.
"You made her leave?"
Wilford admirably looks to you after hearing your story. Marvin and Dark had already expressed their surprise through small comments that would interrupt you.
Anti, however, had stayed oddly quiet ever since the incident. He didn't even look to you.
"Yeah, Signe is the main one who 'rules' this world now. I'm not sure what happened to Amy."
You excitedly continue the story.
"And-"
"But what about the human-demon thing?"
Dark finally asks the question that everyone was thinking.
"She doesn't want to be human."
Anti speaks up, sounding really, really depressed... or deep in thought.
"Oh?"
Wilford smiles lightly.
"I knew you didn't want to be human."
"You fucking- what?"
Marvin sits up, suddenly interested.
"Humans are fragile, kinda pathetic, don't you agree?"
Wilford goes on.
"Uh, I don't think so."
Marvin furrows his eyebrows.
"It's too late. He's in her head."
Anti admits.
"I failed."
Failed?
He should be happy for you. You're finally in control of yourself.
You've upset h̸i̸m̸.
"Come on, Y/n... he's clearly making you feel sad. Let's go somewhere you'll have fun."
Wilford presses his luck after hearing what Anti had said.
"Wil-"
Dark tries to cut in, but Wilford sends him an uninterested wave.
d̸o̸n̸t̸.
He's right...
"Okay."
You stand up, disinterested in what anyone else had to say.
"Let's go somewhere fun."
Wilford cracks a strange smile, grabs your hand and leads you towards the door.
Something makes you look back to see Anti's reaction. He seemed to be well aware of the entire situation... perhaps this happened before?
Duh, how else would a fling happen outside of a soulmate bond?
Wilford lightly pulls your wrist.
"Are you coming?"
This triggers you to have second thoughts.
And third thoughts.
"Actually."
You start, pulling your wrist away from his hand and turning back to face him.
"I think I don't. I'm more interested in how you reacted towards those two."
Wilford looks at you quizzically... or he pretends to.
"I don't know what you mean.. let's go?"
Go have some fun, you deserve it after all that.
He's lying... how long has he been lying?
You step away from the angel, conflicted by the options you have. During this, your head started to hurt and your vision began to twirl and twist. You stumble backwards slightly and fall, only to be caught by someone. Their identity was unknown: you couldn't see their face and their words didn't quite reach you.
You desperately call out for someone to help you.
"A-Anti?"
