manager: why do you need that?

courtney: I'm a big actress and people start shipping me with other actors.

manager: who do you have in mind?

courtney: norman reedus?

manager: your co star?
manager: no
manager: getting involved with people at your work is a dangerous thing

courtney: who shouldn't it be who I choose and who i think is best for me?

manager: you're in a business where actors need to be with others that have the same status as them

courtney: and norman doesn't?

manager: he has a child
manager: he's not as known as you

courtney: he cares for me
courtney: he defends me from haters

manager: that doesn't matter
manager: what matters is who you're walking down the carpet with
manager: who has a higher status to pull you up
manager: a guy that is going to make you even more known

manager: andrew garfield. you know him. you guys are friends.

manager: without a manager, you'll fade away kind of like your sister.

courtney: i didn't know that managers were suppose to offend my family

manager: honey, every manager is going to tell you the same thing

manager: I'll strike a deal with you
