A/N: Sorry I'm late, I was exhausted and needed the rest.

"Izuku."

"Mmph."

"...Izuku, wake up."

"Hm?"

Shouto huffs in exasperation and reaches over to whack the freckled alpha over the head with his pillow, effectively startling him out of his sleep. He groans, hair a hellacious mess on his head and brows knit together as he swipes a hand over his face. He's glaring at the ceiling, though his eyes are very much still closed.

"What is it, Shouto?" He croaks, reaching over to pull both omegas against his chest when reality comes crashing into him like a freight train. His eyes snap open and he quickly looks over to confirm his suspicions.

"Where's Kacchan?"

Shouto's eyes narrow at his boyfriend and he contemplates hitting him again. "I don't know, genius. That's why I woke you up. The bed's pretty cold so I think he's been gone a while." He assesses, pulling the covers back to stand. He shivers as his feet touch the cold hardwood. Izuku sniffs the air for a moment, throwing the covers off of himself as well to follow Shouto out. "Scent is pretty faint as well so the idea that he's just gone to the bathroom is unlikely. Maybe he got up to go sleep in mom and dad's bed?"

Shouto goes to agree with him but a faint clinking noise catches his ears.

"Did you hear that?" He asks, ears twitching. Izuku's brow pinches, brow quirked curiously.

"Hear what?"

It comes again, a tad bit louder this time and Shouto makes eye contact with his lover as if to ask if he'd heard it that time. Izuku's only reply is to turn his curious gaze to the door.

"I think it's coming from downstairs."

A fond smile pulls at Izuku's lips.

"Of course. He's in the kitchen. Probably trying to reach the cookie jar on the shelf." He suggests, sliding on his slippers and opening the door for Shouto to go out ahead of him as they make their way down. He doesn't want Katsuki to hurt himself trying to climb the counter.

It's fairly early, maybe around five thirty in the morning from what Shouto can tell. The staircase is illuminated in the pinks and purples and blues of a rising sun. He wonders just how long Katsuki had been down there trying to get to those cookies.

As it would turn out, however, it isn't the cookies he's gone after.

Upon entering the kitchen, they find Katsuki squatting over an open container of leftover spaghetti and meatballs with the refrigerator door wide open. He's eating with his bare hands, sauce and noodles splattering the floor along with his gown and his feet. It's cute upon first glance but the longer they watch him, the more unsettling it becomes.

"Katsuki?"

The blonde freezes right where he is, head snapping in their direction with a mouth full of food still swelling his cheeks.

"Are you okay, honey?"

Katsuki looks down at the mess he's made and a look of shame crosses him.

"H-Hungry…" he says as best he can through his mouth full. Shouto nods in understanding, stopping Izuku from turning the kitchen light on. He'd just embarrass Katsuki even more. "That's okay. You like eating that cold, baby?"

Katsuki hesitantly shakes his head and it occurs to Shouto that Katsuki isn't tall enough to reach the cabinets where the dishes are and chances are that he doesn't know how to use a microwave either. He must've been starving if he'd rather eat cold leftovers on the floor instead of waiting for breakfast.

"Why didn't you wake me or Shouto if you're hungry, babe?" Izuku chimes and Katsuki sniffles, swallowing down his food.

"I-I am sorry---"

"Oh---babe, no, you're not in trouble. Don't cry, it's okay." Izuku assures him, going to crouch next to him and card his fingers through his fluffy blonde hair. "I just don't want you to feel like you have to settle for being uncomfortable just because you're afraid to wake us. We won't get mad, okay? We just want to make sure you're okay, yeah?" He slides his hand down to wipe at the tears on Katsuki's face. Katsuki nods, wiping cold tomato sauce from his cheek with his forearm.

"Let's get you cleaned up and fed with something nicer than cold spaghetti, hm? I don't want you to get a tummy ache. Would you like me to make you some breakfast or do you want to finish your spaghetti? I can warm it up for you."

"There isn't a lot for you to warm up, Izuku." Shouto chimes as he looks into the bowl from over Katsuki's shoulder. The only thing left in it is a lone noodle and a shit ton of sauce. Izuku chuckles at that, but he's unsure if he should be worried or happy about the tiny blonde's sudden increase in appetite. "I guess a better question would be whether or not you're still hungry. It's completely okay if you are, I'm still gonna feed you."

Katsuki nods in affirmation, his stomach growling in agreement. Izuku feels guilty, even though he hasn't actually done anything to feel guilty for.

"Alright. Go on, let Sho get you a bath and breakfast will be ready when you come out; you've got sauce all in your hair. We've gotta get up and get ready to go to class anyway, it's okay." He assures him and Shouto gently ushers Katsuki up from the floor to lead him upstairs. Izuku watches them leave with a fond shake of his head as he gets started on cleaning up Katsuki's mess.

