I pull the vines again. It's a mix of stone and wood. I see flowers blooming around. What was happening? Why am I here? What is this creature talking about? What war? Earth and sky don't mean anything. It doesn't mean anything to me.

"What crazy are you talking about?" I ask.

"Crazy am I?" She asks.

"Yes!" I ignite again. 

I feel energy rip the flames from me. I wince. Smoke pours out of me. I glare at her.

"Will you stop whining like a child?" She slides her hand down my face.

It feels hard and sharp like swords. I draw my head back.

"The Earth and the Sky have been enemies since the dawn of time." She says.

"So what?" I spit in her face.

"Ignorant boy." She lifts my head up.

"I don't care about some stupid war. I only care of how to get out of here." I spit in her face.

"Let me tell you a story." Her hands start glowing.

"Please no." I roll my eyes.

"In the beginning of time, the Supreme Lord made me a promise. He told me I could become a god, me, a lonely witch, the first earth deity, if I created everything. I did. Yet... surprise surprise he betrayed me. Threw me into the abyss. Destroyed my brothers and sisters all because in heaven's eyes we were monsters. Do you know what I mean?" She moves her head near mine.

I look down.

"... Yes." I say remembering Ao Bing. 

"And now, with you as my ether I will finally get my revenge." She smiles.

"You think I would help you?" I chuckle.

She cocks her head.

"Do you honestly think you have a choice?" She asks.
