"IS THIS REALLY necessary?", draco asked with a bored tone as lily snuggled closer to the male as she's wrapped up in a blanket like a burrito.

"you could always hand lily to me and leav—"

"no! back off weasel!", draco scowled at ron.

draco, ron, hermione, harry, luna, and the weasley twins were currently watching a movie in the gryffindor common room with the help of fred and george, who had smuggled in a projector from one of the professor's classrooms.

cedric would've joined if he weren't busy hanging out with cho, much to harry's dismay.

"can I have a chocolate frog please?", lily requested, to which draco had managed to open the box without moving lily off his lap.

"smileeee!!", hermione said as she snapped a picture of lily with the chocolate frog halfway in her mouth.

draco scoffed as his face of disgust was also caught in the picture.

"ooohhh, can I see??"

hermione nodded as she showed lily the picture.

"aww draco, you're not smiling!"

"you wouldn't be either if some mudblo—half-blood had decided to randomly take a picture of you", draco snarled.

"mud what??"

ron glared at the boy, as if daring him to answer the question.

"oh look! snow white just met the seven dwarves!", luna commented, making everyone turn their attention back to the film.

"I want to be dopey!!", lily said as she stared at the clumsy yet positive dwarf.

"why not", fred grinned, making lily confused.

"I call happy!", fred exclaimed.

"then I call grumpy!", george then said.

"I'll be doc", hermione smiled.

"I suppose I'll take sneezy?", harry said.

"sleepy", ron called out.

"then I'll be bashful", luna smiled.

"that means draco gets to be snow white!!", lily cheered, making the boy nearly choke on his spit.

"what? no, I didn't agree to thi—"

"please draco!! pretty pleaseeeee?? you'll look so pretty!!", lily persuaded.

"I always look pretty", draco muttered.

lily leaned in close and fluttered her lashes, pouting a little and making the boy sigh.

"ugh, fine. I guess I'll be snow white since the rest of you guys are ugly", draco grinned, making ron scoff.

"excuse you! but I'll have you know that I'll look better as a dwarf than you do as some princess!", ron retorted.

"as if! watch me you sod!"

ron rolled his eyes as with a swish of hermione's wand, fabric had appeared out of nowhere.

lily immediately went for the green fabric as dopey had a green robe with a purple hat. quite a color combination if you asked her.

"luna, can you help me cut a straight line please? whenever I use scissors, they always come out funky", lily said, scratching her head.

"sure thing!"

with a quick spell, the fabric swiftly was cut just like how lily had asked.

though it was a bit long, lily appreciated the train that was behind her when she wore the fabric over her clothes.

the girl then asked fred for help on helping her make her purple hat while he made his own yellow one.

everyone's costume seemed to come together, especially draco's. the boy didn't make a dress. instead, he had light yellow pants and a royal blue vest with slightly puffy sleeves. to top it all off, a short red cape was attached to the boy's shoulders, making him the official male version of snow white.

"wow!! you look great draco!"

"tch. of course I do", draco responded as he looked down at the little dwarf.

he couldn't help but think how adorable lily looked in her purple hat and green robe.

"let's head out then!", fred announced as everyone had finished their costume.

"wait, we're going out like this?!", draco asked in disbelief.

"obviously! we didn't make costumes just to sit in here and rewatch the film", george reasoned.

draco felt the tip of his ears turn pink as he huffily marched outside the gryffindor common room.

lily led the group as she started singing heigh-ho with the rest of the dwarves.

"heigh-ho, heigh-ho!
it's home from work we go!"

some whistled while others—like lily—couldn't bring herself to understand how whistling worked.

"heigh-ho, heigh-ho!"

"what in merlin is this misogyny?", snape questioned as he walked out from his classroom to see a whole bunch of students and his daughter marching around like nutters.

"oh look! it's the evil witch! beware, don't eat—"

ron was immediately shut up by snape's harsh gaze.

"papa, do you have an apple? you have to give it to draco so that his princess can come save him with a true love's kiss!!", lily explained.

snape internally screamed as he just sighed.

magically holding a green apple out to draco, the boy hesitantly took the fruit from his potions professor as he delayed eating it.

"it's...not actually poisoned is it?", draco meekly asked.

"yes", snape immediately answered, making the air around them tense.

"obviously not. I'd like to keep my job", snape then said, making draco give out a weak chuckle.

lily watched as snape walked away as draco took a bite of the green apple, slowly swallowing as he was still skeptical.

"how're you feeling??", lily asked with a smile.

"just jolly", draco sarcastically answered, though lily obviously didn't catch on.

"don't mine him dopey, snow white's just a little git sometimes", ron grinned, making draco scowl.

"me?! a git? funny you say that weasel! considering that you're literally as poor as—"

"draco, don't say that. that's mean", lily frowned, stopping the blonde boy from insulting ron any further.

draco deeply breathed in as he glared at ron, who's smirk was wider than the radius of a quaffle.

"anyways, now we've got to go find your princess so that she can save you!!", lily exclaimed.

"too bad I don't think any girl's his one true love", fred snorted.

"excuse you! many girls in the school would love to snog me!", draco proudly claimed.

the weasleys busted into laughter as lily just confusingly watched them interact.

draco was about to stomp off until lily had gently tugged on the hem of his pants.

"you're supposed to pretend you're poisoned", lily whispered.

the rest started laughing even harder as draco gritted his teeth. he huffed in annoyance as he found some random bench outside and laid on top of it.

"oh no!! snow white was poisoned!! we have to save her—I mean him!", lily acted out.

"or maybe we should just let him die", harry muttered, making draco flinch in fury.

lily pretended that she didn't hear that, as most of the times, she pretended she didn't hear a lot of things.

"quick!! we need to uhhh...find his princess charming!", lily instructed.

everyone spread out around the hogwarts garden as they searched for a maiden that was willing to give draco "a true love's kiss".

"would you like to kiss draco malfoy?", lily randomly asked a girl, who just hastily walked away as she was very weirded out by the little girl's question.

lily sighed as she skipped back towards where draco was still laying. though the boy's eyes were closed, he consistently asked himself how he even ended up in this situation.

"draco, I've come to save you since no one else will!!", lily determinedly said.

perhaps it was the hufflepuff in her, but the little girl giggled as she crawled on top of draco's tummy and kissed his forehead, making the boy finally open his eyes.

"dear merlin, finally! I thought I was going to have to wait for one of those dimwits to actually come save me", draco sarcastically said.

lily laughed as she cheered for draco's "recovery".

"I saved snow white!! I saved snow white!!"

ron snorted as he appeared from behind a bush, making draco's face beat red.

"SHUT UP WEASEL! WAIT TIL MY FATHER HEARS ABOUT THIS!!"
