BTS Dorm

"Happy Birthday, hyung!" Jeongguk said to Jimin who hugged the younger boy lovingly saying a 'thank you'. Jimin was really happy since he could celebrate it with the people he loves which are Bangtan and his own family who came from Busan. Taehyung and he had plans with their high-school friend later that evening too.

"Okay, Gguk-ah get ready I will drop you off at school," Jin said as Jeongguk hurriedly put on his yellow school uniform and jacket and took his bag and left with his Jin hyung, while Jimin and Taehyung went to their school together occasionally laughing on inside jokes.

"So, how's school, maknae-ah?" Jin asked and Jeongguk replied, "It is alright, hyung." "Don't you have a crush or anything, you never open up to us," Seokjin sighed as they took a turn in the road. "No, nothing," Jeongguk said thinking to himself whether to spill about Chaeyoung or not. They reached the school and Jeongguk bid his hyung goodbye and entered the school premises.

SOPA

Aeri, Dasom and Chan Mi were chatting among themselves as Yera and Chaeyoung entered and sat down. Soon after the boys entered too along with the other students who were left.

"Chan Mi, we need to talk, in private," Jeongguk whispered to her and she got extremely excited just at the idea of her and Jeongguk alone. Regaining her composure she chatted along with the other girls, internally smirking at Chaeyoung.

During the lunch break, Chan Mi got dragged to the corner of their school ground by Jeongguk. "Yeah so how do I say it? Do you like Yugyeom?" he asked. Chan Mi quirked her eyebrows asking, "Why do you want to know?" "Well he kind of likes you, and I think- "he started but Chan cut him off saying, "Stop the bus Ggukie, Yugyeom likes me?" "Yeah, so- "he started again but Chan said, "Fine, I will see about that don't worry."

"Okay, um my name is Jeongguk!" said the poor boy who got startled by the sudden nickname. "But I will call you Ggukie, anyways do you like Chaeyoung?" Jeongguk was extremely uncomfortable with the nickname from Chan Mi but removing that aside he said, "Well I am not sure."

"Which means, you were thinking of liking her back?" Chan Mi asked trying to hide the anger and jealousy in her tone. "Look, I need some time to figure out my feelings for her- "Gguk said to which Chan Mi scoffed lightly. "She is not even a girl, Ggukie," she said smiling sarcastically. "Huh? Of course, she is! "Gguk said and Chan Mi replied saying, "Right yeah, not by sexuality I am saying by behaviour."

"How do you define a girl or a boy or any other person by their behaviour? "Gguk asked and Chan Mi said, "Oh my innocent Ggukie, have you ever seen her with the slightest makeup?" "Why would she wear makeup at school? It is not a party!" Gguk reasoned. "No! And her hair, tightly tied back with that ugly ponytail revealing that stupid forehead. She is fat and chubby, unlike a pretty girl!" Chan Mi released her breath after saying all that.

Meanwhile, Jeongguk felt a dilemma inside his mind as he tried connecting the dots with what Chan said about Chae. Was she all of that? Should he consider his reputation before he does of his feelings? Does his choice matter less than what his friends think? Does his heart matter less than his pride?

Chan Mi, on the other hand, was extremely proud of herself for successfully manipulating her Ggukie against that Chaeyoung. Now all she had to do was wait and watch him fall out of love for Chaeyoung and instead fall for her. "Bye Ggukie!" she said in a sickly sweet voice and left.

Back inside the class Chan Mi came and asked, "What did I miss?" "Oh, not much" Chaeyoung smiled at her friend genuinely unaware of all the things going on behind her back. "Chaeyoung, do you like Jeongguk?" she asked. "Well, I am not sure, let's see-"Chaeyoung said but Chan Mi cut her off saying, "Chae-ah Gguk is not that good-looking you know that right?" "Not everything depends on looks, Chan," Chaeyoung said smiling lightly and left.

Dasom pulled Chan Mi and asked, "Spill stuff, what the hell happened?" Chan Mi replied, "Okay, not much successfully Jeongguk is against Chaeyoung but Chaeyoung isn't listening. Oh also, Yugyeom likes me!" "So what about the last thing? Get that stupid stick out of your way!" Dasom whisper-yelled.

"Dasom-ie chill, I will don't worry too much!" Chan said and Dasom mouthed, "You better!" The end of recess bell rang as all the students returned to their classes. The classes went on properly until the end of the last period. All of the students packed their bags and started leaving when suddenly Yugyeom said, "Chan Mi, I need to tell you something."

The whole group halted to a dead stop as they intently listened to the already interesting conversation. "Yeah tell," Chan Mi played along knowing where this is leading to. "Chan Mi I like you, I know you may not like me back but I do and I want to ask you if you would like to be my girlfriend."

A moment of dead silence followed where everyone looked at Chan Mi waiting for her answer. Meanwhile, even though Chan Mi remained cool about it her thoughts raced about what to answer to Yugyeom. She could easily just dump him but where would be the fun in that? Thus she thought of another idea to implement on him, a way she could get rid of him and also let Jeongguk fall for her.

"Aww, sure Yugyeom I would love to be your girlfriend, which is so sweet of you!" Chan Mi exclaimed and everyone cheered as Yugyeom smiled getting flustered. They all left after wishing the new couple and suddenly Yugyeom asked, "Chan Mi, do you want ice cream?"

"Yes, of course," Chan Mi said giving her best fake smile which Yugyeom was too naïve to notice. Chaeyoung who was waiting outside for Chan Mi waved as she came out.

But instead of letting them get together, Jeongguk who was with the new couple told Chae, "Get out of their way, why are you here disturbing other people?" What surprised Chae was Chan Mi didn't even defend her and thus left after showing a middle finger to Jeongguk.

Dasom suddenly popped out of nowhere and pulling Chan Mi aside she asked, "What the hell? You said you were going to remove him." "I will again don't worry so much Dasom!" She smiled as she walked back to Yugyeom and Jeongguk.

Writing incidents that happened two years ago is so frustrating, I have forgotten half things lol. And I finally made a schedule for this book and it will probably end before my next birthday which is on 13th March, yeah I know it is too long. But I sorted out stuff and now I am going to update every weekend with surprise updates occasionally.
