Walking into the cafeteria, Rosemary and Aphmau looked around for their friends and seeing neither of them, the two frowned.

Daniel had asked her to go ahead of him because he had to ask the teacher something and since they had taken the long way, Rosemary figured that he would've gotten there before them.

'Hmm, he said that he was going to meet us here',Aphmau said, looking around for Kai,'Maybe he forgot'

Seeing that he wasn't here either, Rosemary breathed in slightly and smelling his scent, she looked up, jumping back in shock.

There Kai was sitting on top of the small tree that was inside the school and looked down at them.

'I didn't forget, you're just not looking hard enough'

Hearing his voice, Aphmau looked towards Rosemary and following her gaze, she noticed Kai sitting up on the small tree.

'Surprise~',He purred.

With her face deadpanning, Rosemary watched as Aphmau's face filled with shock and standing into a crouch, Kai jumped down from the tree, landing in front of the two.

Show off.

'Show off!',Aphmau stated, huffing out a laugh.

Looking towards her sister, a small smirk formed on Rosemary's face and she slowly shook her head, her eyes gleaming.

It was as if she had just read her mind.

Twin tuition.

'I can't help it',Kai told her.

Suddenly, the gym teacher walked towards the three and looked towards Kai.

'Alright, cool dude',Mr. Arnold started,'Chill out on the jumping. This is, like, the third time I've had to tell you about this'

With a bashful smile, Kai itched the back of his head and let out a small laugh.

'Sorry, climbings in my nature',Kai told the teacher.

'Yeah? Well, like, your nature's going to get someone hurt one day'

Scrunching up her face in confusion, Rosemary's vermilion eyes squinted slightly as she stared at the teacher and she tilted her head to the side, a frown pulling at her lips.

That didn't make any sense.

'I swear, you kids these days. Thinking you can just, like, parkour off anything! Why in my day, I—'

Turning around, Mr. Arnold saw that the three were gone and confused noise left his lips as he looked around for them.

'Huh? Wh-Where'd they go? Aw, forget it!',Mr. Arnold stated,'Ugh, figures no one respects me! I'm only a gym teacher with, like, a PHD. But does anyone—'

As he began to walked away, Mr. Arnold's voice faded away.

Sitting down at their table, Rosemary sat across from her sister and Kai as they sat next to each other, her fur bristling as she watched them.

They may have been friends, but that didn't mean she liked him sitting so close to her.

Having been paying attention to the two of them, Rosemary didn't hear as someone approached them.

'Hey, Rose!'

Letting out a small yelp, Rosemary jumped in her seat and whirled around, her vermilion eyes wide as a small strike of electric blue flashed across her irises like a lightning bolt; before instantly disappearing.

Seeing a familiar face staring right back at her with wide eyes filled with surprise, a small sigh of relief left her lips and her shoulders untensed as a gentle laugh left her lips.

"Daniel.. you scared me"

With his gaze softening, Daniel slowly reached up and scratched the back of his head, his eyes looking towards the ground as a bashful look formed on his face, red blossoming across his cheeks.

'Sorry, Rose..'

She wasn't paying attention to the conversation Aphmau and Kai were having and instead, she gave Daniel a gentle smile as she let out a small chuckle, slowly shaking her head.

"It's alright, Daniel",Rosemary admitted, her ears slowly pulling back as she cleared her throat and she looked down at the table, a barely noticeable tinge of red coating her cheeks as she looked back up at him,"I just didn't hear you coming"

With an apologetic smile, Daniel's ears slowly fell back as he sat down beside the girl and seeing her smile, caused his ears to perk up once more, his tail swaying a bit quicker.

Which also caused Rosemary's to do the same at seeing his expression.

Hearing a crinkling sound fill her ears, Rosemary's left ear twitched for a moment and she turned her gaze towards Aphmau, seeing that she had placed down a fish taco as she smiled brightly at Kai.

'Ta da! I made a fish taco for you myself!'

Watching as Kai only stared at the food Aphmau placed down and had so generously made, Rosemary's ears slowly pulled back and a low growl admitted from her throat as she stared at the Meif'wa, her eyes narrowing as they darkened.

'I-I-Is everything okay?',Aphmau questioned, a worried tone in her voice.

Suddenly, a loud laugh broke through Kai's lips and hearing this, Rosemary slowly glared at the boy, her fur bristling as low growls continued to leave her.

'W-What's so funny?'

'I already made lunch for today'

But feeling soft skin gently brush against her hand, Rosemary's growls slowly came to a stop and her ears perked up as she turned her head, tilting it slightly as her eyes slightly widened; which gave her a doe-eyed look.

Seeing Daniel smiling at her, caused a small smile to formed on Rosemary's face and she didn't realize, not even for a second, that he was trying to distract her; which also caused her to quickly snap out of her enraged state.

'So?',Aphmau questioned, not knowing about the small moment that was happening directly across from her,'You can just eat both! C-Can't you'

A nervous look slowly formed on Aphmau's face and it slowly went away as Kai slowly calmed down, a small smile on his lips.

