All the two shadow knights could smell were chemical cleaners and the bathrooms hand soap as they hid out in an "out of order" bathroom and Zenix paced back and forth anxiously.

It was clear that someone was out to get them and he was quite annoyed since neither of them knew who it was, but they were getting the blame for it since it was their signature tag.

Eyes of lavender continuously followed the pacing boy back and forth, an eyebrow raised and Sasha rolled her eyes, a small sigh leaving her lips as she looked back down at her phone.

'Come on.. come on! Pick up already'

Staring at their leaders name that flashed on the screen as she tried to call, the two Shadow Knights looked towards each other with concern and didn't know what to do.

If Gene didn't answer, what would they do and how would they get out of this mess?

'Oh man, this is bad',Zenix freaked out as his ruby red eyes wide with panic and he reached up his hand, running it through his curly locks,'We're going to get in so much trouble!'

'Zenix, calm down',Sasha spoke up,'You're starting to devolve'

Wide eyes of ruby looked up at Sasha and Zenix slowly shook his head, a frown tugging his lips down.

'I can't help it!',Zenix exclaimed,'Things we're going great until..-'

'Zenix!',Sasha shouted,'Stop, you were doing so well as the leader of the Shadow Knights. Now is not the time to break down'

Shakily taking in a deep breath, Zenix nodded and his eyes glanced down at the floor as he slowly began to calm down.

'You're right.. you're right',The boy breathed out,'Once Gene answers, this should all blow over'

'Right, just act cool'

The ringing had finally stopped and a deep voice came from the other side, confusion clear within the person's tone.

'Hello?'

Clearing his throat, Zenix was prepared to tell Gene what had happened calmly; but that quickly went badly, and the boy began to freak out as soon as he had spoken.

'We're in deep trouble!'

A long sigh left the snowy-haired girl's lips and she slowly shook her head, questioning everything in that very moment.

'What the—? What's going on?'

'Ignore Zenix, he's just falling apart because someone framed us by tagging the Shadow Knights logo all over the entire cafeteria'

A small moment of silence came from the speaker and Gene slowly reached up his hand, rubbing his hand across his forehead in stress, a small sigh leaving his lips.

'Really?'

'They did and now we're hiding out in the girl's bathroom. Basically.. we need your help, Gene'

Humming slightly, Gene looked up and his crystal blue eyes scanned the mostly empty store, moving up his hand as he ran it through his dark locks.

'I see.. so, where are the pictures?'

A deadpanned expression formed on Sasha's face as soon as she had heard those words and an aggravated sigh left her lips.

'You've got to be kidding me!? We can't—'

'I'm waiting for the Aphmau and Rosemary pictures'

'They don't stand still! Every time we try, Rosemary gets pissed and tries to attack us!'

Thinking about just how the ruby eyed werewolf was, a small chuckle-like sigh left Gene's lips and he slowly shook his head.

He should've known she'd try and do something like that.

'Fine, I'll help you guys',Gene finally caved in,'I guess, so, what's your plan?'

Furrowing her eyebrows together, Sasha's lips pulled down into a frown and she tilted her head to the side.

She had a feeling that he wasn't going to like what she was going to say.

'We were thinking about just turning ourselves in and just make the teachers feel bad for us',Sasha explained.

'Yeah!',Zenix agreed,'That's the best wa—'

Before Zenix could even finish his sentence, the sound of the bathroom door flying open was the only thing the two heard ringing throughout their head and slowly, they turned around; but what they had seen, caused their eyes to widen.

Standing there in a glorious form of fury, with her chest heaving up and down in anger, was Rosemary Shalashaka and her dark eyes stared the two down, keeping them frozen in place.

"You two are in so much trouble",The young beta growled out under her breath and her darkened eyes watched as they took a small step back.

'Oh no..'

Hearing this from the other side of the phone, Gene's lips twitched up slightly at the sound of her voice and he slowly shook his head.

She hadn't changed.

'Hey Rosemary'

At the sound of his voice, the beta stopped in her tracks and was almost frozen in place as she stared at the phone in Zenix's hand, her vermilion eyes wide in shock.

She didn't think she'd ever hear her friend's voice again.

Since it was so rare for her to allow people to use her nickname, Gene hadn't really earned that privilege and whenever he had tried, she had lightly hit his shoulder to get him to stop.

Her tail began to slowly sway back and forth, before stopping as her lips twitched up only for a moment.

"Gene",Rosemary spoke up; her voice almost monotone, and then, looked up at the two shadow knights,"What's with the tags all over the cafeteria?"

Before the two could even open their mouths to speak, Gene spoke up for them and Rosemary looked back down at the phone.

