For the last eight years or so, you've been working in the research department at Stark Industries for Tony Stark, and basically, it's been a great job, but, and therein lay your problem. It was nothing more than your job. Something that paid for your life and your livelihood. Nothing more, however.

"Is it going that bad?" you asked the man who was leaving Stark Industries when you arrived.

"How?" replied Aldrich in a distant voice, turning around only after a moment, "Oh, sorry I..... wait. You work for Stark?"

"Yeah, for a while now," you replied with a shrug.

"Development of.....," Killian began.

"Molecular and cellular biology." you correct Killian, who then tilted his head to the side, "What?"

"I have a colleague, you might want to meet her," Killian commented, causing you to give him a 'no thanks' look, "Just getting to know her. Nothing more."

Of course. If you were supposed to get to know people, it was certainly never about business.
