"We are nothing alike!" I yell.

I slam my fist into her again.

"I'm not a monster!" I yell.

She grabs my fist. I glare at her.

"You're going to regret that boy." She says.

"I only regret not doing it sooner." I hiss.

She throws me back. I slam into the wall of branches and stone. I wince. She shoots forward.

"You were born a monster and so was I." She says.

She slams her fist into my chest. I wince. I grab her arm. I throw her down. She shoots a vine out. It grabs me. I wince. I ignite in fire. I can't let her destroy us all using me as the powers source. Unfortunately, I don't have my spear or my ribbon. A vine wraps around my neck. 

"The earth has always swallowed the flames." She says.

"Shut up!" I hiss.

It tightens. I grab it with my other hand. As it tightens, I feel my energy being ripped out. I throw myself back. I have to free myself. She tightens her coils around me. Another vine grabs my other free arm. The other arms fade away like smoke. I let out a breath as the fire around me turns to smoke. My head falls. It feels like life had been sucked out of me.

"The flames are no match for the earth." She lifts my head up.

I am too tired to respond.
