Magic Moment: In Order of the Phoenix, this spell is taught to Hogwarts students in their fifth year, Minerva McGonagall introduced the spell by having the students practice vanishing snails and other small creatures, a task at which only Hermione excelled.

Notes: As Minerva McGonagall explains, vanished objects go 'into non-being, which is to say, everything.'
