"Hanguang Jin, what are you doing?! Kill him where he stands!" One of the clan members yells.

I roll my eyes. I throw my sword at him. It slams into his chest. I pull it back, covered in blood. I glare at Xichen. For most of my life, I had looked up to you. So.. why try to kill Wei Ying? It didn't have to be this way but both you and uncle turned me to this path. I have no other choice now.

"Enough." I say.

Wei Ying walks forward.

"It's time for a new age, our age." He says.

I look at him. How is he always so... confident? My eyes widen as I look at him. He walks up to them. Another clan member charges. I roll my eyes. I slam my sword into him. I throw him back at Clan Leader Nie.

"Brother... your headband." Xichen says.

"It was a gift. Better than the old one." I hiss.

"That's my boyfriend." Wei Ying claps his hand.

I look at him in surprised. Boyfriend? Am I really? We've only been together five months, and he calls me boyfriend. I bite my lip to avoid smiling. Everyone is confused. Jin Zixuan charges at him. Wei Ying ducks the sword and grab his neck.

"Hold this one down for me." He throws him to me.

I nod. I shoot my hand out and a string ties around him like a chain. I grab his shoulder. He looks at me in surprise. Lady Jiang screams. They throw swords at me. I shoot up into the sky and I throw Jin Zixuan out to block them. He winces. I hear the roar. 

"What... what was that?" Yanli asks.

"Today, Lotus Pier falls." He says.

I see the huge mushroom shadows fall down.
