CALISTA'S POV...

I watch as my beloved breaks apart, his love for his family cracking. I offer false sympathy, helping him come up with a "solution" to his problems. In reality I'm setting up the long game of cat and mouse.

I told Dick about Damian's hatred for his mother who then suggested to Bruce to not tell Damian about his mother, Talia. It all leads back to me but they surprisingly won't put the pieces together, not until it's too late.

I love him dearly but he belongs with Talia and me. Not Bruce who's an ungrateful bastard. I wonder how long it will take him to see that he belongs with his mother, not his father.

I watched as Damian's face contorted in anguish, tears streaming down his cheeks. His breathing was labored and the pain in his eyes was palpable. He was struggling to come to terms with the fact that his mother wanted him to come back, yet he was so hesitant to do so. I stepped up to him and carefully placed my hands on his shoulders, trying to lend him some comfort.

I looked him in the eye and said, "It's okay. We'll work through this together. You don't have to do this alone."

His face softened slightly and he seemed to relax a bit. I could tell that he felt relieved knowing he had someone he could trust. We discussed a plan to speak to Bruce and Talia in order to get both sides of the story and ultimately find a solution. I reassured him that he didn't have to forgive them right away, but that it was a good place to start. We agreed to take it one step at a time.

Now I sit back and watch this play out. Damian will forgive Bruce, but thoughts of going back to Talia will dwindle in his mind till he eventually reaches out. Then it's game over. I win.

DICK'S POV...

"We messed up. Bruce, we should have told Damian about Talia. It wasn't right of us to keep that secret." I spoke to Bruce, ignoring everyone's questioning glances.

"What's going on? Is Damian okay?" Tim questioned.

"Talia wants Damian back." the room exploded in questions and shouts of disbelief. I shake my head as it begins to hurt from all the yelling.

"What!?"
"Why?"

"Of course she does."

Different variations of those were said.

"Talia wants Damian back and we hid that from him." Bruce spoke again.

Surprisingly Jason was the one who spoke up, "Of course he would be upset with that, he may not like Talia's ways but he still loves her, she's his mother."

"I understand I messed up." Everyone was shocked at Bruce admitting his mistake. Hell even I was shocked he didn't say I messed up too.