"You're gonna be fine, kiddo."

Katsuki sits still and allows Shouto to blow dry his hair, making sure there aren't any knots or tangles as he teases it with his fingers. Shouto's showed him how to use the shower, getting in with him to make sure that he was clean. He'd called it 'killing two birds with one stone' but Katsuki doesn't understand why anyone would ever do that; it sounds so cruel. Shouto says it's a metaphor. Katsuki is still unsure of what exactly it means.

"Come on, sweetie, let's get you dressed." He speaks softly, making sure his towel is wrapped around him tightly as they cross the hall back to Katsuki's bedroom. He dries him down gently, rubbing him down with lotion so his skin doesn't dry out.

The needle marks on Katsuki's lower belly catch his eye.

He wants to say something every time he sees them but he doesn't want to trigger any panic attacks or bad memories for Katsuki when he's doing so well. The implications of what they are haunts Shouto and the more he looks at them, the angrier he gets. He forces himself to tear his eyes away and clears his throat.

"Okay, honey, what color are we wearing today?" He asks, hoping the playing a little dress up will help quell his trembling nerves. Katsuki's feet swing back and forth from the edge of the bed as Shouto goes to open the closet and steps back to allow Katsuki a moment to choose. He points and Shouto follows his finger.

"This pink one here?" He goes to clarify, taking the dress out of the closet and Katsuki nods, hands clasped together over his chest giddily. It's a pastel pink halter dress that flares at the waist---one that Inko had picked out for him. He likes that one a lot.

Shouto helps him shimmy into it and zips it in the back, making sure it isn't too tight on him. It's a size four and while Shouto feels Katsuki will probably go up a size or two in the next few months now that they're on the right track to getting him healthier, it seems to fit well enough now.

Katsuki patiently waits for Shouto to pull on his jeans and a t-shirt that says 'Plus Ultra!' on it in bold blue letters, taking his hand as the older omega leads him back downstairs and to the kitchen. Unsurprisingly enough, Toshinori and Inko have joined Izuku at the table where there are two spots set for Shouto and Katsuki. Shouto offers them a smile in greeting, allowing Katsuki to release his hand as he quickly shuffles over to the table and shoveling scrambled eggs into his mouth without a word. Izuku snorts out a laugh, petting Katsuki's head endearingly.

"You really were hungry, huh, babe?"

"Is it okay that his appetite is picking up like that?" Shouto asks Inko as he sits next to her and kisses her cheek. She hums, patting him on the back. "I've read up on those drugs that he'd been given and since he's coming off of them, it's most likely that he's experiencing a bit of hormonal imbalance. His body is metabolizing his meals a bit faster than they were before.

"So it's not likely this would put a little weight on him, then." Toshinori sighs. "Well that's alright. We'll get you to a healthy weight soon, sweetheart." Katsuki pauses in his meal.

"I am unhealthy? Is there... something wrong with my weight?" He worries, staring down at his stomach. Toshinori grimaces at his choice of wording and quickly backpedals. "Ah—no, honey, there's nothing wrong with your weight." He tries but Katsuki has already begun to slowly put his fork down. "Tomura used to say that I was too small for boys my age. Is that true? Am I so small that I seem as though I am ill?"

"Great, dad, look what you did."

"I—I'm sorry! I didn't mean to!"

"Katsuki." Shouto calls to him to grab his attention. It breaks his heart that Katsuki seems so unsure of himself---so insecure about the way that he looks. "People come in all different shapes and sizes. There isn't any guideline for how big or small or in-between you should be. You're fine the way that you are and you're stunningly gorgeous, sweetie, don't ever forget that, okay? The only thing that matters is that you like yourself. Anyone else's opinions don't matter."

"I...I am?" Katsuki's voice is so very small, so skeptical of himself. Like he's unsure that he could trust what Shouto tells him and it pissed him off because there shouldn't be any reason at all why Katsuki should think that he wasn't beautiful.

If he ever sees this Tomura asshole, he's gonna kick his front teeth in.

Shouto reaches out to grab Katsuki's hand, pressing his lips against his palm reassuringly. "Absolutely, babe. And if anyone ever tries to make you feel otherwise, you call Izuku and I and we'll make them apologize, okay?"

Katsuki's red up to the tips of his ears, eyes glazed over with unshed tears but he doesn't cry, not this time.

"O-Okay."

Katsuki is going to work with Toshinori today. Inko hadn't thought it was a good idea but the alpha had insisted that he'd much rather like to have the younger blonde where he could keep an eye on him. No offense to Inko, as he's sure she could very well handle Katsuki on her own, but having him cooped up in the house all of the time isn't any better than the situation they'd taken him out of. To get out and see some fresh faces would be good for him and the station isn't crowded so he should be fine. That's Toshinori's thought process anyway.

