I feel another thing slither past my leg. I look down at the water. It's so murky. I can't see a thing. Maybe it was just a twig or something. However, there were ripples around me. The water definitely held secrets. Secrets I'm not sure I want to know.

"Keep up Battosai, keep up. Despair isn't the only thing that lurks here." Tshuyu says.

"Thank you for the warning." I say.

Something slips past my foot again. I turn. 

"There's something here." I say.

"There are many things that lurk in the water." Tshuyu says.

"Anything big?" I ask.

"You already know that answer." He turns.

"Yeah, I'd really don't want to find out." I turn and start walking. 

Something pulls my leg.

"Orooo!" I slam into the ground.

I grab a twig and slam it into whatever's picking at my leg. Something jumps out of the water. Some kind of monster fish, with human arms and legs. I dodge it as it lunges for me. It glares at me. Well, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised at the sight of these creatures. 

I take a stance. It lunges at me again. I dodge. Another one jumps up from behind me. I jump sideways to avoid their teeth. Their eyes dart at me. I draw back. I take a stance. They jump at me the same time. I spin around. I jump back. I see they have large eyes. I realize what I can do. One charges at me again. I turn and throw the stick out. I stab one of its eyes. It belches and yells. The second draws back into the water. The one I stabbed slams back into the water. I let out a breath.

"Well, well done Battosai." He starts clapping.

I turn to him.

"You are as good as we expected. The Supreme Lord of Hell will be most pleased." He says.
