"It is a pleasure and an honor to welcome you, Battosai, to the Plains of Despair, the entrance is long to the first Gate." Tshuyu says.
I let out a breath.
"It's a swamp." I say.
"Yes." Tshuyu nods.
Surprisingly there was tall grass. It was withered and stripped of mass. It looks like the grass are skeletons. Bones and blood littered the grounds. There were... people like trees. People with branches growing out of them. People rooted to the ground. There were thousands.
The water was not too deep. I had to be careful. My foot slips into a puddle. I wince as I slam into the water. I look up at a tree figure. I realize it's crying. I stand up. I look down. The masses of water were tears from these people. I stand and brush myself off.
"How did these people get here?" I ask.
"If there is a mass of turmoil and a heartbreak or if they have been broken in their previous lives." He answers.
"It's sad." I say.
"You haven't seen anything yet, hurry up, do not linger in the water." He says.
I feel something slither past my leg. I jump.
"Oro? What's in the water?" I ask.