'Yeah',Kai said, his laughs slowly dying down and he cleared his throat,'Sorry, it's just that I've never had someone make a lunch for me so I'm not sure how to react to this'

'Y-You don't have to eat it if you don't want to',Aphmau stated slowly, her voice soft and quiet.

Slowly shaking his head, a panicked look formed on Kai's face.

'No! It's not that I don't want to',Kai admitted,'I just— again, I'm not sure how to accept this. So, thank you'

Slowly tearing her gaze away from Daniel's, Rosemary opened her lunch box and a warmth filled her face as her heart pounded within her chest, echoing in her ears.

No one had ever made her feel this way and it confused the girl greatly.

Maybe she'd ask alph— Aphmau what it was and why it was happening to her; she knew that Aaron would probably know as well, but she didn't want to bother him at the moment.

She may consider him a brother, but he was at college and it wouldn't make sense to bother his day with whatever was happening to her.

She was afraid to ask her mother, since she didn't like boys or any talk about them, but then again, at least it wasn't about Aaron.

Her mother absolutely despised him.

Staring at the contents in the box, Rosemary's vermilion gaze swept across the variety of options and she finally decided on opening up a bag of biscuits, taking one out and slowly munching on it.

Yes, it was a homemade doggy biscuit that her and her mother had made and did she care if any human or Meif'wa saw her with it?

Nope.

Slowly munching on her treat, Rosemary took about three out of the bag with her other hand and turned towards the werewolf beside her, watching as he also looked towards her.

Holding out the treats and gesturing for him to take them, Rosemary watched as Daniel's face brightened and a small smile formed on her face as he gently took them from her hand, thanking her.

With a small smile, the beta turned her head away and munched on her treats in silence, the bacon flavoring melting across her tongue in a burst of flavor.

'Does this mean you're going to make lunches for me every day?'

Hearing Kai ask this, a small glare formed on Rosemary's face and she slowly looked up, a dangerous glare on her face but a delicious biscuit was in her mouth so she doubted that she looked that threatening.

Besides, she'd rather finish her biscuits before trying to attack him anyway.

He wasn't worth sacrificing her biscuits and besides, Daniel would probably continue to munch on them until they were gone.

'No!',Aphmau disagreed,'It just means that I'm grateful for your help from before'

With a playful pout on his lips, Kai's eyes glistened and Rosemary's narrowed as she slowly brought another biscuit towards her mouth, a dangerous aura surrounding her but she was quickly distracted by a hand brushing past her's to sneak another biscuit.

Blinking out of her anger, Rosemary looked down and seeing the hand slowly taking out the biscuit, she flicked her hand up, knocking the biscuit out of the person's hand as it fell to the ground.

Hearing a small gasp, vermilion eyes glistened as a small smirk formed on her face and seeing Daniel looking at her, a challenging look filled her eyes.

A stare down slowly began as ocean and magma connected as one, a fiery gaze holding that of innocence.

Slowly, a small smile began to form on the beta's lips and a small chuckle passed through as Rosemary slowly shook her head as Daniel's eyes glistened.

How dare he give her the puppy eyes.

Her worst weakness.

Holding up a biscuit as she took it out of the bag since she had pretty much knocked the other one out of his hands, amusement filled Rosemary's eyes as Daniel perked up and gently took it from her hands, thanking her before beginning to eat it.

"You're really enjoying these biscuits aren't you?",Rosemary questioned, an amused tone in her voice.

Looking towards her, Daniel blinked slightly as he stared at her with a biscuit in his mouth and slowly chewing, he nodded as a small smile formed on his lips.

'Yeah.. they're really good',Daniel admitted.

With a smile on her face, Rosemary began to silently praise herself since she had helped her mother make them.

"Thanks.. my mother and I made them together",Rosemary told him.

Blinking in shock, Daniel's face brightened and an awed look formed on his face as his lips parted, his eyes were glistening so brightly that it were as if stars had formed in them.

'Really?',He questioned her.

Slowly nodding, Rosemary smiled and her tail wagged quicker as her pearly white canines glistened as she smiled.

'You should teach me sometime',Daniel suggested.

Feeling shock fill her body and course through her veins, Rosemary froze as her lips parted and her eyes widened, her body completely frozen.

Sure she knew how to make them, but to teach someone else made her slowly begin to doubt her skills.

"..Really?",Rosemary questioned, her voice quiet and it was clear to Daniel that she was shocked by what he had said.

Showing her that he was completely serious, Daniel nodded and the smile on his face brightened.

'Really!',Daniel explained.

With her mouth wide open in shock, Rosemary felt her heart pound lowly in her chest and her eyes looked between his own, trying to see if he was joking or not.

He wasn't.

But before either of them could say something else, another voice spoke up.

'Aphmau? Rosemary?'

Turning her head, Rosemary's saw a girl with shoulder length orange hair, crimson red eyes and warm ivory skin tone.

