"Mother fucker!" Jason swore loudly as bullets hit the shipping container beside him. He was currently intercepting a human trafficking ring. The crew's boss being the one and only, Vasilisa Volkov. Jason's rival. The only one to make his cold heart melt.

Jason yelled into his radio, "This is Red Hood, I need backup! I'm near the docks, engaged in a gunfight with human traffickers. I'm outnumbered, and I need reinforcements now!"

"On my way, Hood." Red Robin responded immediately.

"I'm sending Nightwing and Robin your way now. They are ten minutes out." Oracle spoke in a reassuring voice.

Red Robin, Nightwing, and Robin rushed to the docks, weapons drawn, ready for a fight. When they reached Jason, Nightwing shouted, "We got your back, Red Hood!" Robin then turned to Jason and said, "We'll take care of these guys. You handle Vasilisa." Jason nodded and ran off to find Vasilisa. He had to take her down before anyone else got hurt.

Jason found Vasilisa and they began to fight. Vasilisa tried to hit Jason with her baton, but he managed to dodge the strike. He then retaliated with a series of punches and kicks, attempting to knock her off balance.

Vasilisa fought back with her own set of punches and kicks. The fight went on for several minutes until Jason finally managed to take her down with a powerful kick to the stomach. Vasilisa was defeated and Jason had won the fight.

Or so he thought.

Vasilisa Volkov didn't give up easily. She had planned this all out, let him think he had won then surprised him. She had outsmarted him and put him in his place. He had underestimated her and it had cost him. Vasilisa had won.

As the Red Hood placed handcuffs on Vasilisa, she smiled and laughed. She knew that no matter what happened next, she had already won. Her plan was a success.

The Red Hood said, "You think you've won, don't you? I wouldn't be so sure. You still have to face the consequences of your actions."

Vasilisa smiled and replied, "Maybe, but I still won this round. You can arrest me, but I can still hold my head high knowing I outsmarted you."

"What do you mean?" The Red Hood was confused. How does she come out on top?

"Love, come a little closer and maybe I'll tell you." Vasilisa's voice lowered into an alluring whisper.

The Red Hood leaned in, "What is it?"

Vasilisa smirked, "You'll never know. I don't give away my secrets so easily."

"You're not going to tell me?" The Red Hood said in exasperation.

Vasilisa shook her head, "Nope. I'm the only one who knows how I did it, and that's how it's going to stay."

Suddenly an explosion erupted. It was in the direction of where his family was last seen.

"No," he trailed off and when he turned around to see Vasilisa, the handcuffs were on the ground and she was nowhere in sight.

"Red Hood to Nightwing, come in!" Red shouted as he ran towards the explosion sight.

"I'm here" Nightwing spoke before he was cut off.

"Are you guys okay? The explosion was close to you." Hood quickly spoke through his worry.

"Yeah we barely got out in time, I think Red's a little banged up but we're fine. The victims are all out too." Nightwing reassured the Red Hood.

"Did you get Volkov?" Robin questioned.

"She got away." Hood didn't want to speak about his failure to catch her.

"She got away or you let her get away?" Red Robin questioned.
