Deep Within Maki' Mind

MAKI' POV

I sat up feeling cold as I appeared to be sitting on top of a table. The table oddly felt familiar & resembled the stone I had just touched.

"Hello ? Anyone there ?", I called out as I began to get off the table. I walked a little to a window as I looked up finding a full moon. A guy seemed to be standing under the moon as I approached him slowly. "Uh, hello ?" I said once more as the person looked at me.

His eyes weren't a regular wolfblood yellow. They were like a light lavender when reflected in the moonlight. "こんにちは、マキクンです。 お待ちしておりました。" (Hello, Maki Kun. I've been expecting you.) I took a few steps back as I gave a frightened expression. "Where am I ? Who are you ?"

The wolfblood before me looked powerful & calm. He didn't seem affected by my responses at all. "You're asleep. I am Watanabe Enmei. A god of the moon..." I steadied my breathing as I joined him, but keeping under a tree as to shade me from the moonlight.

"A god ? How come I've never heard of you then ?" I noticed at Enmei began to strain a smile at this question. "確かにあなたのことは聞いたことがあります。 影の街の外れから来た半狼族のヒロタマキです。" (I've certainly have heard of you. Hirota Maki, a half wolfblood from the outskirts of the shadow city.) I frowned as I made eye contact with Enmei, "What do you want from me ? Why am I here ?"

"Wake up !", Enmei yelled in an earsplitting tone before there was just silence again.
