I fiddle with the ends of my grey dress as my plane lands in California, my home. I look at the old book on my lap, Pride and Prejudice. I have read the book so many time that it is torn and stained but, still, I love it.

I have been away at a boarding school for the arts in France for a whole year and although I enjoyed myself in London, I am so excited to come back home. I needed to be back home.

I finally am able to get off the plane and I walk to luggage claim to see my bags have already been taken by three people who I know to be my dad, Brooke my twin, and Jason my older brother. Brooke and I are the closest being twins, we are fraternal twins but still share the same qualities: small nose, wavy blonde hair, and blue eyes.

Brooke is the first one to run up to me and pull me into a huge bear hug, "I have missed you so much," she giggle, "You are never leaving us again."

"She is right. I am afraid I won't be able to let you leave for college", my dad says before pulling me into a hug after Brooke lets me go. I also give Jason a hug before we walk towards the car.

Brooke and I catch up the whole entire ride having not seen each other for a year.

"---OMG! I can not wait for you to get into the Greenhouse. What are you trying out for? And you have to meet Daniel. This year is going to be amazing.", she says with a huge smile on her face.

"I can't wait to meet Daniel too! I mean you have told me so much about him, I practically know the guy. And we do not even know if I am getting in B.", I say to her while biting my lip worried about not getting into the Greenhouse.

Everyone for the rest of the ride assured me that I will be fine and will have a great year at the Greenhouse. We arrive at the academy and Brooke leads me to the school leaving Jason and dad. Since the weather was so bad the last few days in London, we decided it would be best just to wait until the sky was clear to take my flight. Hence why Brooke and I are rushing to the sign in line for prospective students.

We get in the line being one of the last people and grab my folder before we walk to my testing room. Brooke wishes me well before she leaves. I walk inside and sit front and center right next to Ms. Suzy.

As I sit, Ms. Suzy gets up and walks to the front addressing the classroom," The following exam is an SAT test identical to the one given to college applicants who are a few years older than you. They get two and a half hours to finish it. You will only have 45 minutes. Mark your answers with the stylus attached to the tablet. We will have the result as soon as you finish. Once you've finished the written exam, you will then take the mandatory physical exam, for the Eagles, or the computer skills exam, for the Ravens. I'll be here if you need me.", a girl comes into the room with a sergeant and is handcuffed to a desk as Ms. Suzy continues her speech," I'm sure you will be fine. Now, anyone can take the SAT under quiet conditions. However, at Greenhouse Academy, we're looking for students who can focus under less than ideal circumstances. I want you all to meet Leo Cruz, captain of Raven's clubhouse. He's agreed to play for you while you take the test, which begins right now. Good luck."

I look up to see a tall, tanned boy around my age who looks slimly built grabbing a red guitar. He shoots me a smile, earning a blush from me and half the girls here, before playing his loud rock music right into my eardrum. OW!

It takes me a minute to get used to the pain but I eventually get used to it and actually find myself humming to the beat as I take the test.

The girl who was handcuffed to the desk manages to unlock her cuffs and walks up to the amp and kicks it over unplugging the guy's guitar. She bows then sits back down and continues her test. The cute boy scoffs in shock, amazement, and annoyance.

The test is easy and I finish it in around 35 minutes; I turn my tablet in to Ms. Suzy. She gives me a small smile before whispering to me that I passed and she is happy to have me back. I thank her and walk away trying not to look at the cute guitar player who has been staring at me the entire test. Do I look okay?

I walk out and see Brooke and another girl sitting chatting away on a bench in the main room.

I walk up to them and begin to introduce myself to the hispanic girl, "Hey, I am Angelina but please call me Angel. Brooke is my sister."

"Hey! It is so nice to finally meet you! Brooke has been talking about you non-stop. My name is Sophie!"

"You got in?", Brooke asks with an excited smile as we walk to the girl's bathroom.

I roll my eyes at my sisters drmatics, "I passed the written, now all I have to do is take the physcial exam", I tell her.

"Why can't they just let you in. Its not like you could possibly fail", she whines as Sophie also gives me a frown nodding with Brooke.

"We can hang out after. I mean I need to know everything about my new friend Sophie!", I say giving her a small hug, as we all walk to the restroom.

Just as I say that a boy walks into the girl's restroom and is talking on the phone oblivious to his mistake.

"Hi.", I say looking at him with a small smile knowing how embarrassed he must feel.

"Uh, excuse me. Mommy, I'm going to have to call you back.", He says nervously.

"Huh, he must be trying out for the Eagles. Don't you think, Soph?", Brook said giving me a wink.

"Yeah, totally. I mean, look at him.", Sophie says giving him a fake look of awe.

" -He's classic Eagle material.", I say rolling my eyes at their mean tendencies.

"-Perfect.", Brooke says nodding at the boy.

"Actually, I applied for the Ravens. I'm not really that athletic.", He says with a small blush.

"-No!", I say with fake shock.

"-Really?", Sophie says.

"-I would've never believed it-Seriously, I'm shocked.", Brooke responds by looking at Soph.

"Say hi to Mommy.", Brooke says with a taunting baby voice as the boy runs out of the bathroom.

"Oh. -Oh, the backpack!", Sophie says as we all laugh at the funny boy. My frown disappears as I think about London and all the things I said and did to some people. Biting my lip, I try and remind myself that I was not that girl.

