In the last few years, the world had been allowed to see a lot of things, like the monsters in New York that reduced the city to rubble. It had been the first time that it could be assumed that there had to be much more out there than a god like Thor.

It had been one of those evenings where you came late from your work at the bistro and had to walk through the deserted streets of the city. Usually, you would head home when it was about to get dark. At that time, other people were also still out and about, which was unfortunately not the case when the clock showed close to midnight.

Even from a distance, you could see the broken cars on the road, standing in the middle of the intersection. From police or ambulance, there was far and wide no trace, to hear the sirens were also not. Probably the accident had happened only a few minutes ago, you thought and went on.

The only monster you knew that the world knew was on Earth, but posed no threat, was the Hulk and this, not a new version of it. Great, you thought, now the monsters from New York had spilled over to you in Frisco.