'They're being framed, Rosemary, they hadn't been anywhere near the cafeteria the time it happened. I'd really appreciate it if you could help us find out who's doing this'

Hearing this, the young beta sighed deeply and glanced between the two shadow knights in front of her and the phone in Sasha's hands.

She really hoped she wasn't going to regret this, but Gene was her friend and she'd do anything to help out a friend.

Although, they were more like frenemies because of what him and his gang had done to Aphmau the year before.

"Fine. What do you need me to do?"

Walking into the cafeteria, eyes of fire slowly looked around and Rosemary slowly closed her eyes, taking in a deep breath.

The smell of a very familiar cologne and perfume caused the beta's eyes to snap open as they glowed a brilliant blue.

Slowly walking forward, Rosemary looked down at small pieces of black fur on the ground and her eyes widened as she looked up.

Humming slightly under her breath, the young beta walked out of the cafeteria and breathed in once more, before following after their scent.

Maybe Ein and Aphmau had begun to track down the person responsible.

But they wouldn't have gotten too far ahead of her so she was beginning to wonder exactly where they were.

Spotting a familiar head of raven black hair, the beta perked up and her eyes glistened as a small smile twitched up at her lips as she began to run to catch up with them.

"Aph! Ein!"

Watching the two turn around at the sound of her voice, Rosemary watched as Aphmau straightened up and a small smile twitched at her lips as she caught up to them; a small sigh of relief leaving her lips.

'Oh Rose, there you are, I was beginning to get worried!'

Shrugging slightly, a small chuckle left Rosemary's lips and before she could say something, a scent caught her nose causing both her and Ein to turn towards the same locker at the same time.

Knowing exactly what the two were saying, Aphmau walked towards the locker and jiggled the lock, trying to get it open.

When it didn't open, a small frown pulled at her lips and she turned towards the two, slowly shaking her head.

'It's locked tight. What do we do now—'

Squinting her eyes slightly, Rosemary slowly walked forward and Aphmau moved out of the way, a confused look on her face as she glanced towards Ein; who shrugged, not knowing what she was doing either.

Staring at the locker for a moment, Rosemary slowly raised her fist and then, brought it forward with as much strength as she could, causing the row of lockers to rattle, the sound of the lock bending echoed throughout Ein and Rosemary's ears as they twitched slightly atop of their heads.

Eyes widening in shock as the locker door slowly opened, Ein and Aphmau slowly turned towards the beta, watching as she shook out her hand; seeming to be in a small amount of pain, before she turned towards them with a small smile on her face.

Seeing the looks that they were sending her, Rosemary's smile slowly fell from her lips and she looked between them, blinking innocently.

"What?"

Shaking out of her shock first, Aphmau walked forward and bent down, looking through some papers on the bottom of the locker.

'Just some.. overdue homework! There's not even a name on them'

Furrowing her eyebrows together, Rosemary walked forward and bent down as well, looking through the papers.

'Keep looking we—'

Hearing a very familiar voice, Rosemary snapped her head to the left and her eyes widened slightly as she furrowed her eyebrows together.

"Zenix?"

Eyes widening in a panic, Aphmau looked towards Rosemary and her eyes shone with worry.

'Rose, what do we do?'

Staring at the locker, the young werewolf frowned slightly and her eyebrows furrowed together momentarily.

If Zenix saw her, she'd be able to make an excuse to say that she was following a scent from the cafeteria, but at the same time, if they decided to hide, only one person would be able to fit in the locker, while the other two would have to run and hide somewhere.

"Someone should hide in the locker, while the other two run and hide somewhere, there's absolutely no way that two people would be able to—"

A small shriek left Aphmau's lips as she looked towards the way the voice were coming from and began to panic as they were getting closer.

'There's no time! Quick you two, get in there!'

As Aphmau pushed them into the locker, Rosemary's eyes widened in horror as her sister began to close it and she reached out her hand, going to stop her.

"Aphmau, wait—!"

The sound of the locker slamming shut echoed throughout Rosemary's ears and cut off her sentence, causing her to pull her ears flat against her head as she stared at the locker door with wide eyes.

Oh Irene.

The sound of hurried footsteps rushing away was the last thing Rosemary heard, before soft breaths filled her ears and she closed her eyes for a moment, letting out an aggravated sigh.

"Oh great.."

The sound of the locker trying to open filled the air and the two quickly looked through the small holes in the locker, but the figures she had seen caused Rosemary to almost sigh in disappointment.

'There they are.. let's get them!'

Eyes widening in panic, a protective instinct filled Rosemary's veins and she quickly looked up at the boy, slowly shaking her head.

"We can't!",Rosemary whispered quickly.

