The office buzzed with its usual energy, but today, there was an undercurrent of anticipation. Wonhu could feel it as she walked through the corridors of Carat Empire, her heels clicking against the polished floors. She had a meeting with Seungcheol, and despite their constant bickering, she couldn’t deny the thrill of their interactions.

As she approached the conference room, she noticed Jeonghan standing outside, his expression unreadable. “Good morning, Jeonghan,” she greeted, her tone light.

“Good morning, Ms. Kim,” he replied, opening the door for her. “Seungcheol is waiting inside.”

Wonhu stepped into the room, her eyes immediately locking onto Seungcheol’s. He was seated at the head of the table, his posture relaxed but his eyes sharp. “Kim Wonhu,” he said, his voice carrying a hint of challenge. “You’re right on time.”

“Of course,” Wonhu replied, taking a seat opposite him. “I wouldn’t want to keep you waiting.”

Seungcheol smirked, but before he could respond, Jeonghan entered the room, carrying a stack of files. “These are the latest reports from the marketing department,” he said, placing them on the table.

“Thank you, Jeonghan,” Seungcheol said, his eyes never leaving Wonhu’s. “Let’s get straight to business.”

The meeting proceeded with its usual intensity, both Wonhu and Seungcheol presenting their strategies and counterarguments with precision. Jeonghan watched from the sidelines, occasionally interjecting to keep the discussion on track.

As the meeting drew to a close, Seungcheol leaned back in his chair, a thoughtful expression on his face. “There’s something else I wanted to discuss,” he said, his tone more serious.

Wonhu raised an eyebrow. “Oh? And what might that be?”

Seungcheol hesitated for a moment, then continued. “I’ve been thinking about our current marketing strategy. While it’s effective, I believe we can take it to the next level. And for that, I need your expertise.”

Wonhu’s curiosity was piqued. “Go on.”

“I want to propose a joint project,” Seungcheol said, his eyes locking onto hers. “A collaboration between our teams to create a groundbreaking campaign. Something that will set Carat Empire apart from our competitors.”

Wonhu considered his words carefully. A joint project with Seungcheol? It was an intriguing idea, but also fraught with potential conflicts. Still, the challenge was too tempting to resist. “I’m listening,” she said, leaning forward.

Seungcheol’s expression softened slightly. “I know we have our differences, but I believe that together, we can achieve something extraordinary. What do you say?”

Wonhu took a deep breath, weighing her options. Finally, she nodded. “Alright, Seungcheol. Let’s do it. But on one condition.”

“And what might that be?” Seungcheol asked, a hint of amusement in his voice.

“We work as equals,” Wonhu said firmly. “No power plays, no undermining each other. We collaborate, or the deal is off.”

Seungcheol’s smirk returned. “Agreed. Let’s make this happen.”

As they shook hands, Wonhu couldn’t help but feel a sense of excitement. This joint project could be the turning point in their professional relationship. And perhaps, just perhaps, it might lead to something more.
