Jason Todd was never jealous until he met her. She was beautiful, intelligent, and confident. But, she wasn't his. She was his brother's fiancée.

He found himself wishing that he was the one who had won her heart instead. He tried to push down the envy and focus on his own life, but it seemed impossible. He was consumed by thoughts of her, and his brother's, future together.

He constantly saw her at the manor with his brother. Jealousy consumed him. It didn't help that she always talked to him. He wanted to be the one she was in love with, and he hated himself for it. He knew it would never happen, yet he couldn't help but wish it was him instead.

In Remembrance, Michelle Madow wrote: "You're everything to me—you always have been, and you always will be. Always and forever." He wished those words were true for him. But the truth was that she chose his brother. She would never look at him the way she looked at Dick. Jason just has to accept that.
