Calista Collins was an untouchable woman, both figuratively and physically. She had the touch of death and the blood of others on her hands. She could drain the life force out of someone with one touch. However, for that to happen she would have to hold onto them, skin on skin contact for a few seconds then death would occur.

She wore gloves to conceal her abilities, and to ensure nobody else would die by her hands. Calista had her abilities since she was seven and accidentally killed her mother, her father didn't take that well and neglected her from then on. She sought out validation from her father but he never gave it to her, constantly going out on business trips leaving her home alone.

She craved validation and love from anyone who would give it to her, whether it's teachers at school praising her for her intelligence, her friends parents etc. that was until she met Damian Wayne. He gave her the love she ever so desperately craved. He gave her all the attention she deserved and more importantly, he never ran when he found out about her abilities. He stayed by her side the whole time and never left her.

She fucking loved him. She loved Damian so much even when she learned the truth. The truth about his family, Talia, Bruce, Ra's. Her conversation with Talia may have changed her mind. She wouldn't know until she went behind Damian's back to help Talia orchestrate a plan to bring him back to the League, to his mother. She did it out of love. All the choices Calista made were out of love. Love makes you do crazy things but what's the worst that could happen? She was untouchable.