Katsuki isn't nearly as awestruck as he was upon their drive to the mall the other day, but to be fair there wasn't much to be impressed with. The precinct was located in a more residential area, not as close to the tourist traps as the mall was. Katsuki has found more interest in the car radio on this go around, amazed at the voices talking to him through the box. He had been convinced that tiny people lived inside of it and played records for them all day. Toshinori wants to tell him that he's not quite right but he's so adorable that he just can't bring himself to do it.

Katsuki keeps his fingers tight around Toshinori's hand as they enter the building, huddled close to him as all of the people bustle about. There are some sitting at desks, mountains of paperwork covering their workspaces. Others are standing around a coffee machine, laughing and conversing with one another about topics that Katsuki can't quite comprehend and using quite some colorful words that he's never heard before.

"Shota. Good morning." Toshinori greets a familiar face; it's the sleepy man from the hospital. Katsuki only remembers because he'd continuously mentioned wanting to go home and go to bed the entire time that he was there, but he did help Katsuki to calm down so they could release him. Katsuki doesn't think he's scary---not exactly. More like intimidating.

Toshinori escorts Katsuki to the desk that the man---Shota---is leaning against and tells him to sit down, waiting to make sure Katsuki can climb into the chair alright on his own.

"Good to see you at my desk first thing in the morning, partner."

Shota rolls his eyes, pushing himself up from the desk. "Well, I'd be tending to my own paperwork but someone has been starting trouble around town this morning and you're the only one of us here with the patience enough to deal with the brat. Just thought I'd be here to keep him company so none of the guys get in there and rough him up any." He discloses and Toshinori's lips turn down in an exhausted frown.

"Please don't tell me it's Touya."

"Fine, I won't tell you." Shota quips and Yagi groans. "What did he do this time?"

"According to the call we got, he was vandalizing private property and beat the shit out of the guy who owned it."

"Has that been confirmed?"

"Ambulance carted him to General about thirty minutes ago."

"Great. That's just great. You call his mom?"

"If we call Enji down here, he's going to kill him."

"Could you blame him? He's probably about to get sued." Toshinori points and Shota grunts a non-committal response. "Go on, he's in there. I'll watch the kid." He insists, nodding towards a room to there left with a large glass window.

"You put him...in an interrogation room?"

"I don't have the time or the energy to keep him from picking fights with everyone; he's in time out." Shota counters and Yagi meanders off with a shake of his head.

Touya Todoroki has always been a bit of a troublesome child. Rebellious. Divergent. But Toshinori admired certain qualities about him. He didn't take lightly to being walked over, spoke his mind and stuck fast to things that he believed in. Touya's not a bad kid. He just has a bad way of going about things.

They'd grown a bit of a relationship over the past few years, Yagi having gotten him out of some pretty deep shit in the past. He'd felt the need to look after him even more once Izuku started dating Touya's little brother a good few years back, but he's happier that Touya's...missteps have been less of a headache these days. Vandalism, he could get past. Material things can be replaced and he'd never destroy something that was too valuable not to turn a blind eye too. But if it was enough to start a fight this time, Toshinori isn't so sure.

Upon entering the interrogation room, he pauses to take in Touya's physical condition. A bruised jaw seems to be the worst of it. He remains silent as he goes to sit in the chair across from where the younger alpha is sprawled in his own.

"Hey buddy. That's a nasty bruise."

Touya lets out a dry laugh. "You should see that other fucker." He snorts, bruised and bloody hand going up to play with one of the many piercings on his face. Toshinori visibly cringes and it catches Touya's eye. "Don't worry, the blood ain't mine."

"That's not comforting at all, son."

"He ain't dead and I'm damn sure a broken jaw and nose won't kill him."

"Touya. What happened today?"

The raven-haired alpha bristles, throwing his hand up.

"That racist asshole deserved every bit of ass kicking he got today. You know what the fuck he was doing when I passed on my way to class this mornin'? Hangin' up fuckin' swastika flags and puttin' up Neo Nazi propaganda. He put a sign with the fuckin' KKK logo on it, can you fuckin' believe that?

Not only is he a fucking dumbass for even assuming these people wouldn't kill his ass off too, but there are fuckin' kids in that neighborhood! If you're gonna be a piece of shit, do it in the privacy of your own home and not where someone's kid could be exposed to that kind of shit---"

"Touya. What did you do?"

Touya's jaw tightens and he shrugs.

