Each time that Iv woke up that night, only a little bit of time had gone by. It was such a light night and she just couldn't stay asleep.

The thoughts of what Noah went though kept her awake, a cold stone in her chest.

Beside her was Noah, who seemed to be in the deepest of sleep. He was quite adorable in such a peaceful state. She was grateful he felt safe with her, that he trusted her.

After everything he told her before bed, all she wanted was for him to have a moment of piece, not to mention she wanted Alexa to pay for what she's done.

If it weren't for Noah being in such an awful state right now, she would've already left to beat the shit out of her.

She tended up a bit at her phone buzzing, seeing someone calling her, an unrecognizable number. She let it go to voicemail, answering unknown numbers was never something she did; God knows who's at the other end of the phone these days.

The same number called again, could it be something important? It didn't look like any number she had, so she let it go to voicemail again.

But once more, another call, the same number.

Iv let out a frustrated sigh, picking up the phone call. "Hello..?"

"Hi, is this Ivangelys Anderson..?"

A cold chill went up her spine at the mention of her name, who the hell called her?! "Yes, who's this?"

"My name is Sagebrush Cipher, I'm looking for Noé."

Her eyes widened a little before looking at the sleeping Noah. She had the same name as the sister he's talked about before, but she ven so, how could she know it was her?

"... how'd you get this number?"

"Through a friend of mine, Nathaniel; I called him after Noé wouldn't pick up and he told me to call you. Apparently you're close with my brother."

"I am." Iv replied, not really that convinced with the whole situation, but decided to play along.

"Do you know where he is? I need to talk to him."

Actually, screw playing along. "Look, lady, I Don't know who you are or if you're really his sister, give me one good reason I should trust you."

The girl went silent for a bit before taking a deep breath. "I don't have anything to show it's actually me, but just please let me talk to my brother, he'll know it's me."

Iv thought for a moment, if it really is his sister, it would make him really happy. She let out a sigh. "Alright, let's say I believe you for now; Noah's asleep right now, he's had a hard day. Can I call in the morning?"

"Yeah, that's fine. Thank you, Ivangelys."

She cringed, resisting the urge to groan. "Iv is fine."

"Sage." The girl said. "I'll wait for your call."

With that, Iv hung up, letting herself fall back onto the bed with a heavy sigh.

'Guess we wait until morning...'

Noah let out a small groan as the bright sun hit his face, his eyes opening tiredly. "Morning already...?"

He then noticed a small pressure from his chest, making him look down, cheeks pink at the sight. Iv was snuggled against his chest, peacefully sleeping with her arms around his torso.

A small smile grew on his face, she looks so cute..

He grew even redder when she shifted a little, her eyes opening. She then looked up, her face growing a soft pink at the sight. Neither of them pulled away; it was a strange feeling, they enjoyed each other's warmth.

A small and shy smile soon grew on Iv's face. "Morning, Goofball..."

Noah chuckled a bit, smiling back. "Morning..."

She snuggled closer, not wanting to pull away. Maybe this was wrong, he did just leave from an abusive relationship, but it felt so nice..

Growing a little darker, Noh chuckled. "Am I comfortable...?"

"Don't be creepy..." She muttered against his chest.

"I'm not creepy...!" He gave a small pout, his cheeks cutely puffed.

Iv couldn't help but giggle at the sight. "Aw, did I offend you..?"

"Yesh.."

"Poor baby.."

"I is not baby..!" He gave a stubborn yet child-like expression, making her giggle once more. "Nu laugh at me..!"

"But you're so cute..!"

"Nu!"

Another giggle, making him grow darker. How was she so adorable..

Noah huffed. "I'm not cute."

She looked up at him with an innocent smile. "Yesh you are."

"Shush!" He pulled away to stubbornly crosses his arms.

Iv held in a laugh. "Nu!"

"I'll squish you!"

"You're still cute!"

He lied down on her stomach, getting a squeak of surprise. "Ey!!"

"I warned you!"

"Get off, you're heavy!"

"Say I'm not cute!"

"Okay, you're not cute!"

Noah crawled off, letting out a stubborn huff. She let out a heavy sigh as the room stayed in silence for a few seconds, then she spoke. "You're adorable."

As he was about to lie on her stomach again, she quickly grabbed his wrist, both of them trying to pull away as they laughed.

When they both stopped laughing, their faces grew red; Noah hovered on top of her, their faces only inches apart as they held hands. Both were so flustered by this that they only stared into each other's eyes for a few minutes, even though if felt like an eternity.

Soon enough, Iv cleared her throat, signaling him to crawl off as she sat up. "Anyways, um.. something happened while you were asleep last night.."

He immediately grew worried. "Huh..?"

"Someone called me looking for you, she said she was your sister.."

Noah's eyes quickly widened at her words. "W-Wait, Sage called..?!"

"That's what she claimed, but I've never seen or heard her so I don't know if it's really her.." She grabbed her phone, offering it to him. "She wants you to call her.."

He stressed at the phone for a while, soon taking it and looking at the familiar number with a distant look. Taking a deep breath, he pressed the call button, biting his lip.

He waited.

And waited.

And waited..

...

"Hello?"

He tended up at the voice, which he recognized instantly. "S-Sage..?"

"Noah..?!"

"Y-Yeah, it's me.."

"Where the fuck have you been?!? I've been trying to call you since last night!"

"I heard, I just.." His gaze shifted over to Iv who walked into the room after getting some coffee. "Life hasn't been so nice to me lately.."

"I know, I sensed it, that's why I've been trying to call you..!"

"Look, I'd love to explain, but it's so much and-"

"That's fine, you can tell me when I get there."

"Get where?"

"To your apartment."

"Wait what?!"

"I was worried, N! I seriously thought you- you died or something..!"

Noah stayed quiet for a while, soon letting out a heavy sigh. "Alright, but I'm not in my apartment, I'm at a friend's, Iv. Tell me when you're in New York and I'll tell you from there."

"Okay, I'll see you then."

After hanging up, he let out a shaky sigh; Iv offered one of the mugs she had in hand. "You okay..?"

He nodded, taking the mug. "I-I will be.."

She then placed a hand on his shoulder. "Hey, it'll be alright, you'll see.."

A small yet warm smile grew on his face. "Thanks, Iv.."

"Don't mention it.." She smiled back.