I leave the girls after that so I can take the physical exam for Eagles's clubhouse. The coach makes me do a few laps and then I work with the uneven bars for the rest of my time. After I finish the exam and go to change for the orientation ceremony. I change into the uniform and put my hair into two pigtails leaving the rest down and go to sit down bumping into a boy with black curls and a girl next to him on the way. I decide to talk to them.

"Hello. I am Angelina but call me Angel. I am so sorry for bumping into you I am a bit of a klutz", I say while I give them a smile. We walk together to the ceremony and I learn they are Alex and Hayley Woods children of Ryan Woods a friend of my dad who died recently. We take our seats as I sit next to Alex. We talk the entire ceremony before my dad walks up and begins his speech.

Ms. Suzy calls each new student up for their club blazer that has the crest and colors and I patiently wait to be called but I grow worried when my name is skipped and they carry on to Ravens.

"For the incoming class that will join the Raven House. Can Hayley Woods, Angelina Osmond-"

I hesitantly walk up to the stage after sending Alex a confused look. Smiling I take the Raven blazer that has my name on it before joking the Raven side in the crowd.

Shooting my father a betrayed look he calmly smiles at me before mouthing that we would talk later. Before waking up to the stage.

"For over two decades, our school has nurtured this nation's leaders. Politicians, hi-tech entrepreneurs, athletes, and astronauts.pioneers, leaders, visionaries and world changers. I believe real leaders come in all kinds of different packages. Some are a nation's scholars, sure. But some are diamonds in the rough, students with fresh perspectives whose intellect cannot be measured solely by numbers. So, please, give a warm welcome to our incoming class", he finishes.

The ceremony ends and we are given our louis. I am already in love with them and thank the heaven's that my dad invented them and I could keep them after I graduate with a lot of convincing.

"Angel! Hey. Where were you? I was looking for you before the ceremony.", Brooke says with a hurt expression, "And why are you a Raven?"

"I got lost and just decided to change and go by myself until I found these two cool people to talk with. Actually one of them is an Eagle. Alex Woods. You should definitely meet him.", I say. I was going to tell Brooke that I was just as confused as her about the entire house situation but before I could, I felt my dad's hand on my back.

"Look at my little Raven," he smiled, rubbing Brooke and I'd back while we gave him the twin death stare.

All he does is chuckle, "I'm sorry pumpkins but, there was only one spot in the Eagles, Alex deserves it, and Angel is capable of being in Ravens."

My eyes widen, "I don't know a thing about computers!"

Brooke nods sharing my shock and betrayal. My dad sighs knowing we were not easy to calm, "I know that, Angelica. Your brother and I have been working to make the Raven house more artistic. Now I know you wanted to do cheer and dance and I am making an exception for you with the circumstances. Instead of computer science class and engineering, you will take dance and gymnastics, as you wished. It isn't the best but I think this is better," he looks at out unimpressed expressions before adding, "This year we are making an arts program in the Raven house. Allowing our students to look into drawing, drama, and music."

My jaw drops as Brooke looks at me with a bittersweet smile, knowing that there was no way I would even consider joining the Eagles.

I hear her sigh before grabbing my hand and pulling me away from out dad, " Since you won't be a part of the Eagles come with me to meet everyone before you go. Daniel cannot wait to meet you.", Brooke says pulling me towards a tall boy with short hair standing with a group of guys.

"You must be Angel. I have heard a lot about you. I am Daniel.", he says shaking my hand with an arrogant smirk. I introduce myself and talk with the Eagles for a second.

"I would love to talk some more", I say, "but I should meet some Raven's."

I walk away from the Eagles group and walk up to Hayley who is playing with her louie.

"Add your number.", I command giving her my louie as she smiles and gives me hers as well.

We put in our information before she leaves to talk to Alex. I was about to walk up to Jason when the cute rocker from my exams comes up to me.

"Hey. I am Leo Cruz. I saw you this morning taking the test you are Louis' other daughter right Angelina.", he says holding out his hand for me. I shake it and look straight into his eyes to be caught in them. He has brown-green eyes almost like coffee with emerald
flecks inside of them. I stare into his eyes for few second more before I respond.

"Yes. Call me Angel, please.", I say with a small smile.

"Well, Angel come on. I will show you the Raven clubhouse.", he says with a smile as he leads the way to the clubhouse so I can unpack.

We talk the entire time we go up and it is amazing how easy it is to talk to him. We act as if we have known each other for years as we tell each other our lives. I learn he has two younger sisters who live in Indianapolis with his mom; he explains to me how his father left after his last sister was born. I tell him about my year in London and my relationship with my family. I also tell him about my mum died giving birth to Brooke and me.

As we are waking Leo stops next to a rosebush and plucks a flower from it, "Here"

He hands me a beautiful yellow rose with red seeping on the edges of it. I am careful not to touch a thorn as I go to smell it.

"It is beautiful.", I say holding it gently almost afraid it may crumble in my touch.

"What is this for?", I ask looking up from the rose to see Leo looking at me with a smile.

"You seemed sad. I wanted to see you smile", Leo shrugs before he turns around as nods his head towards the school.

Leo continuing our walk begins to talk about the faculty before looking up and frowning as he walks up a few more steps to the clubhouse

"Here we are. I would show you everything but Captain's must report to Louis after the ceremony and I am already late. The old students will explain everything and I will see you for supper", he says before giving me a smile and walking away.

I go in and prepare to face the clubhouse I will stay for the rest of my school year.
