Another day came, as Chaeyoung put her steps inside the school, she used to love it here, and she still does, but she got tired of all the rumours roaming about her. First, it was a rumour about Dae Jung and her, then it became about Jeongguk and her.

The Dae Jung one was taken lightly by people, as they joked around it but suddenly, when it came to Jeongguk, they weren't joking anymore. Everything was so serious and gloomy and Chaeyoung hated it the most. She had already lost a good friend because of that and she couldn't afford to lose more.

Chan Mi, on the other hand, could not break Yugyeom's heart just like that. Needless to say, Yugyeom was a very sweet and caring guy even though his crazy side came out sometimes. 

As she got to know him better, she realised that these feelings they were feeling were new, and they can change drastically. And breaking up with Yugyeom may bring a bad impression to Jeongguk.

She spent many sleepless nights, tossing and turning in bed, thinking about what she was doing. Why was she running behind someone like a crazy person, not giving attention to someone who is treating her wonderfully? Why is she so ready to ruin Chaeyoung's life when she loves her so much, she was such a nice friend?

She had no reason to do these all but a certain pressure was creating in her mind making her do these. She scrolls through the pictures of her and Yugyeom just to see how reverently he loves her but she just puts up a façade in front of him. She felt tortured with so many things building in her, which made her feel directionless.

She wondered often if it was because she got peer-pressured by her friends like Dasom and Aeri but she also knew Dasom and Aeri were not that bad. Dasom and Aeri on the other hand wondered themselves what made them act this insensitive and reckless. 

Dasom and Aeri were not the types of people who are bullies but this time, they know they are doing wrong but can't stop themselves.

Was it the new changes, the new growth in them, mentally and physically? Because they were unsure of it, everyone was unsure of what was happening, the new transformations which can lead to further drastic changes in life. 

Because the things they felt, were new, unsupervised, which can change a lot in every teenager. And none of them informed their parents about this, afraid they would flip out. Chaeyoung was especially afraid because her results had not been up to the mark for some months. 

She felt if she told her parents they would scold and slap her maybe, but she didn't know. A small voice in the back of her mind was always saying to tell her parents about it but she tried to ignore it.

Chaeyoung entered the school premises and into the hallway as she saw a huge commotion near class nine B. More importantly, she saw her best friend Lisa in that and everyone was trying to tell Dong Hyun something. She kept her bag inside the classroom and walked up to Lisa calling her and dragging her out of the crowd.

"What's going on?" Chae asked curiosity evident in her eyes. "Dong Hyun is going to propose to Year," Lisa said as Chae choked on air. "What?" she asked shocked at the sudden commencement of this event of Dong Hyun proposing to Year. "Yeah," Lisa said before she made her way towards Dong Hyun again as Chae stood there fiddling with her fingers.

Suddenly Dong Hyun boldly moved towards Yera as Chaeyoung half smirked and had a half-shocked expression. Dong Hyun started to walk towards Yera and called her. "Yera, I like you, so do you want to -" he paused taking a deep breath calming himself as Yera looked at Chaeyoung with desperate eyes.

Chaeyoung immediately hurried towards her and one person accidentally blocked her path. "Either you move, or I will move your bones from their original places," Chaeyoung warned as the person moved away rather fast. "Dong Hyun, just give us a moment," Chaeyoung excused them from the crowd that had stood to watch the drama.

Dasom ran towards them, being Yera's best friend and they huddled in a corner. "What do I do?" Yera asked terrified and Dasom told her, "Do what your heart wants!" 

Chaeyoung nodded agreeing with Dasom fully and said, "Look this is new, and even though it is a new experience think about it alright?" and Yera nodded at their words.

"Oh, fuck your heart, listen to us, this is a new experience, like come on, don't break his heart." The typical high school popular girls or rather bitches told her and Chaeyoung rolled her eyes. Dragging Dasom out she whispered, "What the hell are they doing?" 

"Thinking about how this will benefit Dong Hyun probably," Dasom replied and Chaeyoung knew that wasn't it, it was that they didn't want Dong Hyun heartbroken, even if it meant completely disregarding Yera's feelings and just basically wanting them together by any means.

"Okay guys, let me talk to him," Yera said as she turned to him and said, "Dong, I really like you too, but right now I am not ready to be in a relationship, please understand that," as Dong Hyun sighed and just went away. The girl group glared at Yera before going to console Dong as Yera stood there silently.

The crowd melted away like butter in a child's mouth as Year turned slowly towards her two friends and said, "Oh god, I shouldn't have done it." Dasom hugged her as she whimpered slowly and Chaeyoung stood there silently, contemplating whether she should stand or go away.

Dasom was never a bad person by heart but she only made a plan with Chan Mi because her friend was so head over heels for Jeongguk. She hated the fact they all have to break one heart to save another. The same was the reason for Aeri.

The lunch break came faster as the sky grew darker and gloomier as if it also feels what everyone was feeling right now. It indicated that even in this weather it will rain like nothing ever had left Yera and Dong Hyun's friendship scarred but one incident suddenly did.

Chae came out of the classroom alone since Chan Mi was absent and walked towards Lisa's classroom. "Girl missed a lot of shit, bad luck of Chan Mi," Chae clucked her tongue when she got surrounded by those school bitches and Dong Hyun who was their friend and even Lisa. 

Sometimes all Chae wondered how the hell Lisa and Dong Hyun were friends with those girls, who were total idiots compared to the nice hearts of Dong Hyun and Lisa.

"You- you did this to him," they hissed at Chae who rolled her eyes and looked at Dong Hyun who just nodded his head. "Dong, let me just talk to you personally," she pulled him towards a corner and said, "and you please stay there," referring to the girls.

"Okay look, she didn't want this, do you want this now, when she is telling you to wait for her and trust me, she will come around," Chae said as Dong Hyun exhaled nodding his head slowly understanding the situation.

Oh how drastically everything was going to change, how a different heart will be broken, how someone would tell someone to do something, but they would do something else and how at the end of the day, a heart will be scarred permanently for life to come.

Okay, I think it is kind of a filler chapter, lol. I have a computer science exam and I don't even give a fuck lol. Now I have decided to curse freely because BTS is. Okay anyways I know reads will be less, and votes too but anyways we are in the second half of the book. So enjoy this long-later update, I am not sure if that's a thing but anyways enjoy~~