"Lucinda!"

'Lucinda?'

With a small gasp, Lucinda's vermilion eyes glistened with joy and she smiled brightly, looking between her friends.

'Oh! Aphmau, Rosemary!',Lucinda exclaimed with a bright smile,'You have first lunch?'

Nodding, the twins smiled at their friend and began to wonder what she was doing there.

"We do actually",Rosemary said.

'We've had it since school first started'

Tilting her head, Aphmau furrowed her eyebrows and a small smile formed on her lips.

'Do you have it too?',Aphmau questioned.

'I do now!',Lucinda exclaimed,'My schedule was changed'

Perking up, Rosemary was a bit confused on why it was changed, but she no longer cared since her friend was at her lunch and her tail wagged ecstatically.

'Really, why?',Aphmau questioned.

Shrugging her shoulders, Lucinda didn't know why it was changed either and quite frankly, it didn't matter.

'I'm not sure',Lucinda admitted,'But, either way it doesn't bother me! I wasn't too attached to any of my classes. But, this works out perfect! I have lunch with my best friends and my boyfriend!'

Hearing the word boyfriend, a protective feeling coursed throughout Rosemary's body and her fur slowly bristled as her right ear twitched.

'Your boyfriend?',Aphmau questioned, before perking up as she suddenly remembered,'Oh, right! Is he here?'

Agreeing with her, Lucinda turned around and called out for her boyfriend, wanting him to meet her friends.

Watching as a boy with dark chocolate brown hair, mahogany eyes and porcelain skin slowly walked towards her, standing beside Lucinda with a cocky grin on his face.

'Ivan, babe, I want you to meet Aphmau and Rosemary'

As Aphmau greeted the boy in a friendly manner, Rosemary slowly stood to her feet and walked towards the couple, before stopping in front of them, her vermilion glare piercing into the boy's soul.

Even though Ivan was almost drenching in sweat the moment her glare was casted his way, Lucinda continued to smile and worriedly glancing between them, hoping that her friend liked him.

Glancing at Lucinda out of the corner of her eye, a small sigh left Rosemary's lips and her glare melted away from her face.

"It's nice to meet you..",Rosemary stated, before her eyes narrowed in on him,"But if you hurt Lucinda, I will hunt you down"

Seeing a flash of fear form in his eyes, Rosemary watched as the boy cockily nodded and gave her a smirk, causing the beta's glare to worsen.

Turning her gaze towards Lucinda, a small smile formed on her face and Rosemary shrugged slightly.

"He's cute, I guess",Rosemary stated.

'Hi! Wow Lucinda! He's cute!'

With a prideful smile on her face, Lucinda smiled at the two.

'Thanks.. speaking of cute',Lucinda trailed off and looked between the two boys sitting at the table,'I see that you two have gotten some cuties here yourselves'

For a moment, anger filled her veins but after fully processing what Lucinda had said, Rosemary's face instantly turned red and her lips parted as her heart hammered within her chest.

'Are you Aphmau and Rosemary's boyfriends?',Ivan questioned.

Snapping their gazes towards each other, blushes formed on Rosemary and Daniel's faces as they looked at one another, magma and ocean pairing together as one.

'No way, we're just friends'

'She says we're lunch buddies since we have the same lunch'

After Aphmau and Kai had explained themselves, Rosemary and Daniel slowly pulled their gazes away from each other as the beta looked back towards Lucinda.

"D-Daniel and I are just friends!",Rosemary stuttered and she smiled towards Lucinda.

Looking between the two, Lucinda could tell that they had most likely felt something for one another and wouldn't admit it.

It was cute seeing Rosemary like this, but Lucinda was going to give her time to tell her when she was ready.

'Ah, so can we join you guys?',Lucinda questioned.

After agreeing, Ivan immediately began to flirt with Lucinda and she giggled flirting back causing a disgusted look to form on Rosemary's face as she let out a noise of fake vomiting, her face scrunched up.

The four of them could tell that it was going to be a very long lunch.

As lunch ended, the four all but rushed out of there and watched as the couple walked away.

Looking between the three, Aphmau awkwardly spoke up.

'So.. t-that was awkward',Aphmau stated.

Turning towards Aphmau, Kai began to copy what Lucinda and Ivan were doing.

'Oh no, Aphmau. You were the awkwardest!'

Seeing what he was doing, Aphmau looked towards him and began to play along, a playful smile on her face.

'No Kai, you were!',Aphmau flirted playfully.

'No, you!'

'No, YOU!',Aphmau exclaimed, her voice cracking.

With a groan, Rosemary covered her ears and walked away from the three, a small cry leaving her lips.

"Oh my Irene, make it stop!",She cried out,"I'm sorry Daniel, I need to get out of here"

Heading towards werewolf class, Rosemary walked as fast as her feet could carry her and pretty much sprinted away from the disgusting scene from behind her, before her sister and Daniel tried to catch up with her.
