"Are you honestly crying?" She asks.
"No, of course not. These are not tears but my own blood you have spilled. Along with others." I hiss.
"A worthy sacrifice for peace." She asks.
"Peace? Are you insane?" I ask.
"I'm righteous. This world is chaos and you know it." She pokes my head.
"I know there are flaws chaos is a strong word lady." I spit blood in her face.
She calmly wipes it.
"You cause chaos in your past; did it fill you with glee for hurting the others who looked down upon you?" She asks.
I look down.
"Yes... a bit, but unlike you, I learned." I say.
"I learned as well, monsters like you and I need to rise up from the tyranny of men and gods." She says.
"You learned nothing, and you know nothing." I say.
"And yet I stand higher than you." She rises.
I let out a breath.
"There will be no salvation for you. There will be no one coming." She says.
"I have a family." I say.
"Who would have sacrificed you without hesitation." She says.
"You're wrong." I say.
"Am I?" She creates images around us.
I see myself and their disdain. I look down. In the past, I acted like a mere child. I remember fighting with my mom. I see past memories. Memories I should have long forgotten or at least I hoped to forget. I let out a sigh as she shows me tormenting them and when I learned who I really am. I feel pain burning in my chest. No... no... I tug the vines. I feel pain flashing in my body. I grip my eyes.
"Please... stop." I say.
"Does it bother you?" She asks.
I look down. I turn my head.
"See? You're just as monstrous as I am." She whispers in my ear.
She slides her talons down my cheek.
"I know." I sigh.
