Will was panicking. His crush was Robin or Red Robin to be exact. His crush was a hero and he was simply a boy who wasn't wanted by his parents. He left, he left Tim there without promising to not tell anyone. It's not like he would tell anyone but he never gave Tim reassurance.

I'll talk to him later, before the game or after, I don't know. Will thought. Soon enough Chemistry class came. Surprisingly Tim wasn't there, Stephanie Brown also wasn't there. Weird, Will thought but then realized she's probably Spoiler.

Chemistry class went by fast. Will's thoughts mostly of heroes and who everyone probably is, like Dick could either be Nightwing or the Red Hood. However, he seems too nice to be the Red Hood so Will is guessing Nightwing.

Holy fuck, he met Nightwing and Nightwing liked him. What the fuck.

This was very shocking for Will. He met a whole other side of Tim Drake, his crush. He knows Drake's biggest secret. Wait, holy fuck does that mean Bruce Wayne is Batman??

Will focus, I have to focus on the game that's playing tonight then I will talk to Tim.

After the bell rang Will headed towards the boys' change room. Will walked into the boys change room and quickly changed into his football gear. Getting his head in the game. Other team members rolled in and got changed. Once everyone was dressed the Coach came in.

The team spoke about everyone's position, the plans, and ideas were given by everyone but Will who couldn't stop thinking about Tim. by the time they were all finished speaking and had some practice rounds outside it was almost game time.

Will was their running back, meaning his job was to receive hand offs from the quarterback rushing the ball to line up as a receiver, so they can catch the ball, and Will can block the opposing team from catching the ball. Will hated football, only playing it to make his father proud. He was never proud of Will no matter how much he sought approval from the man.

Eventually his team was called to the field. Running into the field he looked up at the crowd. He saw Valerie and her mother but surprisingly saw Tim and Stephanie sitting with them. This made him wonder if this was so they could ambush him after the game.

The game lasted a couple hours. Constantly running and receiving hand offs from their quarterback, Ryan. jumping up to catch the ball from the opposite team, and blocking them from interfering with Will's team's passes.

After a couple hours of hard work, Will's team won. Everyone headed towards the change rooms but before Will could Tim Drake appeared in front.

"We need to talk," Tim trailed off, not knowing where to go from here.

"Yeah we do." Will agreed.

"So you know the big secret, I guess." Tim started, "I need you to promise me that you will never tell anyone about me and my family."

"I promise you I won't tell anyone, it's not my secret to tell and I just learned about it by accident." Will reassured Tim.

"Okay good." Tim sighed feeling better about the situation. He stared at Will for a moment, taking in his gorgeous features. Will smiled at Tim, causing Tim to smile back.

"You're amazing at football. I mean you blocked the other team from getting the football and it was very impressive." Tim complimented Will, with a big smile on his face.

Will let out a laugh as Tim rambled on about how amazing his game play was, he kept the fact about him hating football a secret to not ruin the mood. "Thank you, but it was all Ryan and Coach."

"Nah, I disagree, it was all you." The two smiled at each other as quietness filled the air. It wasn't an uncomfortable silence, it was breathable.

"I had a question, you can say no if you want to, but i was um-i was wondering if you wanted to go out with me on Saturday. Like as a date." Will stuttered through his question, nervous as fuck.

Tim smiled at him, "It's a date."

Will having a moment of confidence started to lean in, Tim understanding what was about to happen met him halfway causing the two to kiss. It was a soft and gentle kiss. The two pulled away and smiled at each other.

"How about you go change and we can grab some dinner and talk?"

"Sounds good, Red" Tim smiled as Will walked away from him. A few minutes later the two were walking out of the school together holding hands.

i finally finished act one after
about a year of writing chemistry
(I'm terrible at updating but i'm getting better)
I hope you all enjoyed chemistry so far, it's one of 
my favorites to write it's just hard for me, since
i seem to project my struggles onto tim (mostly
with his undiagnosed depression and sexuality issues)
but i am not discontinuing this story and i'm trying to finish
at least one or two stories before the new year so it might be
this story, can't promise anything though.
