WANT TO HOOK YOUR READERS?

★ Are you wanting to hook those readers into your story right away?★

› Let's start with a character the characters, To make your reader's hooked into the story you have to make these character's interesting but not forced and screaming "I'm unique! Pay attention to this book!" give the character's more of a human feel to them, The emotions and feel to the character is what has the reader's hooked and interested within how the character's would go on.

› Next up the introduction to the book(and/or character); 

1. It doesn't have to be so interesting or affect the story in any way, Introduce your protagonist in a situation in which they make a small, But interesting choice. Seeing them do a little different by choice makes them interesting.

2. Introduce us to the world the character's live in, Take.. My hero academia for an instance(bc i'm too lazy to think of others); The manga and anime introduced it's viewers into their world and gave them the information needed. Basically do something along the lines of that; Hand out the important information(ish) to the readers without making it in their face, Introduce the protagonist of your story having some form of connecting towards said information etc.

3. This could be super detailed and give out information of a world/character if wanted but this could also be quite simple: Introduce the character in some form of situation an example being; Their chased through a deep and dark jungle from some form of animal or group. Their in an alleyway and someone comes by in a dark and suspisious manner-- Showing their a dangerous person. Etc, Make it interesting.

4. Have your first page as something that happens in the future; Leave it on a good cliff hanger so of course the reader's don't know what happens.. A good enough example of this would be the Sonic movies and even The Emperor's New Groove. Again, These could be basic and calm or dramatic as hell; And they don't need the MC talking over either, I'm just too lazy to think of any that don't talk over.
