We managed to get out of the gate and something that looks like the sun covers my eyes. I wince as I put my hand in front of my face. I blink several times, and I see a large stone sea with a long line of souls. I see horrifying statues on high columns. Statues that moved and screamed. I look down at the ground and I see bodies chained to the ground. They were all alive. I see a sea of blood and bones. I bite my lip.
"This place is... so sad." I say.
"Well, it is Hell for a reason Battosai." He points out.
"Yes." I say.
I feel a couple of tears drop from my face.
"You will learn that there are no tears in Hell." He says.
"I'm sorry." I say.
"Come along, this will be quite a long journey. We must pass through the Seven Gates." He says.
"Seven Gates... like the Seven Deadly Sins?" I ask.
"You've got some clue for that murderous brain of yours, but the Seven Gates are far worse than you could ever imagine." He says.
"I will try to." I say.
He nods. He starts leading me down the stairs. They're cold and searing. I look at the stairs. They drip blood. I turn. I see the line of souls. How many of them did I kill? I know I deserve to be down here instead of the pearly gates.
