky. Not only for me but you"

Relationships with age gaps are risky. Jungkook just wanted to protect himself and Taehyung from this if the situation comes out unexpectedly

" I'm not ashamed of you baby. I know you are sixteen, and I know you need a little more time to mature but overall, I love you. I'm not ashamed or embarrassed by you. I just don't want you getting hurt if you tell your parents before you are 18" Jungkook said as he slowly caressed his cheek

He just wanted the best for Taehyung. He knew how special this relationship was to Taehyung but he didn't want to risk him getting hurt in the process

" Telling your parents is a little risky baby. I just want to make sure you are safe okay, I don't want anything to hurt you " Jungkook said

" But-"

" No buts, you don't understand Taehyung. The world isn't going to adjust to our relationship. You might consent to all of this but by law, our relationship is illegal baby. Don't you get it? This is illegal " Jungkook said while raising his voice

He didn't want to raise his voice at Taehyung but he needed to let his boyfriend know that he can't tell anyone about their relationship yet

" But I'm sixteen! I'm almost an adult!" Taehyung said while getting up from the bed

" You said almost. You're not an adult yet. By law, you are still a child and I'm the adult. I could go to jail even if you consented to this relationship baby. What do you not understand? " Jungkook said while looking at his boyfriend

Fuck, Taehyung was stubborn as hell

" I-I...I just...I don't know "

" Exactly, baby you don't know. You don't understand that people don't understand us. I'm trying to protect us, baby...you have to trust me on this okay?" Jungkook said as he held his hand. Caressing it softly

As Taehyung thought about it, he realized that Jungkook was only doing what was best for him

" You are right...I'm sorry for yelling at you. Are you an adult so you most likely know more than me. I just don't want you to be embarrassed by me...I like you " Taehyung said as he looked at him

Taheyung liked Jungkook and he didn't want the mess anything up

" I just really like you...I've never felt this way about anyone. It would be nice for my parents to know how I feel about you but...if it's for our safety then, I guess we can wait until I'm of legal age " Taehyung said and Jungkook smiled

" Thank you, baby, " Jungkook said as he smiled and hugged his boyfriend. Taehyung wrapped his arms around his neck

"I love you, baby, I promise you that," Jungkook said as he rubbed his back up and down

" I love you too Kookie, thank you for wanting me to be safe "