"I went into his yard and tore all that shit down. Set it on fire with my lighter. He swung on me, I kicked his ass, some old bitch called the cops and here we are." He discloses and Toshinori has to fight back the urge to smile. While Touya's got spunk and a hell of way of going about it, he's got an odd sense of justice. Toshinori can appreciate that.

"Is that all?"

"I threw a brick through his window and called him a cocksucking ass-licker after I spit on him."

"Well if all you did was break a window and burn some plastic signs, you should be fine. I'll handle it but for the love of God, Touya, please try to have some self control next time. It's shitty, I know, but he wasn't doing anything illegal and technically you didn't have a right to destroy his property---"

"That you talkin' or the badge talkin'?" Touya quips and Toshinori bites his tongue.

"Fair."

"You gonna tell my mom?"

"No. But since I have to pay for the window you broke today, you're gonna come over this weekend and help Izuku with some yard work. And you're gonna be nice about it."

Touya groans but he knows that it isn't up for discussion.

"Yeah, yeah."

"Good. Come on, I'll take you home."

"Can we eat lunch first? I'm starving and I really don't want my mom nagging me about not going to class."

Toshinori knows that Touya really just wants to stall for time so that his mother has gone to work by the time he makes it home. Enji means well, but he smothers his children and is incredibly overbearing. He's been trying to get Touya to stop being angry with him for a while now but it would seem the young alpha is still upset about him remarrying after breaking his mating bond with the boy's sire.

Toshinori won't tell him no, but he can't be angry with his dam forever.

"Alright, c'mon. I need to grab Katsuki first."

Touya pauses in his stretching as he stands, quirking a curious brow in Toshinori's direction.

"Who?"

"A little omega that I'm housing at the time. I'm surprised you haven't heard about it from Shouto."

"Please, my little brother never tells me anything." Touya scoffs, following Toshinori out.

#

Toshinori is fairly surprised to see Shota sitting at his desk with Katsuki seated in his lap. The blonde is pointing to one of the many scars on Shota's forearms, the older omega's sleeves rolled up.

"I got this one by accident." He says and Katsuki slants curiously. "Oh. Did you cut yourself during a meal?" He asks and Shota snorts. "No. My son was teaching me how to ride a skateboard and I fell." He explains and Katsuki gasps, small and dainty fingers running over the scarred skin.

"Did it hurt?"

"A little, but my son laughing at me hurt my pride more than anything else."

"He laughed at you? That is not a nice thing to do at all. Tomura says you should help people if they are hurt, not to laugh at them. It is mean."

And as if it couldn't get any more odd, Shota smiles.

"That's sweet, kid. But it's okay. I'm a big boy, I can handle a little scratch."

"That's right." Toshinori chimes in, alerting them of his presence. "Besides, we catch bad guys for a living. Gotta be tough to do that." He says, leaning against the desk and watching Katsuki's eyes float over to Toshinori's company.

"Katsuki, this is Touya. He's Shouto's big brother."

"Big Brother? Like Izuku?"

"Yes, honey, like Izuku."

Katsuki's eyes linger on him longer than necessary and Touya's lips pull into a cocksure smirk, watching as Katsuki floods red from the neck up.

"Hey, cutie."

"H-Hello. I am Katsuki…"

"I heard."

Toshinori aggressively clears his throat .

"Touya. I know you can't help being a flirt with every omega you cross paths with but you'll leave Katsuki alone. None of your teasing---"

"I'm just bein' friendly; he looks like he's so afraid me that he could piss himself."

"Well, he might. So do what Yagi says and leave the kid alone." Shota finalizes, glaring right through Touya. "If I find out that you've bothered this kid or have made him even the slightest bit uncomfortable, I'm gonna kick your ass."

Touya holds up both hands in surrender. "Fine, yes, I hear you. Fuckin' hell, you bitch at me more than my mom does."

"They don't call me the top bitch in here for nothin'." Shota says sardonically and Toshinori snorts out a life. "Alright , alright, let's get goin'. You hungry, sweetheart? We're gonna grab some lunch first."

Katsuki does a little wiggle at the mention of food, face splitting grin spreading across his face with a nod.

"Yes, please!"

"C'mon, let's get goin'."

Shota stands from the desk chair, gently setting Katsuki down onto the floor in the process.

"I'll tell the captain you're taking a lunch break to deal with the Todoroki brat. He'll understand."

"Thank you, Shota."

"Sure."

"Bye, Mr. Aizawa!" Katsuki waves and Shota smiles again, petting Katsuki's head. "Bye, honey. I'll see you later." Toshinori waits until Shota leaves and disappears into their captain's office before he escorts Katsuki towards the exit.

"I could go for some burgers. How about you guys?"

And just as Toshinori expected---

"What are boo---um...burgers?"
