as theo spent his day lounging at the hotel, i took the day to be a strictly family day. seated in the italian restaurant with my younger sister, i let out a sigh. "kylie..." i said.

"kamila..." she said, mocking my sigh.

"what's new with you?" i questioned.

she took a sip of her drink before responding, "oh, you know, just my usual business ventures, the kylie cosmetics expansion, and, umm, just the usual." she gave me a look that implied that she knew i had something to say. "spill."

"i love him." i confessed.

her eyes widened with shock and she almost choked on her drink. "wh-what? really?! you can't be serious," she sputtered, clearly surprised by my admission.

i nodded, smiling softly at her disbelief. "yeah, it's true," i affirmed, feeling a sense of certainty in my heart.

"that's a first." she muttered before clearing her throat, "i didn't expect this," she admitted, her voice filled with surprise and excitement. "but i'm happy for you. he's seems like a really great guy."

"he is." i beamed, feeling a rush of happiness in my chest.

"so," kylie began, leaning forward. "do you see yourself getting married? having a big family?" she asked, her tone filled with curiosity.

"he already has two kids, so...i think that's all i'd need." i said.

"you wouldn't want kids of your own?" she asked me.

i paused, considering her question. having children had never been a priority for me. i had watched my mother raise us all almost alone, and i didn't think i could ever handle that responsibly. plus, i enjoyed my life without children, and i didn't want to give up my independence.

then theo's face popped into my mind, and i imagined a future with him and his children. my heart warmed with the thought of taking on the role of a mother to his kids, giving them the love and support they deserved.

"well, actually, i wouldn't mind having kids with theo," i confessed, my voice soft but certain. "he's a wonderful father and i know he'd be a great dad to our kids too."

kylie nodded, her expression gentle. "don't make any rash decisions. think it through carefully." she cautioned me.

i smiled warmly at her concern. "don't worry. i will." i promised.

"good. so have you told him you love him?" she asked before taking a sip of her wine.

"no, not yet," i admitted, feeling a mix of nerves and excitement at the thought. "but i'm planning to. i just need to find the perfect moment."

my sister's eyes sparkled with excitement. "i can't wait for you to tell him," she exclaimed, her voice brimming with joy. "and i'm going to be the first one to know, right?" she added with a playful nudge.

i laughed, "of course, kylie. you'll be the first."

our conversation was interrupted by a sudden buzz from kylie's phone, breaking the intimate moment. she glanced at the screen, a frown etching across her face.

"duty calls, unfortunately," she remarked, a hint of regret in her voice. "i'll have to cut our lunch short."

disappointment washed over me, but i understood the demands of our respective lives. "that's okay, kylie," i reassured her, "we'll catch up another time."

"and you're going to cancún directly after this trip?" she asked me for confirmation.

i nodded in response.

she let out a sigh, "then i guess i'll see you back in los angeles whenever that is." she paused and gave me a hug, "love you, safe travels."

"love you, ky." i said as i watched the younger girl leave the restaurant, leaving me to dine alone.

so sorry for the extremely short chapter- i wanted to emphasize that she truly loves theo and is hoping to express it soon!

if you didn't catch on, she's (clearly) had some commitment issues and her telling her sis that she loves theo before telling theo stems from that a bit.

hope you all enjoyed this short chapter nonetheless.