Looking down at the girl, Ein furrowed his eyebrows in confusion and watched as she realized what she had done; closing her eyes as a small sigh left her lips, causing the boy's grey eyes to study her face.

He thought she would agree with him since they had finally caught the culprit and her sister would be proven innocent but yet, she was hesitating and even stopping him.

How come?

'Wait.. why not?'

Pursing her lips together, Rosemary glanced towards the two shadow knights and sighed slightly under her breath; what was she doing.

"Because.. it wasn't them"

'I just want to make sure there aren't any spray cans inside',Zenix stated,'That could be evidence against us!'

Furrowing his eyebrows together in confusion and aggravation, Ein slowly shook his head and glanced towards the two shadow knights.

'What do you mean it wasn't them?!',The boy whisper yelled and looked back down at the girl,'The scent from the cafeteria led here to this locker and he's literally talking about hiding evidence!'

Biting down on her lower lip, Rosemary looked back towards the locker door and watched as it shuttered as Zenix tried to force it open.

Eyes of rubies softened at the sight of her friends, the conversation from the bathroom flashed into her mind and Rosemary slowly shook her head, confidence flashing through her eyes.

"I just know it wasn't them. They're my friends and I trust them when they tell me they didn't do this",Rosemary explained,"I think they're being framed by someone.."

'But who would do that?',Ein asked her, his voice below a whisper.

Squinting her eyes only slightly, Rosemary's eyes glanced between the two shadow knights and slowly shook her head, a small frown on her face.

All sorts of possibilities of who it could be ran through her head and she couldn't exactly pinpoint just one person that would do this to the Shadow Knights.

"I don't know.."

Watching as Sasha sighed in annoyance, Rosemary saw the girl grab a hold of Zenix's arm as she began to drag him away from the locker and tell him that if they stayed there any longer, then they'd for sure be seen.

The feeling of her chest being pressed up right against someone else's had finally registered in her brain and Rosemary slowly looked up, grey and red connecting.

"Umm.. Ein?",Rosemary spoke up and watched as her friend furrowed his eyebrows, waiting for her to speak up,"I think we're locked in. The doors jammed"

Eyes widening in alarm, Ein hurriedly looked towards the locker door and reached his arm forward, hitting it against the door.

The locker door had shook for a moment or two, but it wouldn't budge.

Sighing in aggravation, Rosemary slammed her head back against the locker wall and it made a dull sound as she closed her eyes, slowly shaking her head.

Of course she had to use her strength to get the stupid door open and now, she was locked in with Ein.

Could the day get any worse?

"Damn it..",Rosemary said, a small whine in her voice and she took a deep breath to try and relax as she realized that, yes, the day could get worse,"I was supposed to meet up with Daniel for class"

As soon as she had said the boy's name, an idea popped up in the werewolf's head and her eyes brightened for a moment.

"That's it.. Daniel!"

Humming in confusion, Ein watched as Rosemary tried to reach for her phone, but the locker was too cramped with the two of them in there and her fingers just about brushed up against the top of her phone case.

It was clear by the way the girl's heart had raced at the name meant that she clearly had some type of feeling for this person and this caused the werewolf to wonder who this person was.

Especially if they were great enough to catch the attention of the vicious beta female of the school.

Groaning in annoyance, Rosemary tilted her head forward and had hit her head against Ein's chest; almost forgetting he was in there with her, letting out a growl of anger.

Feeling as the werewolf tensed up in front her, Rosemary hummed in confusion and slowly looked up, seeing the fearful look in the boy's eyes as he stared at the locker door made her eyes soften.

He was afraid of her.

Of course he was, she had been so closed off and snarky with him ever since he had arrived here, barely showing him kindness.

"Hey, Ein.."

Hearing her voice speak up softly, Ein's grey eyes slowly looked down and looked into her red one's.

'Yeah?'

"I wanted to apologize"

A confused hum left Ein's lips and his eyebrows furrowed as he leaned back slightly; well, as much as he could that is.

She wanted to apologize to him, for what?

She hadn't done anything wrong and it wasn't like it was her fault they were in this predicament.

'Apologize? For what?'

"For the way I've been treating you",Rosemary said and seeing the way he looked at her in confusion, she decided to try and explain it better,"Ever since you got here, I haven't been the nicest person to you and I wanted to apologize, that wasn't fair to you. It's just that, you reminded me of someone... I want to forget"

Looking in between her eyes, Ein was quite shocked by her apology and it clearly shone in his eyes and his left ear twitched slightly, his lips twitching up for a moment.

'It's alright, I understand. And apology accepted, you were already forgiven'

Lips twitching up slightly, Rosemary was about to say something but her sentence was cut short once something banged against the locker and the door finally opened, causing the two to collapse on the floor.
