the guy stared at the screen, as always, frowning at the fact that he upsetted the girl

the weird feelings he kept getting when they talked wouldnt vanish even afyer they had stopped.

he threw the phone onto the bed before collapsing next to it, fiddling with it while he rested his head on his arm, tilting it sideways so that he could stare at the screen, in hopes that it would light up soon with her text.

he sighed as he waited as patiently as he could, too many thoughts running past his mind which disabled him from even thinking straight.

whereas, the girl happily sat by the table, jotting down on the same old notepad for the second time that day.

her same pigmented lips curved in the opposite direction from the morning, into a smirk which held deep secrets.
