He leads me down the stairs. It feels cold and flaming. I can feel the smoke crack my lungs. I let out a breath. I see the long line of tortured souls. A terrible fate awaits all of us here, and I'm no different. Maybe my fate will be worse than any other souls. I know he's taking me to my own doom, but... I feel my wounds; I don't want to fight him.
"Are you tired?" He asks.
"Oro?" I ask.
"I've been meaning to ask you this. The Legendary Battousai always fights. Yet you stand here, and I wonder why you don't try to kill me, not that you can." He says.
"I guess... I know you're right. I am tired." I say.
"Are you tired of fighting?" He asks.
I let out a breath as I put my hands on my hip.
"Yes, I am so tired. I'm exhausted in blood and tears." I say.
"Good. It makes it easier for me, not quite entertaining but easier." He says.
"I'm glad." I say.
"You shouldn't be." He says.
"I know but I am." I say.
