.𖥔 ݁ ˖ So your writing a book and need to make a character, Let's begin making it! (this will be split throughout different pages to make it easier or things may be added here i don't know).

——⭑⋆⋆⋆⭑——

˗ˏˋᵀʰᵉ ᴮᵃˢⁱᶜⁱᶜˢˎˊ˗

⊱ 𝓦hile making a character you need the basics, Meaning we shall be beginning with that very list.. Reader's and writers, Please grab your pen and papers and take notes for your character as you read on! (or comment them if you'd like).

FULL NAME: Every character needs their name, Let's begin with this. While the name doesn't have to have any meaning or even suit the character, It does make finding the name much more easier. I suggest going on Pinterest for name suggestions under "Name inspiration" and finding the ones where it has a picture then the -Name -meaning - language; As it's more easier to scroll down them to find a much more suited one.

Though of course, Googling names can also be a win; Going to websites and looking for the meaning of names or taking ones out of books you've already read.

AGE: How old is your character? Now obviously this will be important towards not only the story and how you write but the character as well. When thinking of the age range of said character you'll want to think on how they act.

- Unless the child was highly traumatised or brought up with highly strict parents then i would say to make the child character more childlike; They don't need to be highly stupid and not know how to exactly speak but add more child like wonder and the denseness to any dangerous situations that they would grow from as the story progresses. (And if their supposed to be matured, Just add a bit of childlike things so people don't end up forgetting the child isn't just a teenager or adult.)

- For teenagers add the feel of being a teenager to it; Doing stupid shit and being pressured into things even if their character is supposed to be matured and smart, It simply give both the character and story more of a realistic feel to them.

- ..yeah i can't say much for adults persay, So just write them however you wish just not much childish (unless that's a character trait or a medical thing).

APPEARANCE: Everyone has an appearance, And while writing a book in any prospective character appearance's are detailed the most. Now, Let's get with making your character's looks!

- What's their hair colour? Be spesifc and detailed with it! "Cherry red" "Strawberry blonde" etc. Of course don't keep saying the same thing over and over again as it would just annoy reader's or look un-proper; Meaning you can find a few colours that look similar and use those terms as well.

- What's their hair length? Short, Long, Medium? And where does it end; Shoulder length, Breast length, Chin length, Ass length, Waist length, Calf length, Etc.

- What's their skin colour? Much like the hair colour find interesting ways to describe the skin instead of dealing with simple "brown skin" "pale skin" "olive skin" make it a tad more fun.

- What's their gender? And pronouns for that.

- What's their body type?

- What's their eye colour?

- Are their any physical scars, Markings or tattoos on them?

- And finally what do they wear? Make sure to keep to the same kind of aesthetic and not move it around so much, Make sure to have the clothes detailed as best as you can (try not to show an image in your book).

STORY ROLE: What part does your character play within the story? And why, What makes them the part they play?

BACKGROUND: What's the character's background? What makes them the way they are, Make sure to add something interesting that really grabs the reader's eye and gives the character a reason to do what their meant to;

- Their uncle died trying to be a hero, So either the character began to hate heroes for being such idiots and getting themselves in trouble and possibly becomes a villain or they become a hero to make their uncle proud.

that sort of thing.

-

LIKES: What does you're character like? This can variey from anything.

DISLIKE: What are some of the things this dislike and/or hate.

NEUTRAL: What are things their "okay" with?

---

⊱ ყes this will be repeating, But this is the important things about a character that fits within a book.

∞ What is your character's role within a story? And why are they deserving of said role?

∞ What makes your character so interesting to read? Within a book not only is the plot a reason why reader's well.. READ but the character's as well! If the plot is shit or non existent who cares when you have good characters? (some but not most)

∞ What is their objective within the story? Sure the book has a plot and objective but the character's could have more than one.. What's your character's objectives and why?

∞ Do they learn anything after the book?

[I'm running out of shit so, More will come by i guess?]
